I first got into Dragon Ball Z when I was 6, and it blew me away. It was the first show I ever went out of my way to toon in every day or week (I hinestly don't remember) after school to watch. Then I started middle school and, while I did watch Kai on nicktoons, and I played the Raging Blast games, I was getting into other stuff. Fast foward to June 2012. I'm a 15 year old about to finish his freshman year of high school, and I just stumbled upon this video and I was like, "Oh yeah! Dragon Ball Z! This was a really cool show." I had also already become a fan of Metallica at that time. I spent the entire summer binging Dragon Ball. From OG to GT. I had never had so much fun watching something up until that point. And when I had time off from school on my Sophomore year, I would spend time learning about the lore, looking into fan theories, watching the DBZ movies. I even read bits of the manga. I had really cool conversations with people at school about Dragon Ball. Fast foward to 2014. I get a text from my friend telling me that Battle of Gods was out in theatres. It was a movie theatre packed to the brim with Dragon Ball fans. We were all going crazy during this movie. During Vegeta's bingo dance, every single person in the theatre was laughing. After the movie, I had conversations with complete strangers about Dragon Ball. It was a magical experience. Then, I started getting into other anime after high school. I still love anime. My favorite is Chainsaw Man, actually. I am still a Dragon Ball fan to this day. If there's a Dragon Ball movie coming out, you better believe I'm gonna be there. Dragon Ball shaped the person I am today, and I have Toriyama-sensei to thank for all of it. Goodbye, Toriyama sensei. Thank you for everything.
This song makes more sense now that im older. Anger is something ive always had to cope with. Dragonball z showed me that its okay to get angry and its okay to express it, but to always remember that you are its master and that if its all you got then youd better use it to succeed for a positive outcome.
Station Cruise it’s really not good to be angry, that’s when we have the least self control which can lead to us as humans to do some messed up stuff such as mass murderings and what not

Well I grew up in a cultish-religious home raised by parents with personality dissacociative disorders for more than two decades and there was a lot of anger that naturally came up because I always had to keep myself intact somehow and say fuck you to the brainwashing methods and narcissistic tactics. I only wanted to say my part because everyone's different and interprets things from varying degrees and perspectives wether a kid can sustain a metaphysical view or just enjoy a stupid show... I saw a lot of things become more meaningful for me because of the hard time I had growing up. Likewise vice versa. This is not a philosophy. I literally didn't mean to say a cringy sentiment romanticizing anger and behavior because that sucks... I was being honest and speaking my mind in the moment and I'm sure as the days go by things and ideas will change.
This was my introduction to Dragon ball over 15 years ago, surprised to learn that not many like this era of Metallica but this song and DBZ will always be permanently placed within my mind. R.I.P Akira Toriyama, pop culture wouldn't be the same without your presence.
