This is has been happening since March 22 and Bill Estes Chevy Indy still has not found the issue. In an Going to tell them to check these as it can back on yesterday and my FIXD check says this code was the solenoid valve! I have had a few of the repairs started…and still has the code. I asked the about this before I Got to 160,000 miles thanks for this calling the dealer now 🔥🔥🔥

Can a really bad oil pan leak cause this error also? I recently discovered a bad oil leak on bottle of engine amd now I get the reduced power error however I still have enough oil in the engine. Bad oil pan gasket??
The leak would cause a low oil, which also cause this.
For about two months I heard what to be a swooshy noise coming from my hood. Today I went to get an oil change and two days prior my check engine light came on. A random guy just told me that the oil possibly leaked out and auto zone gave me the same code
What is the part number for This code I been having this issue with my car for the last year and a half and took to multiply mechanics and no one could fix it. I will really appreciated it if you can provide me with the part number please.
I'm not sure, sorry. The owner of the car took ot and bought the part and replace at his house.

It's inside the engine. You have to drop the oil pan to get to it.
Hello, I have a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu LT 1.5L Turbo. Would you happen to know where the oil pump control solenoid valve and oil pressure sensor is ?

I beleive the valve is in the oil pan. The oil pressure sensor is likely higher on the engine block, behind either the starter or the A/C compressor. Literally the worst placement. GM engineers either have room temp IQs, or they have a genuine hatred for anyone that isn't a GM certified technician.
Had an aux battery do that in a 2015 malibu with same codes. Then found dealer has recall on solenoids during a deep dive into this system.

I have this code and no body worked on my car and I bought it 0 mileage. 2016 Chevy impala 4 cylinder. I changed all 5 sensors still no luck.

Reduced power engine is because of the accelerator pedal has to be replaced. These models of gmc has faults. If his car is under 10 years old which it is and has less than 150,000 miles. Chevy dealers has to fix for free, but I believe the code has to be p2138

@@DallasAutoDiag welcome and I believe if he made repairs he can get money back for it. But I’m not sure how he would have to go about it. Chevy didn’t want to put a recall out, so they put it in the special notification for repairs. I actually just bought my car and this happened. Kind of scary but thanks to a man on UA-cam I was able to get it fix for free. Any information needed to help another is awesome and I’m willing to spread it 🥰
I took mines to the dealership and they refused to replace my pedal. Although the problem is intermittent.
It is not an issue the the pedal, p06de sets the reduced engine power on the dash.

I have this same code and I have a bad brake vacuum pump. Now my car won’t accelerate and it had a big oil leak
