This is probably my favorite YJ fight scene of all time- such a cool concept for the final confrontation, and the music and animation are both *chef’s kiss*

Lol Shiva even put her own sword down, I thought she was going for her famous one hit death punch/stab 🤣 Edit: I originally wanted more of a solo fight between Cass & Shiva but in the context of the show it definitely works. I just like the fact that nobody other than Cass was able to hit Shiva, as it should be. They don’t have anybody else there on her level. Shade helping was key, without him they all dead pretty much.

Why is nobody talking about how bloody powerful Shade is. We dont even know everything he is capable of for now in this universe, in some versions hes even stronger than Spectre. When the room was completely dark and he vanished, my first thought was *oh boy, you do not want to be in a completely dark room with him* youre as good as dead honestly, everyone could have died in that room if he wished it.
One thing I wanna mention is Onyx here. The shadows pawned her away and gave her every reason to wanna leave just because she wasn't a monster . The problem is they completely underestimate her at every turn . You straight up turned on a woman who seemingly must have been one of Ra's star pupils and a super heros granddaughter or at least they never really had a good sense of what she was capable of just that she isn't a good liar and doesn't like senseless murder . Hope She cuts off Cass's arm for real assuming that stomp didn't take her eye for real .
The creators want to continue it its just HBO Max has bought Young Justice's contract (as HBO has bought the streaming rights to most Warner Bros content) and they aren't renewing it so get people to watch this on HBO Max or all the work we did to get this back this first time will be for nothing
You know what I love about this fight? (Aside from the obvious) besides Black Spider every major participant here is a woman, yet the show never feels the need to address it or flaunt its feminism. It’s just show badass women be badass and I love that.
In season 3, Cheshire helped Shade get out from Mad Hatters control due to the mind chip thingy. He really did owe her one which is why it was sort of predictable he would help at some point.

Also if you want to get technical the best fighter in ALL of DC is a Legion of Super-Heroes character named Karate Kid who is a master of literally every form of martial arts ever created up to the 31st century.

Is a show for young audiences, in any case, every kid show back in the day had complex issues, violence moments and parody, and only when It had explicity sexual scenes, a too complex reference or delicate issue, and hardcore mutilations it was consided an adult show. Just because today people make trash TV shows for kids like If today kids were retard or could get traumatized for a bit of blood, doesn't make it normal or okay. Just look al the childhood of every kid in the 90's to around 2008, and you will see, today there are just a few shows that remains that serious.
I don't really remember how kid-friendly it was back then, but I just checked and apparently season 1 episode 1 aired in 2010. 11 years ago. It's possible it started out more tame, and evolved as the audience inevitably grew more mature. But jesus has time flew by.

That robot’s name is Rictus. This version is female. In the comics, Rictus is a member of the League of Assassins ( of shadows in the show)
