nice video dude! sorta using this as a shortcut guide for the hardcore trophies, and good work on C(r)unt! Took me about 6 attempts to beat him at level 4 not including all the previous mission fails because i couldn't assist the fellas fighting due to going for the merciful trophy. Such a relieving feeling when youre fighting Runt and the cut scene starts to load and you realise youve beat him :P (Y)
I watched your other speedrun of the normal game and it was amazing this was the very same

That helped me a lot on getting hardcore (all negative perks) and merciful (yes) achievements :)
This is super impressive, I just got into the game a few months ago. Looking forward to beating the game and starting my first hardcore playthrough. With my luck I'd sleepwalk everytime I slept lol

Adrian Reid Still not fixed. I finished the game with all 9 negative perks and they wont give me the achievement.

Just beat KCD on Hardcore Mode with all negative perks for the first time! Thanks for your help, man. Got lost a fair few times but no worries. Baptism of Fire was a bit of a pain in the ass. Took a few tries to get the whole thing in one go but beat Runt on my second try by stagger locking him with arrows. I'll have to stop by your stream sometime. Do you have a set schedule or just whenever you feel like it?
I don't usually stream frequently, and I'm currently working on other things than KC:D
Fml.. finished the main story line on hardcore with all negative perks as well as merciful... but because I already downloaded Hans capons dlc i now need to complete that (again) before I can get my trophies... smh...
Huh, I don't think that's supposed to stop you from getting achievements / trophies. I just don't really care about them after they botched the 'Tis but a Scratch originally
Denhonator I'm at the stage where Hans is waiting at the camp to ride off with you into the sunset, buuut he tells me "blah blah blah I need to go fuck this one chick before we leave be my wingman" and the only dialogue option to progress anywhere is to agree thus starting the dlc quest... Watching other replays it would appear that the trophies pop once you trigger the final cut scene of the original ending, I'd be very disappointed if the trophies were bugged again after what I just went through to get them
I'm gonna speed run the dlc to try to get the trophies but if the dlc has somehow locked me out of getting my well earned hardcore trophies....
Oh I see, it forces you to complete the dlc there. Well I heard it's not long, I've been too busy to get around trying it though. Might want to see if it'd be fun to go through in a run
L C ahaha mate that just happened to me today. Went to the last bit and Hans is like “Katarina is a Goddess blah blah blah”.. just went back to Rattay/Ledetchko to do it and luckily was still able to finish the game, albeit Hans trotted slowly to the end bit and took him ten minutes.. smh

man that is insane I get so lost I swore I spent like an hour going to where the Ginger is doesn't help I never played past the ginger mission on normal but besides the map thing I find hardcore more fun
Same. I dont get what the challenge of not knowing where you are in the map is. I think it's more of a BS mechanic rather than an actual fair challenge.

It turns out, it isn't a crime to punch chickens. Therefore chickens = free food

Sir, what do you do to avoid ambushes? I feel like I face ambushes on every single road on HC mode. And you just cruised basically the entire map without facing bandits or cumans along the way!
There are only certain spots on the map where you can be ambushed. Essentially, the same spots where you can get ambushed when fast traveling on normal mode. Also luck.
much easier without fast travel, was much more a pain in normal mode

2:22:50 look at how that scythe takes multiple blows to kill someone. I love the game but sometimes the combat feels very unbalanced!
It is hardcore mode though. But I agree that sometimes the combat isn’t balanced.
he's fighting when he got blue screen (exhausted) try swing it with force of a kid and it won't kill people easily irl either the damage was drastically reduce when you're exhausted in this game

What's the purpose of doing the fight club quest? Is the scythe already on the ground and are you killing them or just knocking them out?
You have to select one of few tasks to gain info about the bandits, which lets you progress. I pick up the polearm back in Rattay and glitch it into my inventory by entering training with Bernard. The dudes only get knocked out because that section is scripted such that they don't die, even when using lethal weapons

@@denhonator2773 Really? The bench you sat on is in a different position for me. I assume that's how you forced the game to not lock you in position. Could be wrong though. I'm on PlayStation using the Royal Edition btw, if that matters. Oh well, I'm not going for speed so much as I'm just trying to beat the game on hardcore mode for the trophies, so I'm just using Pebbles instead of buying that expensive horse you bought with the Noble Horseshoes and whatnot. I'm up to Nest of Vipers now, using this video to help me with getting from place to place without getting lost mostly. Hasn't been easy but I'm getting there.

I like figuring out routes and strats, and the game was new so I could start fresh. Of course, also because I liked the game

There's a console command that allows automatically, instantly skipping through dialog

6m09 Where are the nails, axe, fresh wine pitcher ? You are a dev or a cheater because those objects are required to continue the quest and trigger the cutscene with cumans.
Plus how come you can choose the dialog option that fast ? With something that autoclicks or a dev/cheat tool.
Try doing what I did and you'll notice they are not required lol. Dialog goes fast because the speedruns allow wh_dlg_AutoSkip = 1
