I never realize how much I miss the podcast until I have to go a few weeks without it. Welcome back boys!
it'd be weird if you started missing the podcast while it was still airing...
Is Derrick alright? He didn’t say one word this entire podcast
He joined roosterteeth
He's getting his crab on.
They literally said he was off working on their video game.
@@spindash_ if it’s anything like their book it will come out in 15 years

Even notorious bug hater Rocco Botte is enchanted by the whimsy of a firefly's glow.
Not if your outside with them
I'm just baffled that he earnestly said "I could not believe my eyes-..." while talking about FIREFLIES AND NOBODY SAID ANYTHING lmao

Finally Tuesdays are exciting again
Words can't express how psyched I am for the FMV game.
I was at the Ottobar show. I agree with Shawn, it was such a small, but intimate venue. Baltimore has a ton of unique venues. Great show guys!
Wow, it's heavy handed for Shawn to claim Beetleborgs is nothing more than 'bit' fodder. It's deeply offensive and downright disrespectful to label the show Beetleborgs as a joke. This classic 90s television series holds a special place in the hearts of many fans, myself included, and dismissing it as a mere joke undermines its significance and impact on pop culture.
First and foremost, Beetleborgs was a show that targeted children and young teens, and it succeeded in captivating its audience with a unique blend of action, comedy, and supernatural elements. While some may argue that the show's humor was cheesy or campy, it's crucial to remember that it was intentionally designed that way to cater to its target demographic. The humor and light-heartedness were part of its charm and helped make it a memorable and enjoyable experience for countless kids during its original run.
Furthermore, Beetleborgs deserves recognition for its pioneering approach to special effects and practical monster designs. Although the show might not have had the same budget as larger franchises, it made the most of its resources, delivering impressive and imaginative creature designs that were both terrifying and captivating. The team behind the show worked tirelessly to create a world that was filled with excitement and wonder, and for that, they deserve appreciation rather than ridicule.
Moreover, labeling Beetleborgs as a joke ignores the effort and dedication of the actors and crew members who poured their hearts and souls into making the show a reality. The cast and crew worked diligently to bring their characters to life and entertain the audience, all while facing the challenges that come with producing a television series. To diminish their hard work by calling it a joke is incredibly unfair and disrespectful to their talents and contributions.
Beyond that, Beetleborgs was part of a lineup of iconic shows that defined an entire era of television. It was one of the pillars of the "tokusatsu" genre, which has a dedicated and passionate fanbase worldwide. To dismiss it as a joke is to disrespect the entire genre and the rich history of Japanese and American collaboration in creating beloved TV shows.
In conclusion, it is essential to remember that different people find joy in different things, and just because something might not resonate with everyone doesn't give anyone the right to belittle or demean it. Beetleborgs holds a special place in the hearts of many people, and reducing it to a joke is an insult to those who cherish the memories and experiences they had while watching the show.
Instead of mocking and deriding Beetleborgs, let's celebrate its nostalgic value, its creative efforts, and its influence on the lives of those who grew up with it. Let's foster an environment of appreciation and respect for the diverse forms of entertainment that have touched our lives, rather than tearing them down with thoughtless and offensive remarks.
THIS is my kind of comment
Had a great time seeing you guys at the Ottobar in Baltimore. I’m glad Shawn also noticed the sweet old-school White Stripes poster.
I congratulate Derrick on realizing he too was a crab man all along.
Seeing these boys in Chicago was the highlight of my summer so far. West Coast folks ya gotta go.
It was so awesome to meet you guys! A true dream come true. Thank you so much for signing my EGM Volume 1 DVD!
Happy y'all enjoyed Ottobar. Definitely my favorite venue in Baltimore, glad you guys got to experience it.
Garret referring to Johnny as “Earth Crisis Actor” got me so good
Hearing the crew talk about PA and Ohio stuff is so wild. Vouching the Cedar Point love
As a Baltimorian, im glad you have embraced they way of the crab. My job for 14 hours a day at one point was to slaughter those creatures, when i go to hell thousands of crabs will be waiting to rip me limb from limb.
I am so glad you got the proper north coast experience between the cedar point day ,firefly's, culver's, and the our lady of mount Carmel festival!
loved seeing you in Milwaukee! really means a lot you stopped over there since Chicago usually gets all the fun.
Derrick isnt there because he's taking his turn napping on the back bench on the bus
Got my tickets for Rocco's show at the Comedy Mothership in Austin, can't wait! 🇺🇲🎙️🤣
Tour stories are great. And no one has better tour stories than Marbin.
Was excited to hear you touch upon the Indianapolis venue, I need to call in to this or the PPS one of these days to tell the tale of how our trip to Indi to see y’all almost ended with me and my friends nearly and accidentally taking part in a human trafficking and heroine deal at the restaurant across the street from that shit hole venue lol.
😨
I’m getting really weird vibes surrounding Derrick, he hasn’t been in any patreon stuff or podcast related stuff in a looong ass time. Hoping he’s ok
I’m betting Derrick quits. It seems like he’s hated being there for like the past couple years
He was in the last podcast?
I did wonder about the movie club though ( I only see the scores as they get relayed to letterboxd)
Maybe he's still busy riding his high horse around
Saw you guys in Baltimore awesome show. Growing up in Maryland and hearing you guys gush about how Baltimore crabs changed your life made me so happy
The return from the little content break has been quite nice; like meeting an old friend - appreciate y'all!
Damn, Baltimore show were showing out in these comments. I was there too, love y'all
Welcome back, we missed you!
The best meal is the memories we made along the dusty road
Hell yeah. It was sick seeing the Chicago show

Glad to hear the east coast leg of the tour went well! I'm extremely excited for the Denver show!
Giuseppe Makes a Movie is one of the best, most interesting documentaries I have ever seen.
This is such a cool cast hearing about your travels!
Been gone for a minute, what's up with this farewell thing. Are they done actually?
Just a joke, like how the last one was Last laugh, I think it's just a riff on how bands always seem to have multiple final tours for years and years.
So glad to see you guys back!!! You were missed
Glad you guys enjoying touring US! Hopefully you can visit THEM next time.
I still have to quickly replay that damn intro it’s so good
Can someone give me the scoop on what happened in Indianapolis lol
Same I gotta know! I'm from Indiana and I don't even know.
The venue was a literal shit hole, security was passed out off drugs presumedly, it was in an extremely sketch part of town, a bar attached had glory hole through the wall of the women’s restrooms (the men’s bathroom was 4 planks of wood outside with a tree growing in it), venue was powered by gas generators, the seating was old school and church chairs/benches, the bathroom was fucked and covered in shit and blood, with syringes laying about, I could keep going but ya get the gist lol.
While I was not there, it was at the Emerson theatre. That is a punk/metal venue that is very run down so I imagine it was just a mess of sound mixing, cleanliness, and professionalism.
Come to Nashville!!
The new intro is great. Somebody must be a Wild Beasts fan for sure!
The idea of someone doing karaoke of Take Me Out to the Ball Game is so funny to me
I'm proud of you guys becoming Crab Boyz
Wait...they dont have fireflies on the west coast!?
YES BRO, L&B Spumoni Gardens, you picked the right one. It’s not as good as it used to be but it’s still great. The fact you Shawn said their Sicilian is the best pizza he ever had, I’m proud of him.
The one and only podcast where yall talked about Ohio, thank you for this
UGH I have to see Minnesota Memories!
How the hell has Shawn never seen a firefly? Do they not have fireflies in California?
My guess is the temp isnt up enough in so cal for fireflies to be around much
I grew up on the west coast (but much further north) and never saw a firefly until I moved to the midwest. They just don't have them where I was, and I guess not in San Diego either.
I kinda of want to see that Minessota Memories one, is there a way I can?
Quick search there is a Minnesota memories of 1982 on youtube. Don't know if that's the same one?
@@SeanUnkemptnot sure tbh, that is also why I wrote the comment, to know if that is the good one lol
I want to see it too, I have no idea how to find it though. Searching "Minnesota Memories imdb" turns up an imdb page for a VHS short film called "Memories" that's 12 minutes long. Could that be it?
Yo, shout outs to Yosemite Shawn. I was there as well doing half dome.
Love yah bruh 🫡
Baltimore show was awesome so happy i saw you guys
I hope y’all hit Pittsburgh next tour. Sounded like yinz fucked with it, but wasn’t able to go cause $ problems this summer.
That's hilarious! No fireflies in California? I had no clue! Same same but different!!
Upload Milwaukee Memories to the main channel
I saw the rat.
Source: I was not present at the show.
Glad milwaukee came through with the food spread
Hell yeah I never thought I hear about THE Bone Town on the Mega64 podcast. Love Cedar Point
The boys are back in town,
The boys are back in town!
NO SHAWN WENT ON MILLENIUM FORCE LMAOOO. He should have done that one last. I think he would have loved Maverick.
If theres another tour yall should try and book Connecticut.
Whats the name of the short film by Giuseppe Andrews that Johnny mentioned?
Dribble
They didn't let you talk about the Gohan/Goku double pack from S.H. Figuarts that has Goku as a ghost?! Savages.
i love this podcast absolutely no cap
I read some comments on Giuseppe movies "This movie is the best thing ever. In the full version they say so much crazy shit that you take a look at your life and say to yourself "wow, my life is so normal" then you're like "who the fuck are these people?"..."
41:20 YO WAS THE A FUCKIN MOSQUITO SONG REFERENCE!?
Rocco killing it with the Queens quotes recently, Kino
Glad someone else noticed it :)
Ayo Rocco shouts out Mosquito Song
I've seen Dracula Dead and Loving It a million times, no way is there a Blud Light.
Tomar was a voice in the ad before this
Hello. I will unfortunately not be able to attend any tours outside of Sweden or Denmark. Please think about that
I needed this podcast.
rocco didnt mind the firefly bugstunt?
12:27 there's a splice easter egg.
Sucks you didn’t return to Indianapolis.
To be fair there’s several venues you can play at that 10x better then whatever the hell the Emerson Theater.
Sadly, Had to hard pass this tour. Next time, seriously shop around to venue in the Southeast.
I was horrified to know that their first taste of Indy was the Emerson.
whoa! I thought you guys retired.
I didn't like the Lincoln hall venue. Way too uptight and they were kicking us out right away... didn't get a chance to say hi. I liked the other venue more for Last Laugh!
Is that a baby yoda toy wearing joker makeup on the shelf behind Shauns head??
im lates to seeing SHOUTS OUT INDY...sorry we scared you
The boys are back
I missed this.😢
Jalapeno chips > Salt & Vinegar
Shawn 100% correct
Agreed, their tier list was invalid because it didn't include any kettle style chips, including kettle jalapeno
Who was the rat?
17:20 shoulda came to Fort Wayne
Podcast not done in olive garden am disappoint
From Chi-area can confirm giant rats
