There is so much to like with the Everdure 4k by Heston Blumenthal. Fist this kamado grill is crazy futuristic and is packed out with technology. Using wireless meat probes. Digital thermometers and fully integrated bluetooth controls. You can use your smart phone to track temperatures and use it for recipes, and it perfectly dials in your charcoal use, telling you exactly how much charcoal you need. Also the 4k has tremendous curb appeal. Coming in 4 different colors, this grill will look fantastic on your deck. Also grill comes with an automatic electric ignitor so there is no need for torches or fire starters. You also will get provided a pizza stone, and cast iron cooking grates!
Dont forget if your in the Denver Colorado Area, come down to our showroom and see this product for yourself.

Nice video mate, not many out there doing demo like this
Glad you liked it!
Interesting product....like the idea the cord retracts.
yeah its super cool, dont forget to subscribe!
This reminds me of Rosie the robot maid on the Jetsons
haha
it reminds me of the car Homer designed in the Simpsons.
The......Persephone!
haha
I kind of feel like this one would take all the fun out of things. I have a FireBoard 2 Drive, and with a Blower I can get the same sort of monitoring and control with it, but it doesn't start my fire for me and take all the fun out of it.
On a related note, I used to think this was expensive, then I discovered Komodo Kamado... and I want one of those so bad lol.
ha I am actually trying to get to get my hands on one for a video
Embers Fireplaces & Outdoor Living The problem is which one to get. Really the 23" Ultimate would do my family fine, but then I started looking at the 32" because it's really got two zones... Then I started thinking "if you're going to sink that much into a grill go big or go home" and looking at the 42".
@@praetorxyn The 32" is plenty big enough. I went from a KJ Big Joe to a 32" and there is so much more room. 42" is overkill in my book and I have a Lynx Pro 54" Gas grill lol
Rum and Cook Probably. But I like how much space you get on each zone if you divide the basket and do two zone cooking. Honestly I don't know if I'll spring for a KK at all, it's just so much money. I really should curb my tendency to always buy the best.
I have to put a new roof on the house this year, so any purchase won't be until next year anyway. I'll see what my finances look like after the roof and making my Roth IRA contribution for this tax year early next year.
@@praetorxyn I hear ya! Just don't forget the KK has 3 levels, you'd be surprised at just how much you can get on one. One thing to note, because it's so efficient, I often the basket splitter and only use 1/4 of it for lump, so I have 3/4 of indirect. There is no need to waste a level with the ceramic plates either. Pretty much anyone who buys one doesn't open them. I share your passion for the best. Just wanted to give you some extra input in case it saves you some money. Hope you can get one in the future!
Really hard to control the temperature for low and slow, reliability is questionable. Cannot be stored outdoors when not in use as the electrics get wet. On the plus side - Uses very little charcoal, fast ignition and looks great. Save your money buy a Primo or similar
Thanks for your opinion. We also love Primo
How is the heat retention compared to ceramic Kamados? What is it insulated with?
This is a steel model, It holds heat well, but the weather is nice right now. I would think the ceramics would do a little better in a colder climate
Embers Fireplaces & Outdoor Living I thought it was die cast aluminium?
@Tony Camaj I ended up acquiring one and yes it is aluminium, as the threads for the hinge screws wear very easily! Thankfully a fairly quick/easy fix with helicoils
@Tony Camaj does what move?
Looks awesome but it would be hard to fit a full brisket on it.
It’s about the same size as the classic joe Kamado. Which I do a full brisket in, but yeah it’s a little snug
Primo Oval XL baby!
Drape it over a meat rack of some sort.
I keep seeing in reviews the air intake keeps moving to the closed position on it own has anyone experienced this ?
I haven't seen that
yes - the top vent drops shut when you open the lid - too loose.
Reckon you could review a master built?
We have a review of the master built charcoal grill
@@embersliving oh you do to. Thanks 🤙🏾
That igniter looks like a 10 dollar electric stove burner. I feel as tho for the price that there are much better options.
lol
do you have any long-term / cooking experience on it meanwhile
nothing longterm just a few isolated cooks here at the store
@@embersliving still like it - I'm unable to find a reasonable number of good reviews?!
is it for sale in the USA yet?
yes! blazingembers.com/everdure-4k-mint/
Where does the dripping fat go?
there is a pull out ash drawer, that is the only removable spot
Is there any kind of grease trap?
no
Super modern = looks like a 60s set of drawers
haha true, but the 60's is when the modern look started
What cooking area of it pleaes
18"
@@embersliving what's the best digital thermometer BBQ
How much does it weigh?
that I am not sure
Green egg + meater ❤
The design is OK, but overall it's way too small. When people smoke, it's usually for a lot of people. My family alone is 4 kids, me and my wife. That's 6 people, without guests. And I agree with everyone else, it's way too expensive.
Oh man big family! Definitely need some more cooking room! Kinda hard to find in a Kamado Style grill unless you wanna drop some big Cash.
Very very cool but too expensive unless you cut a ton of money.
true
Oh sweet summer child. Look up the Komodo Kamado 42" Serious Big Bad.
Damn. This grill is classy asf.
haha
No not ready as the charcoal just started to burn. Always and only put meat 🥩 on when charcoal is red and white
ohhh nice!
It looks cool and it’s a good demonstration but it’s price let’s it down
agree
Would you buy it yourself though please- it’s not exactly cheap!
If I had room for it I would yes!

Thank you
Want wife to approve your grill purchase? More companies should sell their grills in this tiffany blueish color!
HA right! Thanks for watching!
Discontinued by Everdure.
whattt
No option for a rotisserie and small cooking space, nope. Lighting a Kamado is not that difficult. Is this made out of ceramic or metal? I know the base is metal. Kamados design point is to retain moisture natively. If they have to have a liquid cup, then this is not a true kamado.
good points
This seems like a Kamado with no purpose other than the design. At $2300 before shipping and taxes, this is ridiculous. It would need to be twice the size for the price to be justified.
that is true, it feels a bit small in there
need to work on camera angles
work in progress!
Blank Stare
ha
I know you don't listen to your wife you have a million barbecues on your decking it's very good but it does meed to be bigger IV got one 3 year in still looks like new
😅
What type of charcoal do you find works best in the everdure 4k for roasts like tritip and prime rib?
Cool looking but gimmicky. No thanks.
Appreciate the review though.
Fair enough!
So The Tesla in Kamadoland ...mmmm, I'm sceptic. For over 4000 years people cook on Ceramic Kamado's and now, because we can, we have to redesign this in a Steel/Alu box with App controlled features ? My opinion is that the fun of learning how to light & cook and control your kamado is a big part of the fun of outdoor cooking. I probably would feel pretty pathetic standing next to my outdoor grill and controlling it with my phone, there goes your masculinity.....
thanks for the feedback
You can't have a lot of masculinity to begin with if this would set it free.
Piece of crap if you would ask me… it is just a product that makes mr Blumenthal rich but he has to stay far far away from BBQ’s , yes he can cook very very wel but when you start to design and involve with products than the end is near… just buy a Big green egg of another kamado because it is just much much better that this steel stuff… this is a gadget not a working machine
I am starting to think so too
Not impressive with the looks at all
YEah, you either love it or hate it. Thanks for the feedback!
Five minutes passed and he didn't say anything useful about the grill yet. Talking Talking Talking...
Next
sorry you didnt enjoy
this guy is sad i wouldn't buy water for this fool
so sorry you didnt enjoy thanks for watching
