Wow!! I hardly ever comment, but I thought that your video definitely deserved one Christine. I am very impressed with this DIY. It was very well presented. Very thorough. And absolutely just brilliant!! I like the fact that it is not permanent. This is one of the best DIY storage ideas that I have seen and I definitely want to try this!!! Fantastic job!!

For the trim I would recommend using ribbon because it is easy to use and cheaper then fabric. You also don't have to worry about cutting perfectly.

*than...not then. cheaper THAN fabric...not...cheaper then fabric.

She used fabric because it wouldn't fray, but Ribbon would fray really quickly!

I've watched a million youtube videos and I have to say this was a great one! very easy to follow - not too long but gave enough instructions. The video wasn't overcrowded with backgrounds and edits but didn't show a messy bedroom floor either.

I really love this idea! It's great! Though, I think that maybe you could try duct tape as a trim instead of the vinyl. It doesn't fray, is extremely sturdy, and it comes in all kinds of prints!

I absolutely love this idea. To each his own, for anyone who thinks this is too much work. Its personal preference to cover them in fabric. You could just cut the foam board and leave it at that, but the fact that you had the idea to personalize it is amazing. I've been going nuts trying to organize my drawers, and I do have store bought dividers but I didn't want to keep spending that kind of money. This is definitely something I will be doing asap. Great job!

Im definitely doing this !! im always looking at the pre made organizers at TJ maxx ect. and i never buy them because i know ill end up with some random left over drawer space or ill have to piece together multiple ones so this is awesome and will probably save some money because each individual one is $5-$8 alone and in the future if i want more then they can all match ! Thanks for the idea !

I just found your UA-cam channel today and was thrilled to have seen this DIY project because my new vanity arrived last week. I haven't put it together because I'm still downsizing my bedroom (well, my whole apartment actually) and wouldn't be able to get it where I want it. My new spurge (a Vanity Girl makeup mirror) came today and will sit on top of it or hung above it...depending on how realistic my new apartment shopping becomes. Your projects...downsizing and this one...that I've watched have been SO helpful. Thank you. (On a different note...LOVED that you are currently in Hawaii as my daughter, future daughter-in-law and BFF are heading your way for vacation in August (my BFF and my birthdays are in August...celebrating in PARADISE.) Maybe you could do a video of where to visit on Oahu. Thanks again.

Drawer Cross Section Tip: To ensure the grid is stronger use the notch system to interlock. it's much more stable than using just glue. You would only cut 3 pieces out instead of 5. One could place a bead of glue at each intersection to secure the notch system too.

cardboard wouldnt be as durable but its possible. if you mean corrugated card then if it's not too thick you could glue two layers of it together with the corrugation going at 90 degrees to each other to make it less prone to bending.
