Bambi also wrote the song. They are a trained ballet dancer. They describe their genre as ouja pop. The 2nd outfits the colours of the trans flag. The staging and canerawork off the scale. The designs on her face are ogham alphabet which was the oldest irish language. They also have brought celtic mythology into it not satanic. She gave nemo the winner her crown which they wore to accept the trophy. Felt that they deserved higher ranking in the judging but you know what they are the act that will be remembered
ahhhh thanks so much for sharing that insight on them! SO BLOWN AWAY by this performance! Thought it was incredible!!!! defo deserved a higher placement but none the less it's getting the attention!! Thanks for watching with me :)
@@Christian-rn1ur would you like to reread the original paragraph, before you try to come at someone? The author of THAT paragraph used THEY and SHE both. Also, the self-righteousness of assuming everyone should KNOW everyone's pronouns, then degrading them when they don't isn't helping. I was HONESTLY wondering if they were being assumed as "they," was the "she" just a slip, or is there a new one where "they" are also "she?" There are so many new identity agents to self identify as, it is literally impossible to know how anyone refers to themselves if they aren't presenting themselves as EXACTLY what they want to be referred to. I was called a boy for the first 14 years of my life, I'm not mad at the ppl that saw a 5'10" 12 year old with short hair and assumed I was a boy. Unless someone told them, they couldn't have known, and it is so stupid self absorbed to let other ppls mistakes effect YOUR day. I'll never see bambi thug to misgender her(even though I'M not the one who did) so why are you eating your energy away to tell me-a random, faceless tool- about something that is never going to matter to anyone but you?

Just because Bambie is from Ireland doesn't mean all the symbolism is Celtic. There's a lot of modern spiritualism, neo-pagan and counter culture elements to this performance. I don't think Bambie Thug could be described with one label.
Aww! cheers T for the awesome reaction, you really draw us viewers in, so thank you so much for that. Yes, Bambi is awesome, an artist, and that performance was a masterpiece. Thank you again for the great reaction, love from Ireland xx
The song is about putting a hex/curse on an ex-lover who treated them badly but also trying to rid themselves of all their mixed up feelings towards the ex, hence the song being both gentle and angry. The lyrics say it all. Absolutely outstanding. (PS - Bambie identifies as they/them - everyone seems to identify Switzerland correctly but doesn't with Ireland...)
Thanks for a great reaction! ❤ I can't wait to see more of Bambie's future music. Their back catalogue is already fantastic. I hope they do a circuit of festivals over the summer. They will definitely be successful beyond Eurovision
The background behind the song is a bad breakup with a boyfriend so they turn to summoning a spirit to be there new boyfriend then at the end the spirit boyfriend isn’t any better so they destroy the spirit.
I know that wearing hornes and acting like a demon is what it is and by the way we spent the evening with friends from 8 differebt nations abd hakf of them keft the room when Ireland was performing and the ither half could only shake their heads
So do you suggest if Ireland wants to put on a truly scary show they should send a couple of priests to not just scare kids on the night but destroy their lives forever. A lot of Irish have had quite enough of "Christian Ireland". This was a great piece of art and I enjoyed the incredible craft and time that went into this performance. I much preferred it to decades of abuse. If you're Christian, grand for you but plenty of us have too many scars so please don't speak for all of Ireland. Lots of us aren't religious and enjoy a good show.
@@Karaddar Actually I was responding to the initial comment on the top. If I replied to you instead then apologies. But it’s most definitely not satanic. I am from Ireland. There is a huge history of paganism, Druidism and worship of many kinds of deities and spirits that long pre-dates Christianity. Bon15987 should definitely read something.

@@summernaleDunningKruger They. SMH, don't know how someone can see the trans flag and still misgender them.

The performance is incredible and the director Sergio Jaen and his team complemented Bambie Thug’s song to perfection
This is an epic Eurovision performance for the ages. It will be remembered for the spectacular performance it truly was. Bravo Bambie Thug.

Switzerland well done but Bambie should have got more points from so many countries that gave Bambie no points. Thank you, Australia
How did Ireland do wrong?
@@storms9023 No Ireland did nothing wrong Storm, just countries that did not give Bambie any points.
Great reaction I enjoyed your comments ❤
ah thank you so much that's so kind!! ❤️❤️
This is the semi-final but the grand finale was even more amazing.
Good reaction (vibration), man. She deserves it. Mind blowing performance!

She refers to her music as Ouija Pop and I believe she has some theater training or something similar.

WOAH REALLLLY thats awesome

The usual crap, Bambie is wonderful.
The background behind the song is a bad breakup with a boyfriend so they turn to summoning a spirit to be there new boyfriend then at the end the spirit boyfriend isn’t any better so they destroy the spirit.
The politics ruined the competition.
By political, do you mean including a representative of a genocidal country state. Coz that I can agree with.

It’s not satanic. It’s pagan… pre Christian Ireland. It’s where Halloween comes from.

Why do we need to look at hornes and all this satanic rubbish in a family show, you can all pretend, at the and of the day it was satanic
