- Heres my install and tune of a fitech 35205 force fuel efi on my c10 truck its got a sbc 350 with probably 10-11:1 compression a big cam and headers will it run will it drive better than the carb watch and find out
what are the odds. I saw the thumbnail and was like “hey I have those valve covers, and that small air cleaner, and that same color fitech system, and those red plug wires, and the jegs sticker on the ac box delete, and the firewall is the same faded red color…. wait this has got to be my truck!! Turns out it is lol. This is the truck I bought from this same guy! Crazy to see how the truck I bought was put together. I love driving this truck, still runs great. Pass side fuel tank issue still hasn’t been addressed lmao.
That's amazing you should make a video on it
What are the damn chances 🤣! That’s badass man! Hope she stays running strong for ya!
What a sweet little C10. Nice!
I am contemplating a kit like this one. Thanks for the video!!!
Suggestion, ....braided steel fuel line would be best.
I definitely want to do this if I ever have 2k laying around to burn. I went with the Holley brawler and threw the edelbreak on the bench. I have never had one work right. The Holley is way easier to use. 750 on a 350 big cam lots of compression should be at 400hp.
linkage, that's why EFI is so much better than carb's
Great video man🤘🏼🤘🏼
Does that throttle body correct idle when electric fans and compressor is running?
Great video! What AN fitting did you use to go into the back of the EFI?
Also the heads aren’t speedmaster, they’re a AFR/Dart/summit racing casting that’s unbadged
Thanks sir what im going to next in my build 😜
Nice work. Curious to see how the fuel economy differs between efi and carb
They should be the same if the carb was properly tuned.
@@johnsnow1355 I have done some of these TBI systems on a bunch of friends cars, and tuned them. Carbs will not give the same mileage. The ability to tune at various part throttle positions completely changes how they use fuel. At wide open and idle, very similar, but not in the mid range situations. And no, not because I can't tune carbs. I can tune everything from a normal Holley or Edelbrock to a sextet of Weber DCS 40's on a Ferrari 250. Carbs simply do not offer the tuning parameters of EFI.
Nice work… Really…. Guess some people are easily impressed by complete hackery, meaning the entire truck. Amazing it runs at all.
No fair, I blew beer out of my nose with the "professional" radiator jiggle
How's the truck running with that efi on it now? If still owned
What about your PVC hose. Does help.🧐
Aces Killshot is 860$ and is amazing
A vapor canister?
I have about the same motor, where did tuning numbers end up after you've driven around
Any updates
Can i use this on my small block 305 Chevy Caprice??
I have 7 friends who tried the FiTech and Holley Sniper fuel injection systems and none of them ever worked correctly. They all went back to carburetors. Not worth the hassle or $$.
How does the transmission tie into it?..I wanna buy one but not sure where my transmission clutch solenoid goes?...wasnt sure if my transmission would still work..Thanks for any info
I dont think this one tied into the transmission i just used a tv cable it does have a vacuum port for a transmission as well fitech does have several other options so maybe one of the other ones has transmission control capabilities
Thinking about getting one of these for an RV build I'm doing. Where did you mount the O2 sensor?
I mounted it about 3 feet down the exhaust systemone one bank of the engine it worked great they say it better to have both sides of the engine’s exhaust tie into the o2 sensor but it seemed ok
Evap canister or charcoal canister. One of the two 😂
Truck had to take a leak😂
What was the mpg difference n power is it faster now
I was getting 10 mpg on the carburetor average while being conservative on the throttle with the fitech i can get 15 mpg driving hard for n it i sold the truck but the current owner drives it every day he told me he gets 17mpg so much better power wise it was fantastic it felt stronger also it removed the off idle stumble it had with the carb!
@@SpeedSpecterthe off idle stumble was just a tuning issue
How is it so far?
I actually bought this truck last august! It still runs beautifully. The fitech system is top notch. I’m shocked right now I just found this video😂 I get to watch how my truck was put together.
@@RegulerShowTV haha 😂…glad the fi tech is still working for you
"Simplexity"
Fuel leak oh nooo
Shit I wish my 95 got 18 mpg 🤣
I have to be honest. If you worked on your truck after seeing a black widow, and didn't spray down the entire bay to get rid of any you cannot see. . You're nuts. I'd have to fumigate the entire car first. Yikes 😬
👍👍
