Technology has really changed over the last 30 years for agriculture. More efficient. Less manual labor. Of course there is a price to pay for it but if you get more done in less time i guess it pays for itself
Neat video, nice sprayer. I sure hope Agco don’t shut down the Gleaner combine line, I’ve been seeing a lot of talk about it. Just to remind anyone from agco who sees this, your name means, Allis Gleaner Company, without Allis-Chalmers there would be no Agco.
Gleaner is a big part of AGCO combine sales. It will become part of Massey soon. Still silver but called a harvesting solution by Massey Ferguson.
@@bigtractorpower so it won’t be called Gleaner? I’ve been hearing some of the big ups are trying to get rid of it.
@@Hinesfarm-Indianait will still be Gleaner and silver. It is now a harvesting product for Massey Ferguson dealer as the Massey Ferguson 9505 combines were retired in 2021. Still Gleaner, still silver but marketed as a Harvesting Solution by Massey Ferguson.

Not sure if the rumours are true in that regard but a Gleaner type combine, with its strange crossways drum concept has probably been stretched to its realistic maximum design capacity by now. It would really struggle to keep up with a twin rotor machine in terms of output.

Agco equipment is nicer than anything else out there it lasts, and there are still some parts out there for allis Chalmers tractors.
We have a MF 6180 hay tractor and even after running 6130r deeres I’d still take our MF over it. The only thing I don’t love about ours is its 2wd so it doesn’t ride the best.
