I was able to leave the original male high pressure out fitting and bought a female screw fitting from Lowes (less than $6.00) which screwed onto the original high pressure out fitting into which the high pressure hose fits: everything works brilliantly - no leaks at all and no need to buy anything else and definitely no need to rebore the thread. Great vid.. it looks like I see a oil valve with the new pump with yellow cap.. did you have to add oil.. also i have the same unit.. is oil required on the old pump if still good

If I recall correctly, the instructions said it was already oiled and no additional oil was needed.
