Swanzo Dead by Daylight - my thoughts on the new killer called The Singularity which gives me the same impression I had for the skull merchant. Yet another 3 gen killer that everyone will probably hate. I see content creators hyping this killer but I just don't see it. This killer is just another 3 gen skull merchant type killer. I expect to hear a lot of complaining in the future from survivors who hate playing against this killer because its going to be a long drawn out 3 gen match.

Some are making comments like this video came out yesterday. I made this video the first day of the PTB. Many of the comments are based on the state of the Singularity at that time. The Singularity received 2 buffs since then. My general opinion is still the same just some things went from horrible to bad.
I'll take the Singularity over the Skull Merchant any day of the week but yeah %90 of the matches I've played are f*cking miserable and I really can't find many fun play styles.
This just confirms Friday the 13th Chapter 3 same killers in a row so we get a new Trapper.
I know there are many content creators hyping the hell out of this killer but I just don't see it. Some people are mad at my opinion. Just wait people are going to sing a different tune after horrible 3 gen matches.
idea: what if the emps instead of disabling both cameras and biopods, it only disable biopods but it will be like freddy, whoever got their biopod destroyed by an emp get an endurance that stops cameras from instantly attaching another biopod to them, and after a couple of uses the camera could get autodestroyed
Yeah something like that might work. I really feel something needs to change. I haven't seen a singularity in so long. It was so over hyped I feel it didn't get the changes it needed.
Well the new Killer is live and... Hes either the most useless pile of gunk that the devs put together iun a long time, or hes a 3 gen boring ass hell killer so this video was very accurate

Can confirm, he's good against people who don't know how to abuse LOS blockers or EMP's. Once you go against even one survivor who knows how to abuse these things it's hell.
@@renjiaow3742 I realized that on the PTB after playing one game with all bots. Because they LOS and use the EMPs really good. When I saw other content creators talking about him being S rank and crap I wanted to know what are they smoking.
My issue is with the new killer is the emp basically renders his ability useless because like you said they have infinite amount of emps I honestly think they should make them less abundant because the emp is far too strong, I honestly think they should either nerf the emp range or reduce the amount of emp boxes or limite the amount the box gives
This killer is going to be hard to fix without turning it a ridiculous 3 gen monster nobody wants to play against. If I had to make a prediction this killer will probably always suck or become ridiculous get nerfed and go back to sucking again.

I know right? I thought that the first day of PTB (when this video was made) and then I saw all these content creators hyping it up and I was like wtf? This video got massively disliked to hell and its just me telling people the truth instead of hyping another garbage killer.
One more thing; everyones making vids saying “this killer is amazing!!” My opinion is this killer is freaking LAZY! Cameras, teleporting and anti pallet stun mechanics. Give us a killer that’s good in chase, doesn’t promote tunneling, proxy hook camping, possible slugging (Forced Hesitation perk) and possible 3 gen scenarios. I have nothing against tunneling, slugging or camping; I would just prefer playing a killer that has multiple mechanics to reward you for not doing any of that stuff.

Scott Jund is the only big creator who put out a video showing what its like playing against players that know what they are doing. @@Jonathanspetduck yea you drones do. If a survivor gets an emp and uses it, the whole killer is switched off like a light switch. He can't use his power to loop, 3 gen, or anything else you can use it for because the only way this isn't a killer that runs around m1ing, is the fact he has pods, and you can switch it off with an emp in less than 10 seconds. a ton of content creators are hyping this up and people are falling for it because even if the killer is shit. They will always go for the content creators side because they are big. plus, these content creators are going against terrible players the have no clue what to do, and they can tp on to the survivor and get an easy kill. This killer is terrible. I don't get how people think a killer that can be completely shut down and turned into an M1 killer by an EMP during the match multiple times is any good. This killer is really weak imo and I don't get how people don't see it.

I think this killer is a mix between Pinhead and Skull Merchant. Every time I saw a teleport it resulted in an instant hit. I saw a lot of proxy hook camping. And having the ability to be smash the pallet on teleport without a stun….it’s going to be very hard to loop it. The last thing I want to do is run around all match with an emp to counter its ability.
And yes TCM can’t get here soon enough!!
That was basically my experience. Just always have an emp so that you can get the pods off.
