Same gutiar lord ahriman from dark funeral uses! I love the nt version of this so much
Yes! The NT looks awesome as well, would definitely want it, that and the EX version
Thumbs up for Vitriol T-shirt!
Dude, you're in the zone.
That sound🤘🏻🤘🏻
Cheers man 👊🤟
@krisfk 1990 if I use a wireless transmitter playing sitting down in classical position will it get in the way? Thanks
@@allboutthemojo hey! It shouldn't do as the output jack is in the upper horn and past the thigh, I'd try on yourself first with an actual lead and see where it rests on you but I never had any issues
@krisfk 1990 thanks for replying. Unfortunately I don't have a chance to try before buying that's why I was asking. Don't think it's in shops at the moment. Just online. I play mostly sitting and was concerned about this and slipping issue
Heavier this time cool
Definitely man 💪
Dude I did the same thig with my Schecter Ravendark about 1,5years and definnitely had to get her back !!
Song?
Damn! The tone is heavy! What strings and pickup is that?😎🎸🎸
Thanks man. I was using D'adarrio nyxl 13-56 tuned to Bb standard. The pickup was an EMG 81
@@hunter757 Ten4. They have the black arrow at AMS. Thanks for the info👍😎🎸🎸
Thinking of picking one of these up but also considering the Solar V1.6. I'm curious about the little leg curve, I've got beefy thighs, do you find it more comfortable than a "King V" style body? Thanks man and great playing
Thanks for the comment. I have pretty thick legs myself and it fits perfectly for me. Of all the Vs I've played this was the most comfortable one plus the cutaway on the body makes reaching the top frets a breeze
@@hunter757 thanks man!
sickk bro. hows the tuning stability with the floyd when downtuned? if u do hella divebombs n shit like vitriol does it stay in tune??
Never had a problem with tuning stability at all! Was a little awkward when going for drop A, had to stick an extra spring in but other than that golden!
@@hunter757 tremendous!
you know the little carv in on the guitar thats on ur thigh, does it annoy u or hurt? i dont have a chance of trying this guitar but im thinking of buying it so just wanna know :)
Good question, and the answer is no, it fits so comfortably around your leg it really locks into place and doesn't move, definitely one of the best Vs I've tried
@@hunter757 thanks for the answer! im just so suprised because it really looks like it digs into ur legs but if u say its comfortable i believe u!
Hey man, great playing. What gauge strings are using if you don’t mind me asking, thank you.
Hey man thanks! String gauges were D'adarrio NYXL 13-56 👌
great sound and demo thumbs up! Quick question I am about to buy this monster but i am confused about the case.. which one are you using ?
Thank you! Tbh this never came with a case and I never had one. I would personally go with a generic randy rhoads style one or a standard v case. I'd maybe check on the esp website and see if they have a specific one for this, I'm sure they do.
Don't get a standard V case this guitar will not fit in in properly and you won't be able to close the lid. This is an ESP arrow shape not a standard V.
If you don't wanna blow 300£ or close to on the ESP official case for it look for a guitar case for "oversized and unusual/extreme shapes ala bc rich"
why should someone go for the nt model , without the tremolo ? is it better for drop tuning ?
I guess it depends on how precious you are over whether you want a tremolo or not e.g. primarily a rhythm guitarist. But yeah tuning lower is easier in terms of not having to set up the bridge more so, that and changing tunings easier.
B flat?? sheesh what strings do you use for that!?
D'addario 13-56 kinda feels like 10-46 in standard 👌
Great tone!
May I ask which speakers are you using with the line 6 modeller?
Thank you! It's two, it's a dual amp set up, one is a 4x12 treadplate and the other is a 4x12 peaveyxxx I believe
@@hunter757 no no, sorry if I was not clear. I mean what speakers you use for playback, as in studio monitor or FRFR or something else?
In other words, how do you listen to the guitar sound coming out of modeller?
Thanks!
@@ratedrsuperstarthega ahhh I see 🤣🤣 very simply it's coming out of my Laney Ironheart cab, audio is Samsung s10 mic 💪
@@hunter757 Very nice!
So that Laney Irohheart cab is doing the magic here.
It doesn't sounds good if it comes out of studio monitors you know. But a real cab just works wonders.
By the way, how are you powering the laney cab? since line 6 unit doesn't have power amp...
@@ratedrsuperstarthega yeah although I'm cab sims as the raw tone of the cab isn't amazing for whatever reason. I'm using a rocktron velocity 300 to power the cab, everything set to max 👍
I wonder if that cut shape on a guitar's body feels allright for right leg
For me it felt perfect, I've fairly thick legs and the cut wrapped around it so well that the guitar didn't move an inch
Is there any neck diving to this when playing standing up? Sounds killer btw! 🤘🏼
Not that I've noticed, usually a thick strap fixes that immediately 👍
@@hunter757 thanks, dude!
What size strings
They're d'adarrio 13-56 tuned to Bb
Hi bro What is the gauge of strings that the guitar comes with from the factory?
I believe it is 9-42 according to their website. For this video they're 13-56 tuned to Bb
@@hunter757 Really? I recently bought a cheap Jackson and it came with 09 strings, I had to change them to play more comfortable metal. But I thought that arrow would come in a more aggressive caliber. Well after all to play in C, monster strings are required hahaha, thanks for answering bro, long live metal
@@Lazaro575 I guess standard tuning is 99% of most instruments at factory unless it's a baritone or a sig guitar. 13-56 is still somewhat medium light-light for Bb but it works fine for me.
@@hunter757 I once got some Ernie ball hybrids. The sixth string was 0.60, and the first was 0.10 if I remember correctly, to tune the guitar in C, but I had to add another spring to the floyd rose, total 4 springs. Try that hidden bro, in Bb maybe you shouldn't put an extra spring on it, since the strings will be less tense
@@Lazaro575 it currently has 4 springs in there as it has a 64 on it tuned to drop A, but returning to Bb shortly so will remove it
what amp u using here
It was a line 6 hd500x into a rocktron velocity 300 power amp, to a laney ironheart cab
What kind of strings you got on her..?
The d'adarrio nyxl 13-56, won't use anything else
@@hunter757 I’m trying out the Ernie Ball Cobalt 10/46 for my active pickups now.. I’ll have to try out the d’adarrio’s tho. Nice axe bro
@@BrokenFox9 nice, I use 10-46 on my eclipse, NYXL for me just last forever, easily 2-3 months of regular usage and I'm still fine
@@hunter757 ya it’s been bout 3 months for me just switched from regular slinky’s to the cobalt ones, I didn’t know what would work best with my pickups so I choose those. What do you like setting your pickup height at?
@@BrokenFox9 nothing crazy, as it's an EMG it's high output anyway so maybe half an inch, I couldn't say, I don't mess with it too much
what tuning?
Bb standard for this 👍
Cool guitar but this isn’t the arrow.
Definitely is 😅 unless you know something I don't
@@hunter757 it looked like the king V version at first but then I realized I was wrong lol
@@jessecurtis6825 haha no problem, wouldn't mind a king V though!
