    Just found a way to prevent back muscle spasm pain when standing up from a seated position. Simply place each palms on your laps as near as possible to your hips and press against the laps as you stand up. In this manner it somehow deactivate back muscles from firing and pulling to strongly which in turn helps reducing or even stopping pain during your healing period. Try this to see if it works for you.

    Excellent. Finally someone talking about exactly what I'm experiencing.
    Would be great if can explain why as stand up straight more from years of being slightly hunched over without knowing it and rebalance my body there's a numbness in my sacroiliac area and a numbness in my glute and the side of my leg as I finally stand straight on that side and can all this be reversed?
    .... and how or is it a "Quada Equina" thing involving nerves bundle issues that may need surgery ?
    ....Or even quada equina nerve bundle issues severity can be naturally reversed through heat and ice standing erect and stretching?
    Also would be great if you could explain what's going on internally (where what joints(sacroiliac?) and muscles) when a lumbar numbness and an inability or reduced ability to push out colon for bowel movement (pre incontinence) due to hunched locked forward lean posture occurs and can this or should this inability to push BM (pre incontinence) be remedied in time by finally standing up erect (even on the toilet) with no pain and ability to reach back and be standing straight with zero pain??

      Thanks for the comment, you might find the episodes of our Podcast helpful in answering some of the above to give you a little more detail: backinshapeprogram.com/podcast/ (it's free) fundamentally you need to do proper rehabilitation work to make improvements in these things, doesn't happen overnight, but theres a 99.9% chance you can be much better than you are right now :)

    I am 46 and suffering with long-term cronic back pain for good 15 odd years. With yoga I felt better. However, from the past 3x years its getting out of my hands. If even I miss yoga for more than 2 days the severe pain crept back up again. Don't forget that I am always in pain even with the yoga but this time its got to the point that I cant even sit stand or lie down. I had to quit my job too. My children said that ai loomed like mama oddie😂

      sorry to hear about your struggle, it sounds like you've fallen into the stretching trap and now are severely lacking strength and dependent on this viscious cylce of short term stretching. Definitely check out some of our podcast episodes as well as the program itself on the website: backinshapeprogram.com It won't happen overnight - obviously - but with the right program you can turn it around :)

    I’ve had 2 severe lumbar flare ups in my lifetime and I’m currently in the second one. Thank you for explaining what I needed to hear. It’s sad though, I’m only in my mid 20s and I can’t walk for 2 weeks sometimes because of this. I hope I can find some answers to help so I am able to function normally. Do you have any recommendations for treatments when away from home - like certain medications, homeopathic remedies etc?

    • @BackInShapeProgram

      Sorry to hear about the trouble you've been having! I think the best things i could recommend are two fold:
      1) Check out the podcast episodes as they will give you much more detailed guidance: backinshapeprogram.com/podcast/
      2) You likely need help rebuilding your back properly so you can function normally, the program will be a great way to do this plus the team is there to help you along the way, here's a link to the details: backinshapeprogram.com/premium/

      My only way out of these episodes is going immediately to a physiotherapists. Medications do nothing . Last time I spent a week in bed with not benefit.

      @@TheFlowMind treatment can help, but we find many members find the exercises and support in the program effective - based on feedback we get :) without the need for an in person appointment. However seeing a good physio/osteo/chiro is always a sensible move for those that can :)

    • @BackInShapeProgram
      @BackInShapeProgram  Місяць тому

      There are solutions - but often "solve the pain" means stop it hurting right now, which is somewhat like saying how can i stop the pain in my big toe after kicking a wall.
      for "solve the problem" there are solutions which we discuss on many videos, but you need to understand the issue and stop making it worse every day which is a major hidden block for most people.
