Intelligent and privileged diasporans have been doning that since early 2000s,some that don't have the money do claim that's a bad idea tho,we all kn that the situation in Nigeria has sadly deterioted but it's better let them do at least to secondary school level in a good school back home b4 bringing them,so that they can at least learn some manners and regards for their parents at least,so these guys are on point 100%

This is for the first speaker . Wait until U have children so You will be in beter place to speak.
Who will then train your children. You have to be presence for your children. Put in the work. Show good example . Is more likely the will do well.

This guy is generalising also the way he's talking on top of his voice. Of course. The child behaviour won't be far from his. My nephews are 13, 15, and 20 years old now. They have respect. They call me Aunty Bee. They call my friend Ms Imada. Or Ms Harriet. Train up your child. Also, teach them in the Lords way. Pray together morning and evening. Show them love and respect them, too. Watch and see the results if it won't blossom. I see a lot of African kids calling a grown-up by their names. Not in my family sorry

The Nigeria today is not the Nigeria of yesterday. Children are wayward too in Nigeria. Most of the Nigerian children do not have respect too. God give us good children that will give us peace

Nonsense talk, it is a country that train your child? Or you as a parent have the right to give your child the right training not your parents? Why are you a parent? Have you forgotten charity begins at home?

There are many Nigerians who came or travelled to work abroad. They always say they can't live in abroad with their children and wife.
They eventually messing up with other Nigerian or white women instead of staying and living with tgeur children and wife wge5e they loved abroad.
Sending the children back to Nigerua without fatherly care in conjuction with theurcwife would probably make the life of those children worst in future.
Nigerian and abroad have different cultures, and you can't import or export both cultures.
It is more advisable for bith wife and husband to raise their children together, not sending those children to grandmother in Nigeria to raise those children on their behalf.

@@RichSoMed6973 you know what, people who can't integrate with the new place they find themselves say all these nonsense, whether home or abroad parents need time with their children that is the only way a child can be given the right training, unfortunately when they got abroad both parents will pursue money and forget the main objective is the child and goes around to blame the country. What a stupid mindset!

I don't know what type of parents these groups of people are 🙄 is it not the same abroad we have lived for almost 19 years? I have 2 kids aged almost 19 and 14 years old. They never fir once raised their hands, not to talk of responding in a rude manner. They will express their feelings obviously and we the parents should learn to listen to them
And that's what we Nigerians' parents lack

@@JanetAnaukwu I'm staying in Europe for 26 years now with two boys 23 and 16 years respectively even when I raised my voice rudely as an African woman, my two sons never ever raise their head and they know what is expected of them when they step their feet out. These people have a narrow mentality and think money is everything

These types of parents have questionable agendas. Sending children back exposes them to abuse. Change of mindset and moving to good areas helps.

Most people won't accept these talks because majority see abroad as heaven without worrying about all the consequences (seen and the unseen). But the reality is that a real man will balance the 2. Whether you like it or not, you can argue the matter from here to Jupiter, I will advise you to make sure your children have the Naija touch. The toughest part is the senior level in High School. That's when your child becomes fully formed. If you mess that level up, particularly abroad? That's the end.

This is to the first caller. I stand to be corrected, sending your kids to your mama to train, show say that parent don fail. I Dey US too n i get Pikin wey Dey well behaved. As a parent, na your duty to show dem d right way from home so when they go out there, they already know right from wrong. Also, the type of community u chose to live plays a vital role. If you raise your kids for hood, you already know what you’re gonna get. I say all that to say, taking your kids to NAija no be d solution, i feel say that na lazy way of parenting. There are bad kids everywhere n that g*y talk wey you dey protect them from for US is also big in naija.
