  • Brian introduces a new feature in StitchArtist level 2, the World's first automatic 3D Foam underlay for satin columns. The foam underlay setting allows you to create embroidery designs that can be stitched on top of embroidery foam. Once the element of the design has finished stitching on the foam, you can remove the excess to reveal your raised 3D embroidery.

    I love this feature in StitchArtist Level 2, along with the Density Map.

    Other tutorials I’ve seen suggest to turn off underlay with foam. Can you explain why you keep underlay on?

    I have Stitch Artist 2. During this video Brian says turn the heart points on. I don't think I have that option. Is that part of SA3?

    Please improve the 3D rendering engine to a more realistic view...more pleasant. Other than that, awesome software and Thanks for support Mac 😉

    Hi Brian, how's it going? I looked all over the place trying to find 3D foam option. Is it still an option?

      Yes it is a satin column option in StitchArtist L2 as shown in the video. Contact support if you are missing it. Http://embrilliance.com/contact-us-2

    I have all 3 levels of Stitch Artist. Why do I not have 3D Foam capabilities? I have visited your website and can not located an update/upgrade. Where can I get this update to my software?

    • @CBzhnw
      @CBzhnw 6 років тому

      Download the entire program at the top of the Embrilliance Downlodad page. There is no difference in the upgrades or downloading the entire program. Your key's will be saved, just don't uninstall your program. 3D Foam is in the properties, lower right corner of your program.

      Thank you so much for that info, but I see 3 new buttons on the main menu in Brian's video on 3D Foam : 1) "Branching" (at the end of Path section) that I now have due to the update you told me about, 2) "Brother" with blue circles & lines btw save & printer buttons, and 3) "arrow head w/ line & dot (btw preferences & create button). Which update did buttons 2 & 3 come with? Will the "brother" button allow me to send my designs directly to my scan n cut 2, because I have craved the ability to do that. I usually create all my designs in Embrilliance because it is (as it's name says) BRILLIANT! Also, what does button 3 do?

      I'm not sure about the ability to send to Scan and Cut, I don't have a Scan and Cut. I'm going to let someone else help, I'm getting confused myself. I'm sorry about that. If anything, go to Facebook and search for the Stitch Artist Group. Hugs,

    Can you do 3D foam underlay with Level 1?

    • @Embrilliance
      @Embrilliance  2 роки тому

      If you want to manually draw it yourself, you can create anything! However, the 3D foam setting for the satin column is a level 2 function.

    I love the capping ability for foam but, giving an underlay for the foam makes no sense. You want spacing of the threads to be tighter in order to prevent the foam from sticking out.
    I'm currently using Hatch 3 Digitizer but, I'm looking at this software for other features that Hatch doesn't have.

    • @Embrilliance
      @Embrilliance  11 місяців тому

      Change the underlay density to a higher number like 30 or 35. The caps and joins stitch first and it has to travel from one to the other in an automatic function.

    Hope anyone can assist, how can we program a "Stop" so as to tape on the foam at the right moment? My Barudan has a way to do this but it's somewhat complicated. ALSO, centering in a round hoop is weird, especially if things aren't square in the perimeter (like being able to manually center for the hoop, so as the center can be offset). If you know how to do this please send me an email to bill@bthrash.com. Thanks.

      B-Thrash stopping is a machine function. Multineedles do not stop unless you program them to do so.
