jiggy meister : nope it's all about your race , your ethnic and which place you came from , so it's clear that east africans are the hardest , fastest and the fathers of modern human civilisation from the horn to Cairo , so do not say athleticism has no nationality or history ,yes it does. Have you seen the carved huge rocks and rock pyramids of egypt ?! Do you think any human can do such a work under the hot sun of egypt even the modern white Egyptians, except those strong skinny cushitic people which are painted on the walls of each pyramid and item of ancient egypt and nubia ?

@@crabb9966 mentally I think it really is, during the race at least. you need to adapt each time to the race that's going on. sure sometimes they might know how different athletes like to pace their runs but strategies might change. Always having that need to check your own pace and know when to start sprinting must be harder than just "blindly" running as fast as you can each time.

I ran this in the 38's way back in college, and I was good enough to win local age group categories. We had a Kenyan on our team and I got to watch him break 30 at a conference meet. The performance gap between him and me was gigantic. But the gap between him and someone like Farah or Bikele who could run 27:30 on demand may be even larger. You gain such an appreciation for the talent of elite distance runners watching this, especially those like Farah who had such a long period of dominance and is breaking WR in 2020!

kazap1 yes im training since 4 months , only 1 hour by 2 days, with 11.5km/h, i do 45 min on 10km, but if you take a marathon world record, 2h02 for 42km, you need to run at 20km/h for 2hours, its very very hard, i can stay only 5 min with 20km/h, but i only run for my self not for doing records or the first places, i only love to run, i was fat 1year ago, but know i have an athletic body through runing xD, i lost 30kg ...

Very well done for losing weight. I can do a 10k in about 35 minutes. Try not to think about other peoples records, or how fast to do a certain area. Just go for it the whole way. What's the worst that can happen? Your legs hurt a bit. Just push your self as far as you can and you will get better than 45 minutes.
