The Baroque music has a healing effect, and is a panacea for the soul I am glad there are many people who love the Baroque music . There will be no national differences in the taste of the music . From Tokyo in the dizzying megalopolis ablaze with neon
I was having a hard time writing for my job with my kids distracting me (no duh). As a last resort I put on your playlist and was able to focus IMMEDIATELY on my task. Thank you for making this beautiful and powerful music so easily accessible.
I agree with the main post; this has lifted my mood this afternoon. The baroque music integrates human consciousness, the finest example being the singular mind of Bach. Here I am hearing a lot of non-Bach, which is good because I don't experience enough of those other baroque masters... Bach may be the master of them (and all composers) but his music of course excludes certain styles and moods as any mortal's might.
+Giovanni Battista Vivaldi You know who else I'm really into lately? Zelenka. His counterpoint rivals Bach's at it's best, no small feat. In fact, there are times when I find Zelenka's style even more expressive. He's highly chromatic as well. Bach was impressed with Zelenka and more and more of his pieces can be found on UA-cam.
incredible... for the longest time i searched for the music in the marriage scene in the 1st Pirates of the Carribbean. I finally know. Thank you, Handel. It begins at 19:02
It is my favourite music in the world, but I am totally unable to study with Baroque music in the background. Maybe because it's touched me very deeply since I was a kid, don't know. Just too much going on in it, too beautiful, too interesting, totally occupies my mind and draws my attention away from other things. For me, the absolute best music for studying is renaissance, esp. sacred music that kind of flows in the background without much rhythm or recurring main theme.
Yeah I agree. I can't focus on anything else. It's the most distracting thing in the world. Why would I listen to that when I'm trying to study? lol. It makes more sense to keep the most fascinating things out of reach, wouldn't you say? =P
Just found this Channel... Good stuff and I just found out why I claim Baroque to be the best Classical music to listen too... Now that i'm calm back to work !!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent combination. When I was in college I learned the Baroque Music reset the alpha waves in the brain making studying more effective. One study sited that students were allowed to listen to baroque while testing and results were much improved than without. And wouldn't you know it -- Handel is one of my favorites; in particular, The Four Seasons.
I love Baroque music. But I cannot study with it playing. Why? Because my major was in music and everytime I hear this music I'm constantly listening with an ear to doing "form and analysis". It's a drawback of having studied music, I suppose ;-) It's hard to just listen and not get onesself involved in the more intrinsic aspects of the music. For serious study....well, actually for me the quieter the better. That all being said baroque can be relaxing....or invigorating. It depends on the piece one chooses :-)
Relax and ENJOY, your subconcious knows more than your conscious mind. I personal would never use music as a background for another activity except dance.
Cant tell you how many papers i have written while listening to this haha. It helps me concentrate and say exactly what i need to say and get it done in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks much :P
Thank you so much for this playlist, I have tried many on UA-cam and this is the one we come back to every time for my 9-yo son to do his homework. I love this blend b/c it has the perfect tempo - not too upbeat, but just stimulating enough for concentration. I would like to download all the music on this list to put them on an mp3 player for him to take to school and would so appreciate if you can share your playlist! TY
everytime i listen to this, i will be then taken almost 25years into the past and see my music professor, images of my classmates, my friends and even smell the air but now im almost aged
A million thumbs up. Thank you. I've been struggling to find a very specific piece of chamber music which likely does not exist, but this more than suffices.
What do you mean "slower baroques, such as Bach, Vivaldi, etc"? Why are they slow? Each have very fast works. Especially Bach. Also, I think anyone actually interested in this music will show a different result, since I, and anyone else I know who listens to this can't pay attention to anything else while a piece they like is playing, since it's so involved, complicated, interesting. I would need that turned off to do math. :P That being said, I'm sure it's good for the brain to listen to it.
Händel - Concerto Grosso in B minor, Op. 6, No. 12, HWV 330, Allegro Credit to "Al Patel" downwards in the comment section, there along with this piece are the other ones' featured in this wonderful video.

I hate how every UA-cam Classical Music Compilation has the word "Concetration & Studying" in it. Can i just enjoy Music without being reminded of my mountain of Paperwork and Schoolstuff? I'm not ungrateful but this is supposed to relax, isn't it ?
This is BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for sharing these wonderful music pieces. Is there a list somewhere of the names of the songs and their composers? I'd love to know what they are. Thanks!! :)

I've never hear more about the Barbour music until I realize when I'm studying it helps my brain concentrate mentally on one big task.

John Linton Try exploring his Cantatas and Choral Works, and if you are brave enough the St Matthew Passion. Or the Art of Fugue.

Nghe nhạc của handel, vivaldi, bach;tâm hồn, trong sáng, dễ chiu(!) các vị là số 1 , nghe không thấy mệt,❤❤❤❤❤
I feel divine when I reflect and think to this music. Angelic.
I love this Baroque music for a long time. It is really a kind of soothing melody.

One study sited that students were allowed to listen to baroque while testing and results were much improved than without. P Burke Handel is also among my favorites. By the way, the Four Seasons were composed by Vivaldi, a favorite as well.
Beautiful music. My attention has improved much.
Bach and Handel are full of variety on the earth of the mind that Ìs full of the soil and makes the fertile world
This has helped me so much with being able to sit and write papers for graduate school. I now listen to the music any time I have to write. :)
Ahh this relaxes my mind and makes studying math so much more pleasant.
If its not Baroque - don't fix it!
+Ban Just Ban Oh god, the puns have started.

+Happy Sun flower Interesting...I just checked out alpha music. It's too electronic/artificial IMHO. I'd substitute it with Gregorian chants.

Music conveying a level of sophistication, civility, pride and dignity so sadly amiss in todays world.

Largo and Larguetto movements are the finest to do the study or just to relax. Other movements aren´t that good.
It actually works! Better than pop music though I like it much more.
I could never study with this music because I would want to listen.
Thank you for sharing!
My IQ just increased the most greatest amount it ever has. Its amazing someone let me use there video to get so smart!
