I had seen Bob Ross so many times, and always wanted to follow along and do a painting with him, but never had the right supplies. People don’t realize that when he’s speaking to you he is nearly always telling how you should lead you’re life, peaceful and happy with happy little accidents 😇
I never appreciate him until I’ve turned a certain age… how I appreciate his peaceful joyous tone of voice… the calmness effects he has on me. There doesn’t seem to be an ounce of mean bone on this man. What a wonderful wonderful human being….. you are forever missed mr. Bob Ross….
I realize this is very much a non-sequiter, and I do not intend to cause offense, but the phrasing of the first sentence here is just a little bit off; it implies that OP has not appreciated Bob Ross until a certain age multiple times, and now I just have the image of someone getting reincarnated or whatever, struggling with memories of past lives, and coming to terms with it with the help if these videos.
I always like his cozy winter and clearing scenes over the really grandiose ones. Any painting he puts a cabin in tends to be one I love, because I just imagine how nice it would be to visit a cabin in a painting that beautiful and cozy.
Imagine his paintings today. Hed be the only one still on tv still never to be cancelled or tire of. His creations were unlimited. Fortunately he's up running around in the beautiful landscapes he's created
I hate the cold and snow myself, but love watching Bob creating winter scenes. Just that little touch of yellow in the cabin's windows makes it feel so cozy!
my life isn't very good and most of the times im stressed but watching his videos makes me feel like im 12 again, when the only worry in the world was to be able to finish painting before bed so I can enjoy sleep with peace, back in the days I used to paint and do a lot of creative work, now these days it's just stress and issues, it's people like Bob Ross that make me happy and make me feel like there WILL come a good time :) love you Bob Ross I hope u read this from heaven and feel proud
@Gabriella with Covers and Stuff I hear ya. Know that you are not alone. There many people that have traveled the road you are on right now. Some never get off it, but most do. Things will improve and it all begins with you. You have the strength to not let others bring you down and take you to their space. You go to where you want to go, even if its only in your mind right now, it wont be long before you can make the decisions that will get you where you really want to be. Hang in there and keep watching Bob too. Also...if you like him search for the guy he learned how to paint from, Bill Alexander, he's fantastic too.
This video is the first time I've ever seen Bob Ross. I had no idea who he was until today. I've always wanted to learn how to paint, but never pursued it. I couldn't take my eyes off my screen for the whole runtime. ❤️
I love bob Ross he was such a great teacher. I learnt to paint watching him. I have a condition that renders me unable to move some days because of pain in my spine. So one day I was looking threw sky TV trying to find something to watch and kept coming across a programme that just said the joy of pain, I thought how can anyone get enjoyment from pain, ( unless your that way inclined ) anyway eventually I thought I'd watch it just out of curiosity. It opened up a whole new world for me. And I've never looked back. Thank you bob I look to the sky and think your up there still painting clouds. X
There’s just something so peaceful about him,I spent the entire day angry and confused and then I watched him for 26 minutes and 49 seconds and his gentle voice that calmly lifted away all my worries
From Wikipedia... Having held military positions that required him to act tough and mean, "the guy who makes you scrub the latrine, the guy who makes you make your bed, the guy who screams at you for being late to work", Ross decided he would not raise his voice when he left the military.
Sounds weird probably.. But, the past week I listen to a few of Bob's videos, drink some beer and relax. Then off to bed. A true iconic legend. Respectable, honorable military man and an amazing artist. The way he leads you through the painting is so elegant and peaceful. Who could ever hate Bob?! So gentle and badass at the same time. Happy side of UA-cam lol.

I highly doubt anyone would ever yell to Bob Ross for doing the paintings longer than usual. I mean, who the hell isn't mesmerized by the magic on screen.
I'm kind of working through examples of the seasons, but I noticed in the third season episodes he was looking to the side a lot, and I'm assuming he was watching the clock.
I remember this when it was on as a rerun when I was little. I was upset about something, late, late at night. For the life of me, I couldn't tell you what upset me, but I remember that cabin, and watching Bob Ross paint it, just like magic. It made me feel comfortable, cozy. My throat hurts from laughing.. lol
People don’t realize that when he’s speaking to you he is nearly always telling how you should lead you’re life, peaceful and happy with happy little accidents 😇
His voice is so calming and mellow.
What a treasure he was.
I remember watching Bob Ross create his art on early weekend mornings. I’m 73 ❤
Adrian Smith fuck yes bitch
I know this is two years later but yes. I’ve watched all his videos but the winter scenes are my favorite.
That was a beautiful painting. I could almost hear "Christmas time is here" to that painting. Fits the vibe well, IMO.
Agree 200%
Imagine his paintings today. Hed be the only one still on tv still never to be cancelled or tire of. His creations were unlimited. Fortunately he's up running around in the beautiful landscapes he's created
Mr. Bob Ross...literally, the only person I could watch and listen to all day. Rest in peace, sir. 🙏🏾😔
This video was uploaded 8 years ago yet we’re still here enjoying this man paint these beautiful masterpieces, I love it
😊 yes we all miss him 😢
Can you imagine Bob Ross and Mr. Rogers having coffee and chatting?
My mind cannot comprehend events or possibilities of boundless significance, so probably not.
That sounds so pleasant. They'd probably be friends and go hiking in nature or something, maybe they were friends and we just don't know
With Elon but he does a relaxing voice because he sticks with it
Toss Bill nye in there and it’ll get even more perfect
Add Jim Henson
It’s marvellous how he uses cold colours. That sky is brilliant.
And he uses brushes I use to paint my house. If only my house looked as good as his paintings...
I love Bob's voice and accent - so gorgeous in a masculine way.
@Bread Sandwich yes
I hate the cold and snow myself, but love watching Bob creating winter scenes. Just that little touch of yellow in the cabin's windows makes it feel so cozy!
only man ever to paint successfully in a white shirt.
Excellent ! ! !
Also the only white man ever able to pull off a afro
W onderful
Panting
Titanium White shirt
@@anchovyacquirer yep a hippy from the 60s. Can't imagine what Bob wore/ or if he had his afro 2 like Woodstock😁😁😁
my life isn't very good and most of the times im stressed but watching his videos makes me feel like im 12 again, when the only worry in the world was to be able to finish painting before bed so I can enjoy sleep with peace, back in the days I used to paint and do a lot of creative work, now these days it's just stress and issues, it's people like Bob Ross that make me happy and make me feel like there WILL come a good time :)
love you Bob Ross I hope u read this from heaven and feel proud
I used to draw all the time and want to be an artist. Thia helps motivate
Hope you feel better
@Gabriella with Covers and Stuff I literally know EXACTLY HOW THAT FEELS you'll have better days trust me
Alex asmr
Try painting again. Might help relieve your stress. 😊✌🙏
Bob Ross was, and is an artistic legend!! Greatly missed!! Joy is what he brought to so many!! Rest In Peace dear Bob!! 😍😍😍😍
Ironically, the show brings joy from the exact opposite of pain.
There’s just something so peaceful about him,I spent the entire day angry and confused and then I watched him for 26 minutes and 49 seconds and his gentle voice that calmly lifted away all my worries
I agree so much
So soothing. His voice helps me with my panic attacks. I love watching him work his magic!
From Wikipedia...
Having held military positions that required him to act tough and mean, "the guy who makes you scrub the latrine, the guy who makes you make your bed, the guy who screams at you for being late to work", Ross decided he would not raise his voice when he left the military.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😂
What a man he was. Not just a good artist, but a wonderful human being.
+Tanner Fry He was one of the good guys. Bob helps me sleep sometimes also, when need be! Just be careful with the beer getting you to sleep my friend!
Tanner Fry qqqAA
Yes sir ain't that the Gods honest truth👍
Doin the same thing when i read you're comment, lol!
Tanner Fry I watch at least one of his episodes every night before I go to bed it’s the most relaxing thing on this planet
His voice is soo soothing, i always fall asleep listening to him talking.
Same ❤️
Aidan Sullivan Ozzy?
Me too
Aidan Sullivan i would if my mum would let me... 😭
I always loved watching him paint..
What a master at relaying the information to others in such a way that gives self esteem to those who would not ever have had a chance to express thier ideas on canvas.Thank you so much for inspiring so many including me to dive into the unknown of the art world.
Bob Ross is truly missed, his work is truly a work of art, we've had a lot of artists over the years and centuries and now he has joined all the greats, he has taken his place in history. We all (the world) will always miss you!!
I wish that Bob Ross, was still with us_ making us happy.
Nothing more relaxing than watching Bob Ross paint.
I love it when he paints little cabins. The soothing and calming tone of his voice as he describes painting the cabin, along with watching him paint it, makes you feel like you’re all bundled up, nice and cozy, in the cabin. Truly a legend, thank you Mr. Ross, and enjoy heaven. You definitely deserve to. 🥲
I love when Bob Ross says "Its your world, so if thats where you see a limb, thats where its at." It inspired so many people to be creative and to not follow rules
I thank God for Bob. He literally was an instrument to get back into creating again. His voice, his positive attitude, and easy tutorials made me start my own art journey. 🎨😄
Hi Fernandez 👋 I hope my comment didn't sound as a form of privacy invasion your comment tells of a wonderful woman with a beautiful heart which led me to comment I don't normally write in the comment section but I think you deserve this complement. If you don’t mind can we be friends? Thanks God bless you….🌹🌹🌹🌹
I love Bob Ross! The world needs more like him.
RIP Bob Ross... you are cherished and missed
always astounded by the talent in such a short period of time. the true definition of asmr, Bob is truly an incredible and talented man. one for the books with warhol banksy and picasso. we miss you everyday Mr Ross always enjoy watching your underrated work
I grew up watching him. I love that he only used a few brushes and basic colors. His goal was to make painting easy for anyone ❤
There’s something so satisfying about the sound of the paint knife. Using one while painting is fun too
when he is using the knife it's not even like he is painting, it looks like he is uncovering something that was already there.
Un italiano sotto un video di Bob Ross salve
@@simonediliberto4314 ossequi, vedo che anche lei è un intenditore!

I agree excellent remark
FUCK AND IN 28 freakin minutes?!! Jesus lol
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I loved his line, we don't make mistakes; we have happy accidents.
Watching Bob Ross paint is inspiring. An amazing artist, RIP.
I never tire of watching Bob Ross paint and listen to him talk as he paints. He was and continues to be such a blessing. Rest in peace Mr. Ross.
I highly doubt anyone would ever yell to Bob Ross for doing the paintings longer than usual. I mean, who the hell isn't mesmerized by the magic on screen.
Milko Aritonoski cursed airtime schedules.
I'm kind of working through examples of the seasons, but I noticed in the third season episodes he was looking to the side a lot, and I'm assuming he was watching the clock.
John I have heard him say only 26 minutes, so he might of been doing just that!
He even mentions in this episode that he needs to hurry or else he’ll get kicked off the studio
I remember this when it was on as a rerun when I was little. I was upset about something, late, late at night. For the life of me, I couldn't tell you what upset me, but I remember that cabin, and watching Bob Ross paint it, just like magic. It made me feel comfortable, cozy. I'm glad I was born in a time where I could be influenced by Bob Ross.
Watched this show as a child and even at 39 it’s still very calming and as entertaining as ever. Long live Bob Ross.
I'm having such a terrible horrible time in my life, and there was always Bob Ross there with his gentle encouraging voice and beautiful art. Thank you Bob. Your patients with us is so appreciated.
His videos are like therapy for me.
What a special soul.
I am grateful he was once here.
Every time I feel anxious, have panic attacks, I come here. Bob Ross has something about him that it’s just pure good, a guy that truly spreads joy in each one of his videos, I wish I could thank him and be more like him
Bob Ross!.....The most relaxing human being to ever live.
I love when Bob "gets a little crazy" and paints in those bold, foreground trees. So cool
Chaun Ralls Oh I love when he says now is get a little crazy that’s so funny
I have been so tired, so depressed. My meantal Heath has been crubling. I can barely function as a human anymore. even my friends have left...but then there's bob ross, he's always here and always gives me a reason to keep going. I always have a place in the world, always feel safe when I watch his videos. So thank you
How are you now?
Have you been painting?
You there bro?
I've been struggling with my mental health too.
But, I'm here for you, and I'm your friend.
Artistic master, not only painting but the deeper art creating beautiful, lasting relaxation. The older I get the more I love Bob. Rest in peace.
I will put him on the list of the greatest artist to ever live on this planet. Just god level stuff.❤

He is the best one of a kind man . Rip Bob Ross .
Bob’s winter scenes were always my favorite parts of his work. I wish that he were still alive and painting today. I’m sure he would be just as popular, if not more so, in 2018 as he was in 1984.
i literally love watching bob ross🤧 he’s so positive and calming
The late great
Bob Ross was a masterpiece/masterclass of an extraordinary artist, humanitarian and a man amongst men!
Creative, painting, drawing/sketching awesomeness!
I use to watch this show everyday..i love his paintings and his love for nature and the world. Such a humble person. R.I.P
