Thank you so much for this teaching. Our pastor is working on training and discipling men and its amazing to see how that is already blessing our church.
It’s not just God has a role for men and women. The elder and husband represent God in these relationships. The woman represents the church. This is how we should look at this.
Wonderful episode!!!!
Great information. Even the Pastor needs to be pastored. Elders are crucial and biblical. Elders pastor the flock and hold them accountable and elders hold elders accountable.
Would you please address the terms Senior Pastor as well as Associate Pastor or Youth Pastor? Where did we get these terms from? Thank you!!!
Man has made many things that are not scriptual.
They're all pastors who are employed for different roles. Pastor is a Biblical term.
Great episode!
Hoping you might touch on the actual qualifications as there is much confusion and uncertainty in the modern church.
For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers...
-excerpt 1 Corinthians 4 KJV
-words of Paul
If one supports the qualifications of elder, as put forward by Paul, one
MUST also accept that the title/position of 'father' is valid and proper in
Christianity. Since this is also one of Paul's teachings.
But the title of 'father' was expressly forbidden by Jesus.
And do not call anyone on earth your father; for only One is your Father, He who is in heaven.
-excerpt Matthew 23
-words of Jesus

There doesn't seem to be confusion in the Biblical churches
The biblical qualifications of pastor are outlined in two primary New Testament passages, 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus1:5-9. There are three terms used interchangeably in the New Testament to refer the highest office in a church: elder, overseer, and pastor (which means “shepherd”) all refer to the same office.

Paul states that he was a 'father', which is an unacceptable title.
His qualifications for elder (etc.) are obviously called into question
due to this false teaching.
In my old church ⛪️ that went woke in 2020 Riverside church there elders where just business men and allowed false teaching and CRT into the church. Me and my family left because I realized that the word of God for elders and their role and function was not what I was seeing.
Should pastors who God saved while having a non-Reformed church step down?
Have you ever addressed Jesus forbidding titles like father or teacher?
(not this channel)
I have, should you want the excerpt from my free essay.
They don't use those words as titles though
@@HearGodsWord
Paul referred to himself as a father.
Paul referred to other brothers in Christ as his sons.
This is all covered in detail in the post, should anyone
wish a study.

I always felt I was called to be a pastor and missionary. But everyone has told me I don’t qualify because I don’t have a 4 year theology degree. Jesus said to make disciples, not make people go into life long debt to learn the scriptures.
You'd show whether you were called by your actions and behaviours, so they migh be the reason people don't think you are.
@@HearGodsWord I stated what they said. So stop making things up since you have no knowledge of my actions and behaviors.
@@krakoosh1 what am I supposedly making up?? 🤷
Yes, “this thing” called predestination is in the Bible, but not as Calvinists misconstrue it.
Also, make sure none of them are Calvinists, and look hard, because Calvinists often hide it and lie about it, and sometimes even take over churches by taking over deacon and elder boards.
