2025 Honda Pilot Elite vs Honda Passport Black Edition /Which SUV is Better :All Specs &Test Drive

- The 2025 Pilot offers a new Black Edition that adds a black grille, wheels and inside adds a heads up display, Bose sound and ventilated / heated front seats. The Black Edition Passport adds a blacked out grille, wheels and inside adding more features but doesn't give a 360 degree camera. The Passport Increases clearance over the Pilot but loses 5 horsepower to the Pilot so which one is better as I do this comparison review.

The hatch area in the new Pilot is too shallow, and will NOT fit a 30" tall full-size dog-crate, since it is just 28" tall on the sides, and barely 30" in the center. The Passport can swallow up the same 30" tall dog-crate, with inches to SPARE above it. This completely ruled out the new Pilot for me, since I went in with great hopes, and was sorely disappointed. One step forward, 2 steps back.
Hopefully, the new 2026 Passport will retain the same tall/square hatch area of the current Passport, and NOT reduce its utility like the new Pilot did.

The Passport all day every day Anthony but for sure the Pilot if I had a big tribe. The only issue would be that I love the Trail Sport the most but it does not sound like you can get ventilated seats with that trim level and that is a no go for me for sure. Only 107 here today and everything I'm hearing is saying just wicked hot for at least the next week. How are things on your side? Hopefully you got to get out and do some drives. @@jameswalsh6131 I like the Trailsport but I have a big family so I have to go with the Pilot 🥺😂 or my qx60 lol. Great vehicles James but if I had to do it all over I would probably go palisade or MDX.
That is hot, I hope you stayed inside or were indoors. That type of temps can start getting dangerous. When I was in Europe, every trains stop they would tell people to have water with them. Crazy how someone could forget water in heat like that.
Today was good finished the BMW reviews and started some Hyundai reviews in between pickleball with my kids. Today is my youngest son’s birthday, Yusuf and he just turned 11. Happy Saturday James
