Yep and they sure do get a good percentage of anything you get. A friend of mine was a passenger ina vehicle that was sitting at a red light and a semi never hit the brakes and slammed into them. Luckily they were in a Suburban and not a little car. He had to have surgery on his neck and took over 2 years to get a settlement.

Really lady? Why on EARTH would you walk out to the middle of a busy road? You are so blessed that truck hit your car and NOT you. Just wow. I do NOT understand what people are doing. I've been driving for over 50 years now. Still have my license, and knock on wood, I have yet to cause or be part of a crash. Drivin is all about what the other people are doing, not what you're doing.
Oh wow man, the title of this video was on point, very horrible, i don't know how i am going to sleep tonight. Did you see the one with the moo cows? Moooooooooooo
It's evident that training is not a priority anymore. I think they train on how to start the truck and put it in gear. They don't teach how to look ahead to look for trouble, use mirrors, how to use brakes and they train to drive too fast for conditions.
1:50 Flatbed is like... "I can't see a thing in this fog, but I haven't seen another vehicle in 20 minutes. Should be safe to Cross." But then comes what I call a Timingcocker.
Yeah but the other guy was driving too fast here. The flatbed started crossing before the cammer could see him. The cammer should always drive the speed that enables him to stop in the distance that is overseeable and free. The crossing was blocked from the moment he could see the flat bed. So he should have been able to stop in time.
@dani-it5sy you are absolutely correct. The alternative view would suggest the guy crossing would just have to wait there for 10 hours until the fog cleared. The camera vehicle was not maintaining what we call in the US "assured clear distance" which is basically exactly the same thing you just said
@@jd-ls4tk Of course. Driving blind while assuming the road will be clear is madness right? Still so many people do it. And it's the law. the flatbed was fully in the clear in my eyes.
Just a lot of 4 wheel vehicles thinking they have enough room to get over and they don't, and 18 wheel vehicles hauling butt and going too fast for the conditions. You see so many pileups in the snow where semi who can't see that there has been an accident slams into the already wrecked cars. You'd think they would go slower in weather that prevents them from seeing far enough ahead to be able to stop suddenly. speed should match your ability to come to unexpected stop. Your load is not going to be there on time if you destroy it in an accident. Also, really could do without the vehicle vs animal ones, what's the point?
Ever notice the ones that break check a semi, always lie about it when the law show up? Love my Garmin cams. I'll wait till you you lie an pull up the vid.
0:51 - One mph faster than the truck in the middle lane is not passing. No wonder a fool tried to pass you on the inside. Get the hell out of the passing lane.
these clowns are all driving too fast and too close to the car in front. the only reason there are not truck accidents where the slam into slow traffic is just pure luck, the majority of these seem to be the truckers fault. they need to get to that net doc, then have to wait 20 minutes to get unloaded.
You know I watch these videos and think to myself. How stupid people are when driving chunk of steel down the road. And put their brain in lala land. Oblivious to conditions of the road and surroundings
Who else fell for the "break checker messing with the truck" at @0:20 only to immediately think "perhaps I treated you too harshly?"
Um... yeah. Same here.

You are not supposed to be standing still on a road. It is a good idea to warn others coming from behind by turning on all four indicators.
so many driving way too fast for the conditions
Some of you so called 'truck drivers' need to slow tf down in bad weather. Most of what I saw on this video was 100& preventable.
