I am just glad and proud that Vegas Fans remains humble and shows class and respect for the sake of all the players of both teams at the Fortress, even on a losing game. Hoping we continue that good behavior as we move forward to this exciting event.

I've been a passive Vegas fan since they came into the league and I was pissed when they knocked out my Oilers, but fuck all that. I can't fucking stand tkchuck, and seeing the fans disrespect the ice like that makes me hope Vegas buries the hatchet in their own barn in game 5.
Our guys are pros and Florida is undisciplined, it's so obvious.

I used to live in South Florida, I played in beer leagues and ref'd. There are about 20 people who I would say are Panthers fans. The rest just love a front-runner. Seriously, their attendance is garbage, and their stadium usually empty. I sat 15 rows behind the net for a game against Edmonton, $35 a seat. They don't deserve it.

It's been a really tough hard hitting rugged Stanley Cup so far.... I love it.... both teams have been playing that hard edge style hockey & it has been exciting.... GK's are just the better team right now... Panthers can't seem to score on Hill he's been solid in net... I feel bad for Bobrovsky he's been doing what he can to keep the Panthers in it but the GK's are just a very talented team... as for the ending of the game it was just incredible... what more could you ask for this is Stanley Cup hockey.... Panthers did everything they could right to the very end but just came up short... Hill made an unbelievable save to end the game.... emotions coupled with everyone's adrenaline running on nitro you just knew that the game was going to end the way it did with the fighting & what not but this is what the Cup is about high energy hockey... the only thing I'm not cool with was the fans throwing shit on the ice... what in the hell was that about?

Panthers lack the depth necessary to win the Cup, and their frustration is clearly showing. Great goaltending, coupled with average defence and average offence, can take a team only so far. Depth wins the Cup, and the Panther’s look thin.
You've nailed it. Their entire game plan is based on forechecking, and once they run into a team like Vegas that is able to take that away, they're just another average playoff team with a good goalie. They lack the tools to adjust the gameplan when they are not able to forecheck. The only reason they're even in the finals is because Toronto and Carolina lacked the skill to do what Vegas is doing right now.
It took them to the Stanley Cup Championship - that's as far as you can go.

Vegas fan here. We’ve had popcorn dumped on our players by Dallas. Trash on the ice in Florida. I hate the oilers, but nothing as a grown man would make me feel like it’s acceptable to dump trash on Connor McDavid. Sure hockey is an aggressive sport, but there’s no need to take the respect out of the game. Let the players fight. You’re not getting paid to be on the team and your ticket price didn’t include a vengeance tax. Chill the fuck out and let the game be played by the player.

Southern Florida isnt used to having a team make it this far. Pretty much new to hockey even though theyve had a team for ages. The fans just came out of their basements to bandwagon.
This is the first pro team Vegas has had. Vegas became a hockey town. Arenas began popping up all over town and the infrastructure for a farm from 3 years of age began. I don't know many families out here that don't have their kids begging to play hockey. Come to Vegas, find out!

I'm 65 and a life-long, certified hockey krishna. I have to say this is the most incrediblle finals I've ever seen. These two teams are both heavy duty, fast, talented, and ferocious. Just over-the-top hockey at its best. My Bruins had a phenomenal year, but the playoffs are a different animal. Props to both of these teams!

Hill hasn't done anything to the Sharks but he's public enemy #1 for the Sharks. Sharks give up a 2nd for him, he plays mediocre at best for SJ and is often injured, Sharks ship him off to Vegas for a mere 4th, Hill dominates for the one team the Sharks hate: Golden Knights, and is THE reason for why Vegas is a game away from a Stanley Cup -- something SJ has never gotten.

Sometimes it's a matter of chemistry. I don't think that even Vegas saw his potential until Hill got in there and showed what he could do with that particular team in front of him. They just clicked. It's pretty obvious that the other teams weren't a good "fit."

It’s been like this the whole series they’ve lost their composer starting at the end of game one and it keeps snowballing for them. I hated them before the finals even started and this will only add to it
@DarkCode All I know is repeatedly shouting "Ref you suck!" Doesn't endear the refs to side with your team. Panthers have been and currently are one of the most notorious and statistically most penalized teams in the NHL and it isn't by dumb luck or bias. If you need any examples, feel free to peruse Games 1 and 2 for an endless amount of unbelievably stupid and careless penalties they took. The refs have been less than stellar all playoffs long and I've seen them miss calls for both Vegas and Florida and even so, Panthers have made their own bed and quite handily at that. It's an immature team with immature players acting immaturely and it shows. It will also be the reason they lose and quite frankly I'm glad for it because they sont deserve the cup with their behavior.
