As someone who has played almost exclusively hardcore mode on and off for 2 decades, I am a huge fan of using prayer merc on casters. The addition of insight runeword long ago and recently cure helms have only make it stronger. Prayer takes care of any chip damage and mostly negates posion allowing you to use only rejuvs in your belt and thus eliminates any chance of using the wrong potion when in danger. It provides a simple/relaxed play style that only dies from one shots which are quite rare. Nice vids!
until you get blood curse from the witches - then healing pots are the most efficient.
Fully agree! I only play hardcore and if it’s not a melee build I run prayer for steady life regeneration instead of life leech

I have telestomped packs by accident too many times and seen effective hp pool 4.5k+ blown away in one shot.
Also, if you play with others they can easily get you blown away by accident.
Also dolls with amp damage - even more fun!

I love GS with blizz since they freeze the enemy and not just slow them. So it’s actually makes soloing the game super safe. And once you get to a boss, throw blizz, static, and ice blast. It’s super efficient.
Cold mastery is not just some "minus 1% res for every point". Its plus 1% dmg above those original aftersunder 5%, which effectively means +20% per point. Which of course diminishes as you're getting more and more + from gear, but nonetheless!
MaxRoll- Patch 2.6 slows her down a little on that front by reducing the Cold Mastery effectiveness to 1/5 against monsters that have their Immunity broken.
Sorceress
Ever since LOD I created my own word build that's a pure Charged Bolt build and used to PVP with and it's seriously badass and I have no idea why nobody I've ever seen has ran CB. It's an ES/Warmth Energy build instead of vita and it's insane at PVM and frankly more fun than any other generic Sorc build. I actually just started to build my Sorc today. The skill tree is very similar to a Smiter in the way that CB only has 1 synergy to max plus light mastery leaves a lot of options like u can do CB/Frozen Orb or FB or whichever other damage skill u choose. And at 200 fcr omg it's so strong and fun. My max CB dmg was around 1.2k per bolt 😄
You should probably fill in frozen orb casts for larger groups
Im surprised with how much perfect gear and good charms you have, that you dont use a 3 energy shield staff thats also a CTA. yes you lose 2 skills to BO but having energy shield and dumping your remaining points into telekinesis instead of warmth (keeping 1 point ofc) and obviously putting points into energy instead of vit just seems like the better option. you can also get a 3 es with 3 frozen armor or 3 shiver armor. save a skill point as well.
If wearing enigma, why not save the teleport skill point for something else?
Maybe, to give him the option to use a different armor and still be able to tele
so its a gg endgame frozen orb sorc but instead you use glacial spike...
i mean, you could literally run any offensive spell if you have infinity, not to mention all the other slots being basically best in slot
Seems like a decent alternative hardcore build. The skill setup definitely lends itself to using energy shield for added survivability.
I went zerk on my barb with rhyme and tokend back and then tried it one more time and decided on ww with a few pts in zerk

Look at that one point in blizzard vastly outdamaging GS though.... and orb damage is nuts. Also, your amulet has boots name. How would this build do without the perfect gear? Poor man's Glacial Spice sorceress? Poorly, I daresay.
You can use loot filtter in offline, is very nice.
Enigma over Ormus is just wrong.
100%, the 20% fcr also let's you put on snowclash for 3 more points into GS. This was not a very well thought out video.

Is this all SSF, or is any of it HE? Reason I ask is the ammy...? Lvl 45 2/10 sorc with 58 mana & 20 all res is pretty godly...
I hero edited to test it and make video. Currently using this build on live streams with SSF single player gear.

it's one point, then if you want to swap gear you don't have to respec. Always put 1 point no matter what.
No more dual spec for my frozen orb Sorcs. My other points are going into glacial spike and ice blast
Faceted armor might be a good option aswell instead of the enigma if you don’t mind losing the strength and mf
Ice blast is probably better to spam at bosses. Orb feels the funnest and blizzard should be filler anyways.

i love bliz sorc, the only issue is it sometimes doesnt hit enemies but for bosses its quite amazing. I always go bliz sorc until i can switch to nova sorc (usually when i get infinity, at least thats what i did this season)

i wish they'd get rid of static, corpse explosion and death sentry. every build uses them and they're lame. if not get rid of, make them a lot weaker or change how they work
That cleanse aura works pretty slow, eh?
It ain't that quick but it is brilliant - I use it on all my chars. Cure + Chains of Honor for all my sorc mercs

Phil u hotta check out my cold mosaic build it actually doesnt blind you it does 30k cold damage i get 30 cold skill damage from my mosaics i went cold amd swyayaya instead of the runic talons. Got nice 3ps claws and it melts like a blizzard sorc but faster.

I've built chars who basically will never die, i find that boring. i need a char who might die, so keeping them alive is far more fun... just me
