This took me unbelievably long, probably more attempts than the Robespierre vid. Some of my community were starting to make me aware that I haven't uploaded proper Stealth content in a long time. Basically, interiors suck and can die in a fire cus the game (and camera) is absolutely not equipped to handle them properly. I'm pretty happy to be done with this, even if it was fun to figure out some of the tricks. I also started wearing Arno's Master gear in dark colors because it looks nice. I'll probably stick with this outfit in the future. Cheers.

This is some Master Assassin shit right here son. 8 minutes is a long time to not have Unity glitch in some way, so it's really awesome you got this to come out as good as it did. Assassination at the end was really well done.

It is one of the hardest missions in the game if you don't know the few tricks to make it easier. (Marie's run route when you Berserk a gunner to make her flee, routes through the second and third floor hallways, etc) I used to hate this mission with a passion :P

This is amazing I love the way you think when playing assassins creed. It makes me think more when I’m about to take on a group of guards cause I know there is definitely a way to take them all out without fighting
;] There usually is, yes. Arno can take people out pretty fast. Remember that Phantom Blade damage is governed by ALL of your "Damage" stat and any Equipment that contributes to it. So if you have a high Damage stat, your Phantom Blade will be able to kill every guard in the game EXCEPT LV5 Defenders (Spear) and LV5 Agiles (Hats/3HitCombo Dudes). This means you can Quickshot pretty much anyone at will, unless they're those guards of those levels. Next, remember that Low Profile animations are faster on Single Assassinates, and High Profile Animations are generally faster on Double Assassinates.

I love that game. It had so many good ideas. I used to play it quite a lot, I didn't even get much glitches. The only glitch I had caused me to stop playing.
mil. Recently I went through all the assassins creed games again but I just couldn’t get through unity. I found it so boring. I didn’t like the story and it forces you to play coop to level up. But how are you supposed to do that when no one else is playing it!?!?

Hello, at 0:26 how did you do that swirling descent twice so consistently? I can't seem to find good information on how to do this, other than hold (Shift/R2/RT) high profile(aka sprint) + descend (O/B/E). Some say this is a controlled descent, but it certainly didn't swirl downwards when I only hold high profile and descend. I got extremely lucky. I've been playing Unity for five years now and as far as I'm aware it's completely random, contrary to that video's description. It was two Parkour Downs in a row, and Arno just felt like doing that anim. :P I wish many more animations were more deliberate. Left Stick direction / Movement direction can maybe, *MAYBE* influence what animations come out, but you'd just be raising likelihood at best, and due to this lack of consistency I don't find it worthwhile to figure these things out. Same thing with High Profile Assassination Animations being completely random.

@@LeoKRogue Yes man just as you said personally I know that you have to prioritize snipers but sometimes it's very complicated like in heists when go for the sniper you might get detected by another enemy while climbing. Generally I would love to study your mindset on stealth because I love that aspect of the game. You could also include it in a fast paced stealth guide and you could over clips of what you re thinking in the scenario that you re in.

Marie is easily detect Arno in the ball room but she can't even see Arno in that room. But IIRC she also easily detect me when hiding in that room with her bodyguards. So the only time she is "blind" is when she is running for her life? Good game btw and how you still reply for newest comments is very nice of you.
That's right, the only time she's blind is when she's started her 'running away' script. You can do whatever you want to her when that happens and she will always run to the same place, every single time. Thanks!
Imagine seeing all these dead people all over the palace and running away to your room to protect yourself just to see that menacing hooded figure completely dressed in black waiting for you. Absolutely perfect.
That's exactly what I had in mind. I _had_ to have that be the ending. My favorite gameplay videos I've ever made are ones that tell a little story of their own like this.
Oh here it is.. amazing. One of the good things of this game is that the aim (especially for no HUDders, immersion seeking) goes directly onto the next target and doesn't have to be really engaged. and one doesnt' need to aim due to this (as far as I noticed). I love the use of Highprofile kills and then using the non low profile kills, conscious alternation also for aesthetic reasons and the use of the berserk, thing, I keep saying I wish I knew it from the start or had the wit to discover it by myself immediately (was so busy trying to make the no HUD mod work that I could not dedicate soem time checking this stuff).

I just did my second playthrough, got through the entire building aside from ground level and got killed by an elite with the damn pikes, redid it, got shot by a brute (I have only the first health upgrade because I'm trying to stealth it all) and now I managed it in 20 minutes. I think its really hard on the first playthrough but exponentially easier after doing a few of the coop missions and repeating elim missions because the first time I actually had to full combat it because I couldnt get it to work, slow and methodical is simply better, also eagle vision is absolutely necessary and you forget on your first playthrough I think
my guy it is may 2020 and ive been playing this game since early 2020 when i got it and i liked it alot and then i loved it and when i saw this i was like this game is one of my favs thanks for instilling a serious passion for a not so perfect game that was released eons ago

It doesn't take long to memorize but you have to retry again and again because of bugs, weird animation randomness, and other things outside the player's control.
When I first did this mission I had to explore the whole place killing every single one of em without using phantom arrow and all and clearing all the objectives lmao I even had trouble finding the said guy in objectives 😂 I had no idea how that fireworks will activate actually u gave it a bad ass ending kudos to you Monsieur! 😂

I know it's a bit late, but may I ask was this done on a mission replay? I ask because I tried to quick shot people here with phantom blades when I was 5 stars, an no one would die in one hit. You can't get to gold stars level until after this point, so I'm guessing that's how you are quick shotting people with your regular phantom blades, right?

BRO THIS MISSION TOOK ME LIKE 7 HOURS TO COMPLETE HOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, I see players like mred and I go like, he is the best player and the I see you and I go like wow mred sucks. I think you know who mred is because I saw you reply to one of the comments on his video.
I know who he is, yeah. :) I think we both have our strengths. As for how, you could pretty much follow this like a guide; - Clear the guards on the middle floor of left wing of the palace, like I do - Get to the top floor and Berserk Blade that one gunner - Go hide back in the room Marie always runs into. Easy! If you want, you can save her husband first for the Full Sync, up to you.
Thanks for the tips, what I did was I went down to save the prisoners by killing the guard with the key and I just fought my way to the main door which was a dumb move 😳. And then I went to the middle floor and I got spotted, I smoke bombed and decided to go past them and hid in one of those closets and once they forgot about me, I went to the main hall where the target was but before that I killed the snipers at the top and then just ran to her and assassinated her and once I finished the cutscene I just ran away even though the guards spotted me. I suck at the game but after master Leo K teached me more than the game teached me, I became a monster to the templars.
Some enemies I shoot with Berserk Blades for the temporary stun, then rush down with my Hidden Blade before they wake up and go crazy. Phantom and Berserk look like they have the same animation but they're actually pulling from two different ammo stocks which is what makes it visually confusing. I need to do this because otherwise I will not have enough projectiles to play at this insane speed as you point out.
Phantom Blades don't count the shot that is already "chambered" numerically. You can have 0 but if the Icon isn't faded Red that means you actually have one left. Also thank you. >:)
Glad you liked it! The King of Beggars, Marie, La Touche and Le Peletier have the "Coward AI" archetype attached to them whenever spooked or triggered in some way. You can do some interesting things with them by knowing where they like to go.

i love that in the stealth reaper videos you never use the eagle vision which makes look more hardcore love your style and stay sneaky edit: 4:31, oops, uhh...at least he used itonce that's nothing right? edit 1: well 2 times... i mean, it's hard to detect enemys when you don't know where they are am i right guys?
Use of Eagle Vision is always done in such a way to preserve flow. The reason I use it in this video is because of Randomness. In memories with bigger surface-area, some guard patterns (despite all starting the same way) eventually become random, and have various possible places they can be in depending on how long earlier animations took. Kill-animations are also random, and that's why the unsyncing happens. You can memorize it all day long, and they might still be in slightly different spots. Eagle Vision is quick-tapped to quickly get a read on this Randomness so that the video can continue with maximum smoothness.
I really like stealth with tactics who I won't do cause play on ps 4 is tragic with sensivity that i cant change though, i trying so much to beat and be good assassin in stealth and I won't stop to beat myself in stealth, I'll try to learn of your lessons and tips about stealth. Until you grow your own style, the fastest way to improve is definitely to copy people you think are good. That's what I did too, for a long time. Eventually, our own style comes out naturally. These days, I can't play on PS4. :(
This is super cool and all, but I still feel like going through a level for the first time on the highest difficulty without a HUD and trying to be as cinematically stealthy as possible is more fun....
Yeah, play how you want. :D I have a lot of no-kill / pacifist vids on various missions in Unity and various other games as well. I cover a variety of playstyles because I enjoy them all. (Except for Combat, because everyone already does that.)
Anyone can do stealth like me, just copy the things I do, watch some guides, and practice a bit ^__^ What I do isn't any secret skills, it's something normal players can copy and use in their own gameplay. In the videos that it's recorded to look perfect, it took many attempts to get that perfect take, very few of these stealth videos you'll see on UA-cam even from other creators are done in a single try.
Still by far the most modern and advanced Assassins Creed game to date.. makes me so sad we had this one masterpiece then Ubi went down the path they did making cartoon fantasy RPGs...
The UI in Unity counts how many Projectiles you have in Reserve without counting the one currently "chambered." If the icon is Red that means you have 0 in Reserve and none currently loaded either. In that case you would be unable to shoot at all. If your UI says zero but you still have one loaded into your gauntlet or pistol, you can still fire. Test this yourself by shooting all your bullets or phantom blades except one, then click Reload. (Left Stick Click or R on Keyboard) Tap your Tool Select and it'll say 0 but you'll still be able to fire. I hope this helped! ^__^
In AC Unity, projectiles can be Chambered / ready-to-fire without displaying on the UI. You basically have one round/blade "loaded" inside the actual weapon. If it says you have 0, but the Icon is Blue-ish/Normal, you can still shoot. If it says you have 0 but the icon is completely Red, you can't.

Yeah, Hoarders is one of the hardest missions to play well in the entire game. I feel like it's the interiors. Indoor spaces just mess Unity's AI up super bad and make it do weird things.

That's right. Unity is like playing under heavy gravity; my full power can only be shown in something like Ghost of Tsushima, which I can't record any of, yet. :[
You can become this anytime you want. Just repeat the same mission until you memorize it. :P That's how I and other UA-camrs who make immersive gameplay do it.

I still don't know why it wouldn't run it fine because i could run the kenway saga with high quality 60fps just fine but they said that it would not be playable
I use Disguise in this mission to fast-clear the courtyard with ease. Disguise and Cache go on the same slot. That aside, I do not like using Cache because it necessitates standing still in the field, and as you might guess from my gameplay, I'm the kind of guy that likes to stay agile, zippy, and keep moving. :D
Arno's Master Coat or Arno's Tailored Coat. Any Hood. Legendary Military Bracers. Legendary Sans Culottes Belt. [These two ARE the Build, EVERYTHING else is just cosmetics basically.]
@@LeoKRogue hood that really looks cool is legendary napoleon hood, it has best eagle vision range, duration and cooldown, 90% assassin's cache time. Best for single player. But I use legendary military because of money looted bonus, yes I'm that cheap: looting every corpse. 😂

Hello, at 0:26 how did you do that swirling descent twice so consistently? I can't seem to find good information on how to do this, other than hold (Shift/R2/RT) high profile(aka sprint) + descend (O/B/E). Some say this is a controlled descent, but it certainly didn't swirl downwards when I only hold high profile and descend. I got extremely lucky. I've been playing Unity for five years now and as far as I'm aware it's completely random, contrary to that video's description. It was two Parkour Downs in a row, and Arno just felt like doing that anim. :P I wish many more animations were more deliberate. Left Stick direction / Movement direction can maybe, *MAYBE* influence what animations come out, but you'd just be raising likelihood at best, and due to this lack of consistency I don't find it worthwhile to figure these things out.
Same thing with High Profile Assassination Animations being completely random.

Thanks! That sounds like something I would enjoy making. Can you go into more detail on what you mean by Target-Selection? Things like prioritizing which guards to kill first, kill-order, stuff like that?
@@LeoKRogue Yes man just as you said personally I know that you have to prioritize snipers but sometimes it's very complicated like in heists when go for the sniper you might get detected by another enemy while climbing. Generally I would love to study your mindset on stealth because I love that aspect of the game. You could also include it in a fast paced stealth guide and you could over clips of what you re thinking in the scenario that you re in.

Marie is easily detect Arno in the ball room but she can't even see Arno in that room. But IIRC she also easily detect me when hiding in that room with her bodyguards. So the only time she is "blind" is when she is running for her life? Good game btw and how you still reply for newest comments is very nice of you.
That's right, the only time she's blind is when she's started her 'running away' script.
You can do whatever you want to her when that happens and she will always run to the same place, every single time.

One of the good things of this game is that the aim (especially for no HUDders, immersion seeking) goes directly onto the next target and doesn't have to be really engaged. and one doesnt' need to aim due to this (as far as I noticed).
I love the use of Highprofile kills and then using the non low profile kills, conscious alternation also for aesthetic reasons and the use of the berserk, thing, I keep saying I wish I knew it from the start or had the wit to discover it by myself immediately (was so busy trying to make the no HUD mod work that I could not dedicate soem time checking this stuff).
Yeah, this is my favorite video I've ever done on this game.

I just did my second playthrough, got through the entire building aside from ground level and got killed by an elite with the damn pikes, redid it, got shot by a brute (I have only the first health upgrade because I'm trying to stealth it all) and now I managed it in 20 minutes. I think its really hard on the first playthrough but exponentially easier after doing a few of the coop missions and repeating elim missions because the first time I actually had to full combat it because I couldnt get it to work, slow and methodical is simply better, also eagle vision is absolutely necessary and you forget on your first playthrough I think

It doesn't take long to memorize but you have to retry again and again because of bugs, weird animation randomness, and other things outside the player's control.

I know it's a bit late, but may I ask was this done on a mission replay? I ask because I tried to quick shot people here with phantom blades when I was 5 stars, an no one would die in one hit. You can't get to gold stars level until after this point, so I'm guessing that's how you are quick shotting people with your regular phantom blades, right?

BRO THIS MISSION TOOK ME LIKE 7 HOURS TO COMPLETE HOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, I see players like mred and I go like, he is the best player and the I see you and I go like wow mred sucks. I think you know who mred is because I saw you reply to one of the comments on his video.

I think we both have our strengths.
As for how, you could pretty much follow this like a guide;
- Clear the guards on the middle floor of left wing of the palace, like I do
- Get to the top floor and Berserk Blade that one gunner
- Go hide back in the room Marie always runs into.
Easy! If you want, you can save her husband first for the Full Sync, up to you.
Thanks for the tips, what I did was I went down to save the prisoners by killing the guard with the key and I just fought my way to the main door which was a dumb move 😳. And then I went to the middle floor and I got spotted, I smoke bombed and decided to go past them and hid in one of those closets and once they forgot about me, I went to the main hall where the target was but before that I killed the snipers at the top and then just ran to her and assassinated her and once I finished the cutscene I just ran away even though the guards spotted me.
I suck at the game but after master Leo K teached me more than the game teached me, I became a monster to the templars.

This is so cool! But how do you have so many phantom blades? I saw 9/12 at some point but for sure you killed like 30 dudes with them
Some enemies I shoot with Berserk Blades for the temporary stun, then rush down with my Hidden Blade before they wake up and go crazy. Phantom and Berserk look like they have the same animation but they're actually pulling from two different ammo stocks which is what makes it visually confusing.
I need to do this because otherwise I will not have enough projectiles to play at this insane speed as you point out.

The King of Beggars, Marie, La Touche and Le Peletier have the "Coward AI" archetype attached to them whenever spooked or triggered in some way. You can do some interesting things with them by knowing where they like to go.

Use of Eagle Vision is always done in such a way to preserve flow. The reason I use it in this video is because of Randomness. In memories with bigger surface-area, some guard patterns (despite all starting the same way) eventually become random, and have various possible places they can be in depending on how long earlier animations took. Kill-animations are also random, and that's why the unsyncing happens. You can memorize it all day long, and they might still be in slightly different spots. Eagle Vision is quick-tapped to quickly get a read on this Randomness so that the video can continue with maximum smoothness.

I have a lot of no-kill / pacifist vids on various missions in Unity and various other games as well.
I cover a variety of playstyles because I enjoy them all. (Except for Combat, because everyone already does that.)

Anyone can do stealth like me, just copy the things I do, watch some guides, and practice a bit ^__^
What I do isn't any secret skills, it's something normal players can copy and use in their own gameplay. In the videos that it's recorded to look perfect, it took many attempts to get that perfect take, very few of these stealth videos you'll see on UA-cam even from other creators are done in a single try.
Still by far the most modern and advanced Assassins Creed game to date.. makes me so sad we had this one masterpiece then Ubi went down the path they did making cartoon fantasy RPGs...

The UI in Unity counts how many Projectiles you have in Reserve without counting the one currently "chambered." If the icon is Red that means you have 0 in Reserve and none currently loaded either. In that case you would be unable to shoot at all.
If your UI says zero but you still have one loaded into your gauntlet or pistol, you can still fire.
Test this yourself by shooting all your bullets or phantom blades except one, then click Reload. (Left Stick Click or R on Keyboard)
Tap your Tool Select and it'll say 0 but you'll still be able to fire. I hope this helped! ^__^

In AC Unity, projectiles can be Chambered / ready-to-fire without displaying on the UI. You basically have one round/blade "loaded" inside the actual weapon. If it says you have 0, but the Icon is Blue-ish/Normal, you can still shoot. If it says you have 0 but the icon is completely Red, you can't.

Yeah, Hoarders is one of the hardest missions to play well in the entire game. I feel like it's the interiors. Indoor spaces just mess Unity's AI up super bad and make it do weird things.

Unity doesn't behave itself on my computer anymore, for reasons I don't understand.
Why don't you use assassin cache it refills all your consumables meaning you get more phantom blades and berserk
I use Disguise in this mission to fast-clear the courtyard with ease. Disguise and Cache go on the same slot. That aside, I do not like using Cache because it necessitates standing still in the field, and as you might guess from my gameplay, I'm the kind of guy that likes to stay agile, zippy, and keep moving. :D
