  • When looking for the adaptor rings just type 30-37 or 37-46 of whatever you camera needs in a search engine or online auction sites and look in the camera section.

A lot of shooters yrs back were fitting night camcorders to there guns, in the end it
got quite popular.. this is where 'nite site' grabbed the idea for there units, a camera &
screen split up!! selling for well over most peoples pockets at £600!!
Nice lady very good clear instruction! well done!

This was a great example of this type of NV rig. One thing I've always wondered about is why some people spend alot of time and effort to build their NV kits using board mounted CCTV cams and external screens. It doesn't get any cheaper and it doessent work any better and it's a lot more time consuming and costly than to buy a second hand camera like yours. Anyone?

It's probably the weight, snyper shoots from a cheer so it's not an issue for her.
Also the diy spirit is strong, and the possible versatility in the system (battery connections, etc.
I don't know for sure but Sony might be a lot better than those little cameras.

Hi, I subscribed to your channel a few days ago after watching some of your uploads, which are very good by the way, this last one of yours has helped me very much in deciding how and what to use as I am now about to start night shooting for the first time. Most people including myself are looking to budget the best we can in these trying economical times, and this way you have shown is much cheaper than dedicated night vision. A BIG thankyou to you for taking the time and trouble to do this Vid

Very good idea, I see you still have your HW100. Your videos are very informative. This system looks like it would work very nicely. Thank you for sharing, much appreciated. I'm on an economic slump, lay-offs, the worst! Remember my gun collection, well I've got it all selling now in the AD's to pay bills, boy that pains me:( But must be positive, and always have something to look forward to. If I land this one job, A HW100T FSB 22cal will have my name on it!! Take care, and hang in there too!!

love the channel, question on the video, what is the eye relief on the scope you are using and dose eye relief make a difference? seems that having the camera that close on a scope with a 4 inch eye relief may look funny? also does increasing the magnification of the scope require you to zoom in further?

    Здравствуйте Snypercat!

Hi Snypercat. Quick question if I may. Is this the same process for when you mount it to your mtc viper connect?
As my 37-46mm adapter ring seems to have alot of play when the handycam is mounted? seems as if the adapter ring does not mount easily to the rubber eye relief on the mtc when built up with tape.

Hi Snypercat, thanks very much for the swift reply, I am most grateful. I think asked the wrong thing. When you switch on your night shot mode is there any message that displays on the LCD screen? Mine says "nightshot mode" and I can get rid of it. The message is right where the crosshairs are and it make it difficult to see the rats! Does your Sony camera come up with thus same message at all? If it does can you turn it off at all? Thanks so much.
