- I Interview Alexander Volkanovski in this episode of The Sonny Brown Breakdown Podcast. Alex is currently the UFC Featherweight champion and one of the first UFC Champions to originate from Australia. Alexander came from humble beginnings on the local scene, where he captured many regional titles and has now established himself as being ranked in the UFC men’s pound-for-pound rankings. Alexander Volkanovski trains at the Freestyle Fighting Gym under coach Joe Lopez, located in Windang, Wollongong, south of Sydney.
