- This client called us for leaf clean up job for her home. She also needed some general clean up as well. So we came in first thing in the morning to get this completed. The lawn mowing service was done first. It makes your leg clean up easier if you do this. Then we treated the flower beds for weed and the Perimeter of the back yard. Once that was done we finally got to start the leaf clean up. We blew the leaves out of the flower beds, turf area and drive way. Just in time to use our leaf vacuum to suck everything up. Over all it was a smooth job

$100-$150 disposal costs for leaves. 3 men working $20 per hr. $90. Insurance and maintenance costs..15-20%. Taxes 20%. It all adds up. I didn't include all the expenses.
@@saltwaterservant6526 where do you live where you can just drop leaves off for free or next to nothing at a compost plant? also 90(or maybe you meant 15-20% for maint? even so thats 81-108 even worse) for insurance and maintenance is insane, assuming 4 jobs a day at 1.5 hours and 5 days a week thats an average of 87 jobs a month so $7830 a month. Ya for 7830 i could pay all my insurance and replace my ztr and all my hand tools, get outa here with that

Yeah there are some people that have money that pay a crazy price. I have a client that I was going to her house one day and she paid 400.00 just for leaf removal in a tiny yard. I told her omg I would of came and did it on the weekend for you with my lawnmower, leaf plower and pick up truck with a trap for way less than that. She said and you I would of galdy paid 400.00 to. They were ripping me off. She paid that amout because she needed it done do to a party she was having and didn't want the leaves tracked in her house along with her to fury pawed dogs.

They're all gouging here in the US. They've doubled, tripled prices since 2020. I've stopped paying their ridiculous prices and just let stuff go.

Good for you! Maintaining rigs and a crew isn’t cheap. Only way you can do it in 1.5 hours is with a smooth operation.
That there is the problem. People shouldn't be charged for maintenance and keeping a crew. They should be charged for the job. It's not the homeowner responsibility to pay to keep the business going but for some crazy reason, you think they should be. 🤦🏻♂️

I just raked and bagged over 1000 lbs of leaves for $100 and a Walmart shop vac, a hose, and a corded drill. 🤣 To be fair though i also had to drive 40 minutes to the customer and also have to go back tomorrow to bag another 1000 lbs worth of leaves. So like probably spent close to 30$ on gas for the truck. And tomorrow will be a non paid return visit. 😅 Still worth it though..

You can, some leaves mulch better than others. Some mowers mulch better than others. You can mulch it but you’ll still need to pick up a pile of shredded leaves and blow the rest to disappear in the the end.

I prefer do myself to pay ..that money ...tge problem with people is been lazy... I have more than that leaves every year...by myself I do everything even bring the leaves to the place to recycle ..only cost me for all maybe 15 dolrs

Are you in a business or just home owner looking for tips? There are numerous shortcuts a business or HO can use. Mulch the leaves a few times into the grass if there aren't a ton of them. Mow or mulch once, then bag with a push mower and bagger and dump in truck bed or a trailer. Mow with the chute blowing onto a tarp and then drag to the truck/trailer (use a blower bowing under the tarp for an easier pull). Blow into the woods. Need more tips, let me know.
