anaerobic respiration is the release of a relatively small amount of energy in cells by the breakdown of food substances in the absence of oxygen, it has nothing to do with being stored and 5k athletes would be using aerobic respiration. The reason the athletes who are at the top have such good br is due to their fitness as most would be classed as in a term called bradycardia. Also that they have been training at high altitude which mo farah does the barometric pressure causes them to develop more red blood cells which are needed to supply the muscles with oxygen during races.

Xisean Anthony Mo Farah is the distance king. He has done all events 1500m and up, and has done exceptional in all of them throughout his professional career. Look at any other athlete's personal record, and compare their's with his, and I guarantee you there's no way you either passed him by tenth's of seconds, you stood close to him but never caught him. He can literally do them all. He could've won the 1500m in the olympics if he actually wanted to.
Devin Bristow How old are you??? Do remember Kenenisa Bekele from Ethiopia at all. He also won the 5K 10K double in 08, and the 10k gold and 5k silver in 04 plus a lot of World Championships. Also check how his cross-country resume.
He has the world record the 5K, but I wouldn't bet my money on someone who hasn't ran a dream mile yet. Mo Farah can beat him in the 1500, mile, 800, 3200, 10k, and he finished at 2:08 his first marathon. You bring to me one man with a record and good time. I bring to a man who brings to the table numerous records, and better times. Xisean Anthony
Devin Bristow Go look at Bekele resume again. And he's also the WR holder for the 10k along with the 5k. Also check out his IAAF World Championships, and Cross Country resume. I have nothing against Mo Farsh, but to say he's the best distance runner off all time when Kenenisa Bekele has just as much or probably more credentials then him is hilairous. Like I said earlier Mo is the best right Now, but not the best of all time Yet.
He ran the first few laps at the very back of the field, and the last lap in under 53 seconds. That's the sign of a true master racer. Ultra confident, and ready for anything the opposition throw at you. Delivering on the biggest stage of all... the Olympics. Farah is a legend. So too Linford Christie and Colin Jackson.
The slow pace at the beginning really played into Mo's hands. Someone needed to really challenge early to stretch him out. He's so explosive on the last lap that he's nearly impossible to beat in this situation. Nevertheless, awesome run!
If Gebremeskel is going for it, he is defenitely taking the 5000 meter in Rio 2016. He has improved so much the last years. Ran a 13:12 in 2014..and that was on the road..
I love how Galen Rupp gets a great reaction just because he was Mo's training partner (and cheered for him when he won the 10k ahead of him). Very rare Brits will cheer an American

True. Especially when a home athlete wins. It’s so special
MO FARAH, as of now in the presence, IS THE BEST DISTANCE RUNNER EVER! He can do it all I swear. He's so incredible.
Devin Bristow best now??? yes best ever??? No
Xisean Anthony Mo Farah is the distance king.
I was lucky enough to be there.....incredible and a deafening noise !
Tactical masterclass the greatest British athlete ever, inspired a generation of athletes
He ran the first few laps at the very back of the field, and the last lap in under 53 seconds. That's the sign of a true master racer. Ultra confident, and ready for anything the opposition throw at you. Delivering on the biggest stage of all... the Olympics. Farah is a legend. So too Linford Christie and Colin Jackson.
great running strategies from mo fahra
farah
agreed
god
Jayden Colon filmkor
ee
Farah nationality somalilander not british
the stamina to do that is unreal let alone the 10,000m
This was such an exciting race! The title kind of spoils it though. But still an awesome race
+Gary Oldman lmao I can't I'm dying 😂😂😂
+Bestn8ivealive wasn't that funny..?
shoutout to the commentator he deserves a payrise
Something in East-African genetics. Not sure what exactly, but there's something.
Mr Crackers no dumbass, it’s the mountains and high altitudes. Search the great rift valley
Tyler Yllander because East Africans run and have camps to train for running long distance
23:01 something looks odd about her, that which I dont know a "Hellebaut"
Mr Crackers you’re despicable
Long limbs from the heat of the region
The slow pace at the beginning really played into Mo's hands. Someone needed to really challenge early to stretch him out. He's so explosive on the last lap that he's nearly impossible to beat in this situation. Nevertheless, awesome run!
Go go go mohamed farah Allah always be with you allah bless you and your family
Ubah Abdi what are gerat name mohamad farah but he dont know
i ran this even faster than Mo but it’s just that the cameras weren’t on
Hahaha 😂
*secret flightreacts
nice😂😂
Lol
FTC
That sprint for the finish though. Many people dream of running a flat out 400m like they did in that last lap!
Incredible crowd not only for British athletes, but for the Olympics. Brilliant-and of course Mo Farah.
It took me 25 minutes to run 5 km, and these athletes run it in half of my time. LOL
which is absolutely insaneeee
13 minutes, jesus christ
i need 30 minutes lmao
Same here .. i run a 5k in 25 min
@samuel5792 Bro, I am the same exact height and weight as you. No offense, but you are way out of shape LOL.
Bro how to improve our timing , mine is 5k @ 30 minute
I mean, he makes It in less than half your time, but he problably trains more than double you train. Guy is a monster
I love how both those guys behind the runners were so happy when everyone cheered for mo
It's amazing to see how their strides become in sync when next to eachother
This race was slow because major event like the Olympics are tactical. They don't care about personal bests like this.
If Gebremeskel is going for it, he is defenitely taking the 5000 meter in Rio 2016.
He has improved so much the last years. Ran a 13:12 in 2014..and that was on the road..
Mo farah's late sprint and stamina was unbelievable at his prime 🔥💀 one of the greatest runners of all time ✅👍 Anyone watching this in 2024👇
Mo farah keep going the best wlhi love somalia 🇸🇴🇸🇴🇸🇴🇸🇴🇸🇴
He was using taktik of abdi bile abdi being last man to run and when they exhust wake up
@@yusufmohd192 stop talking nonsense
The world record guy just chilling 1 minute while waiting for others
It was more like a couple seconds
@@cram2688 no, it was a minute
@@cram2688 it was over a minute
Kenensia the greatest ever!
I love how Galen Rupp gets a great reaction just because he was Mo's training partner (and cheered for him when he won the 10k ahead of him). Very rare Brits will cheer an American
👌
He was 10k silver medalist that is big , not only mo partner at training.
I love how Mo is so confident he can stay at the back until he’s ready to turn on afterburners!!! Reminds me of Apollo Ono
Wow, just look at how big one lap is, and they have to do 12!! They are amazing and very talented!
a fellow somalian :) proud
Go Somalia!!!!!!He did race for London but, the real Somalian Mohamed Farah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
chocolate ADAM546463GF4D3HDS43H There is no such word as "SOMALIAN", either it is Somali in the singular or Somalis in the plural, you illiterate fool at least know how to spell.
+SummerSissle if u going to correct me do it properly
That face Mo Farah makes in the last 200m is funny and badass at the same time
watching this bc of i’m a celeb (obviously i knew who mo farah was beforehand but that inspired me to watch him) and wow i got chills
the crowd took "MO" in "Flying Carpet" till the end,one of the greatest moment in the Olympic game history.
After watching this ..i cleared my delhi police physical test in 2012
I remember watching this live and me and my brother literally fell off the couch watching the last lap because it got so tense when they all got so close to each other. The both screaming “come on Mo!” While still on the floor.
Had to rewatch this again today, the day u’re going on Retirement, was amazing watching this on the day and best race ever plus your 10,000m.Thanks for sharing your talent to the world 💯👊🏾🙏🏾🇬🇧
I like it how at the start mo was at the back so that he didn't go off and waste his energy like if you think too
Who's ready for the 2016 Summer Olympics?!
