  • Certainly! Here are some important safety instructions for driving:
    1. Buckle Up: Always wear your seatbelt and ensure that all passengers do the same.
    2. Stay Alert: Avoid distractions like texting, and stay focused on the road.
    3. Obey Speed Limits: Adhere to posted speed limits and adjust your speed for road conditions.
    4. Maintain a Safe Following Distance: Keep a safe distance behind the vehicle in front of you to allow for sudden stops.
    5. Use Turn Signals: Signal your intentions when changing lanes or making turns.
    6. Observe Traffic Signs and Signals: Follow traffic signals and obey road signs.
    7. Don't Drink and Drive: Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
    8. Check Your Blind Spots: Use your mirrors and turn your head to check blind spots when changing lanes.
    9. Stay within Your Lane: Maintain your lane discipline and avoid weaving in and out of traffic.
    10. Be Mindful of Weather Conditions: Adjust your driving to suit the weather, whether it's rain, snow, or fog.
    11. Give Way to Pedestrians: Yield the right of way to pedestrians at crosswalks and intersections.
    12. Use Your Horn Sparingly: Honk your horn only to alert other drivers of your presence, not as a form of frustration.
    13. Avoid Aggressive Driving: Stay calm and patient, and avoid road rage.
    14. Regular Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained with working brakes, lights, and tires.
    15. Stay Informed About Road Conditions: Be aware of road closures, accidents, or construction on your route.
    16. Use Hands-Free Devices: If you need to use your phone, use a hands-free device to minimize distractions.
    17. Be Courteous: Show respect and courtesy to other drivers on the road.
    18. Plan Your Route: Know your route in advance and have a backup plan in case of unexpected detours.
    Remember, safe driving not only protects you but also the people around you. Always prioritize safety on the road.

    I've heard that big trucks often have a blind spot, but I didn't realise it was the 200 meters directly in front of the windscreen.

      Takes just a few minutes to reset. Very cost effective but not very functionally effective at high speeds. It does lessen the impact quite a bit though.

    Just an FYI to the newbies out there that are planning to install dashcams;
    Make sure that the location(s) you choose for both front & rear cams are where your wipers will clean the glass.
    If your cams are obscured by rain or snow, your videos will be useless, especially in court or by insurers. 😎

    I'd really like Tyler to explain to us where he expected the other car to go, it was well ahead of him, matching speed with traffic, and the on-ramp lane was ending. Technically the other car should have had their turn signal on, but it seems like Tyler sped up to not let them over just to be petty that they didn't signal.

      That's the beauty of this channel. No annoying music or screaming. You can relax and play whatever you like. There's also the issue of copyright and it's just much easier to have no sound than reupload a video 15 times removing all the copyright violations.
      There is sound in some clips some of the time, but very rare.

    0:32 Like, I realize the Mercedes is the original victim. But goodness gracious how he quickly turns into a 2nd villain by allowing his car to trail into oncoming traffic and then just stop in the intersection. He must be a lawyer, trained to allow all fender benders to appear to cause his car to jettison much farther than it really did to cash in more lawsuit money.

  • @C.Church
    @C.Church 9 днів тому

    Many accidents can be avoided by just STOP being so passive and only caring about what is directly in front of you. Engage your brain. See the body language of other vehicles. Use your rearview mirror NOT just to be mad at tailgaters but to understand the dynamics of traffic and the need to MOVE OVER.

    Übermüdete , Kaffee kochende , am Handy spielende Trucker sind die größte Gefahr auf den Straßen.Haltet immer von ihnen großen Abstand denn sie lernen es nicht .
    Tired truckers making coffee and playing on their cell phones are the biggest danger on the roads. Always keep a good distance from them because they don't learn.
