I remember when I was a kid wanted a gameboy but my dad can't afford to buy so they just buy me brick game
I’m sorry for your trauma
@@bigbowlowrong4694 are you Being sarcastic?
Complain how much you want! I loved this when I was a kid, and I order a new one now lol !❤
But at that time this device is heaven for those who didn't played Gameboy. I m from India this device is very popular at that time 1997-2003 because Gameboy is never ever came in my country so for me this product is nostalgia 😊😊😊
I lost mine...
@@IneedmoresubsOnline LMAO

Yup
hi E K...
'
iphone is much better than this cheap 9999 in 1 game
@@bestamerica at least the brick game console costs 2$ - 10$
@@albanianbatmapper3300 they still sell them where I live. You can get a new one for $0.99, 3 packs with 3 different colors for $1.50, or crate load worth of "rejected products" for $5 all in.
Yes mom, this is the gameboy i always wanted...thanks mom...love you. *cries in my room with 4 other bricks that they've bought me before*
I remember my grandma having one of these in the 90's. I was surprised since the only other game I ever saw her play was Windows 95 Solitare
To much nostalgia Brick Game
My grandma too plays solitaire on the mini laptop where i play PVZ
Remember my parents giving me this because they didn't want to give me a ds lite... 😑
Lol, that must've been dissapointing.
I got an Atari 7800, because my parents didn't want to get a NES... :-/
My parents gave me one and I smashed it because I didn't get the thing that I want. I think it was a Power Rangers Dino Morpher I think.
@@akaiyui9300 :-O
Isn't it better
This is the poorman's way to survive of video games
Bad English, boy.
This is the the poor man's Game Boy. Though better than Tiger games because Brick Games has a lot of games in one handheld.
4:10 was my jam as a kid.
This was so popular in the 90s. I remember at one point almost every kid on the bus had one when we went on school trips. There were some special deals where you bough a washing detergent and this came with it, Oh the 90s
I remember this. So much fun. Took it to Mexico and my uncles all got drunk and beat all the levels.
Watching this while playing with my brick game.
These were great. They were cheap, so not the end of the world if it gets damaged or lost. The batteries lasted for ever (as it was a low power LCD device). And lots of playable games, Tetris, Breakout, Frogger, Snake, a basic racing game, tank game, space invaders type game and more, and unlike mobile phones the screen is clear in bright sunshine (again due to the LCD). And finally (unlike some toys) you can turn the sound off !
As someone from a 3rd World country, this was heaven for me. That The console was affordable and it uses extremely low amount of electricity. The console runs perfectly on batteries that have been discarded from other electronics which meant that I would have plenty of batteries 😅. When I look back at my childhood, this console has to be highlighted. I loved it so much that I bought a new one to keep for memories
nostalgia
I found one of these today. It's the same thing except it's beige and has the more modest claim of being only "1997 in 1".
the sound of that game makes me shivering nice days are gone
"you would never visit again"? ohhh I would love to visit it and NES again and play...sadly I forgot where I put mine when we moved houses.
:(
I bought a bunch of this for a dollar each and gave them away to friends on our xmas party. They're more excited with the brickgame versus the other more expensive gifts they've received. lol
Ahh these sounds, shapes made of square, these games, beautiful memories, very nostalgia!😭❤
Just bought today one of these in a nearby toy stand , it's blue , and on top instead of " huge lcd " it says " super "
It's a fun handheld with simple but timeless games.
They are outdated and all, but at least they have buttons. Gaming on touchscreens is, with rare exceptions, a pain in the ass. You can play casual games, but if you want to play tough, fast-paced games that require pixel-perfect controls, buttons are required.
Childhood nostalgia 😍
The main disadvantage of that brick game E-9999 in 1 is not increasing the speed with scores automatically so it is a classic design casing just like brick game consoles from the 90's (ex. Brick Game 2 in 1). Unlike modern brick game consoles, all retro brick game consoles (classic design or other design casing) can increase the speed with scores automatically.
To me it's the most common bootleg system in the world. I saw it multiple times in various cheap mini-shops.
Funnily enough, I've heard there were, at one point, models of the brick game that had a backlight, or just a little light outside. I haven´t seen one so I can´t confirm, but I've been searching for one for a long time.
Those who are born in the new era will just continue to mock this piece of art of a handheld console. I used to compete with my uncle(the brick game was his) on the racing game while I keep pressing the speed button on starting levels. I used to play a brick game together with my Jurassic Park Game & Watch and my own Gameboy console.
I rmember this as a kid, always loved the tank and the racing game. Thesz kinds of stuff were cheap so every kid can play them. They died when the gba started to become the next craze tho
Thank you buddy.
Amazing review
This went right to the core of everything, i do remember it. I just havent taken the time to search it up.
I have a problem with my brick game. For some reason no other AA type bateries work with it.only the icluded ones work and they are not chargable...
Bought alot of different brands of AA bateries and none of them work
I loved that brick game when I was a kid!
Is there any way of extracting the "rom" of that system, so it could be emulated?
I and my brothers had so many of these in every colour imaginable as a kid lmao. They kept breaking after a few months.
'
i have one new big LCD screen with blue plastic case...
1- problem is NO white backup light inside the screen while play at night
Still have mine, give cheap a decade and it becomes Retro. lol
I could die for this when I was kid😂
in Argentina you can get one of those brand new for about 5 dollars... i think that might work for childs between 4 and 6 maybe 7 years old...
Transmite, TELEFE
LS84 Canal 11
B.S, Argentina
(Your from Argentina Right?)
Omg when I was a kid I was so happy when I got this. My favorite game was tank. I got my first brick game from my grand father as a gift when I was about 4 Years old.
i have a brick game but there are only about 20 games and no ABC's on the top but mine it turned into like that then i accidently pressed reset button and its gone...
Crazy enough they still sell these but In a new shell and it’s 5000 instead of 9999 and has some different games!
I'm pretty sure I had this. It seems to match what I remember with the blocky LCD screen, but for some reason I also remember fruit icons so I'm not 100% sure.
Say what you want about the quality of this thing, but I doubt I'm the only person, who got introduced to the concept of videogames this way. Toddler me had no idea what any of the buttons did or what the rules were, she just enjoyed playing with it.
I have one that is 25 years old and it still works! It has only 12 games :I
What's the jazzy song playing in the background?
Remember getting one from my parents when i was with my grandparents
Some brick games were made of better quality plastic and LCD screen, and some are made of worse materials. I still have a brick game I bought in 2021, but had multiple of them when I was a kindergartener back in 2007-2010. I remember them having better quality than the one in this video and the one I have
I played the heck outta of this handheld.
Hello all, do you remember another variant like O letter and point inside the o letter and brackets to the O letter. The O letter or shape like symbols were also crashing like cross ways.
These were really fun to play
Nostalgia hitted me with this handheld device, because neither my parents nor me didn't know anything about console, and laptop (a.k.a portable PC or notebook) were expensive. I just have a basic PC back then and I buy this because it was cheap and portable.
I only got laptop and PS2, the only console I ever have, after graduate from basic school. Good times.
Laptop and PCs are Expensive back in the days and not that so compact..Unlike now there's smarthphone
Brick game share a part of my childhood and my classmates elementary memo
Holy heck, I still have this!
SAME
I have a blue one, and it says 'SUPER' on the top. It's screen kinda looks like this upon starting.
9
9
9
9
I actually managed it to say 118 on the startup screen once, but I don't know how.
The display kinda looked like this.
1
1
8
The games are labeled with numbers instead of letters.
That's about it.
EDIT: I actually really like it!
My childhood
great video, you should do more of these gadgets reviews :D
Will do if I find anything interesting :)
i used to think is there a way to create a game for brick game
This is my childhood
I remember doing that as a kid, Great times! 0:48
I own several when I was a kid too. They unfortunately don't last long.
Formely i have a Brick Game but now its hidden in my attic
that was my first device, and I have the back one
Tank one was my favorite
I had one of those when I was kid, my first gaming experience was with one of those devices, before playing Super Mario World and being blown away. It is, of course a cheap and shitty device, but I actually think the games are pretty interesting and fun.
How do you switc that
what is this song name?
My fucking childhood frustration
This was pretty much the same situation with parents not wanting to spend too much on the nintendo gameboy , and instead buying this to their kid
They were like " oh come on don't cry it almost looks like the gameboy
Mine is gray and is also super , but the controls are different and the games are different
I wish I still had my one but I threw it out when I was younger because I didn’t get how to work it.
B o i
How to change the games?
Just click that big button
I remember having it as a kid, Can anyone tell me what the name of this console is ?
Brick Game 9999 in 1.
i used to have that! i miss those!
What does 9999 in 1 mean ?
I had a dark blue one
for somehow mine is not the A B C game its 1 2 3 and alots of game it not have :((
I probably have a rare variant, a licensed version by chaotonic (some chocolate milk powder, i think its international). I havent seen a single video about it online, but its pretty much the same except it uses the tetris theme and an older version (judging by the lack of the rotating letters.
You should post a video about it if you still have it, I'm intrigued about your console.
piluex2 not here though, maybe on vidlii, really not a fan of youtube.
I don´t care if you upload it to another site, I just really wanna se your console, these brick game consoles have a shit ton of variants, so any weird one is exciting, I've even heard at some point, a model with a backlight or frontlight existed.
piluex2 alrightz prepare yourself for some chinese plastic.
I've never been so hyped about a piece of cheap chinese plastic before.
Name the song please
Bruh I am a kid and I love dis man
How to back when a game is playing without pressing Reset
that cool.i have a brick game too.and also the video is good
I remember trying to play every game on this but it broke :(

Why is there a bend in the middle?
Probably they thought it's a good place to rest your fingers on the back?
I want to get one!
I feel old

In my contury its about 1 dollar
I got one for my birthday when I was like 10
Your battery was low, that's why it was hard to see,
I remember this shit when I was a kid when I don't have money for Game Boy at that time!
I found brick game 9999 in 1 today
