- Join me as I metal detect and recover artifacts from a late 1800's / early 1900's Ranch site & Stagecoach stop. I found some amazing artifacts that were witnesses to the WILD WEST!
I hope you enjoy!
If you can locate the old ranch & stagecoach stop privy/privies sites & excavate em before the housing development goes up, there’s a good chance of possibly finding & saving a load of antique & potentially valuable pre 1900 bottles.
Your absolutely right! I’m always looking for the old out house locations because they are literally a treasure chest.
That 'mystery item' looks very similar to something from when I was a kid in the 1950s. Part of a nutcracker set, we had several 'picks' like that used to pick the nutmeat out of walnut shells after cracking them with the nutcracker. They had the tooled rings at the back end of the handle and a curved pointed tool at the working end.
Thank for the info! I was puzzled by them and not sure what to think of them. But I’m glad to know what they are now. Thanks for the help! 👍
Exactly what it is part of a nutcracker set
Yep; that R what it is; a nut meat pick; I'm very familiar with that tool 😊 The U shaped 'nails' are fence staples; used to attach barbed wire to wood fence posts... 😉 ...
I don't know when you started your channel, but you are bound to find awesome historical items with your spunk and energy and awesome tools.
Hi Beth! Thank you, I am always hoping that the next trip will yield my retirement find lol. I’ll keep searching
Wow, great video! Really enjoyed it!
Just discovered your channel. You have a great presentation and personality.
I’m Subscribed!
Thanks for the kind words! I have some more videos coming soon 😎
History needs to be preserved for the future
I just came on to this u-tube channel and since I like metal detecting and historical finds...I am hooked. My sister lives in Arizona which is exciting. Good luck on finding awesome finds.
Thank you Beth!
You are the best!
Thank you so much! You Rock!
your wrap-up the first item is a dental pick, the plate is the bottom of a skillet
Hi James! That’s absolutely Fascinating
enjoyed the video some good finds enjoyed watching
Love and enjoy your enthusiasm for history and its treasures. Thank you for taking us on your journeys
Thank you for the kind words! It brings me a lot of joy to share my experiences in my adventures. A lot of great things are on the horizon!
I’m glad I’m not the only one sifting through all the junk-especially the barbed wire nail. I find a shit ton of them. I’ve also found spoons and knives that look very similar. I guess you have to sift through a lot of straw to get to the wheat.
Heck yeah. Just got into metal detecting but I have no idea where to start
Where are you located?
19:24....that is a dental tool. My Grandfather was a dentist 1895-1962...we still have some of his equipment....including a foot powered drill, yikes! Thanks for the video...
WRA CO = Winchester Repeating Arms Company and the .30 WCF is .30 caliber Winchester Center Fire which is a 30-30 cartridge.
Really enjoyed watching this one. Great channel, thanks for sharing.
Learned a lot. Thanks for sharing.
I have a very yellow H2, I love it…. You’re vehicle is never lost in a parking lot :) Good finds :)
Thank you! Yes my Jeep is extremely easy to spot in any parking lot 🤣
What a great place to hunt for relics thanks for sharing your video I enjoyed it 👍👍👍🎉🗝️
Thank you so much!
LOVE the adventure and finds..Going back in time is somehow peaceful..😇
Love the history and Finds 💚💚🤗🤗
Thank you Terry!
Fun fun! Big Bird! 😄♥️ Jeeps always need names. 👍 Enjoy your posts plus the history lessons with. Rare times out with my Nox in AZ I'm pulling a magnet tied on just in case of meteorites. Club friends in Midwest would love to have you hook up....Detecting the Heartland. Family based. Good group. Lots of chatter. There's a few of us in AZ.
The amount of work it took to build that huge rock wall boggles the mind...
That’s an old .30-30 though! Winchester called it .30 WCF early on.
I grew up in the valley and the first piece I dug up was a wagon wheel hub I found in Jerome that was 40 years ago, I still have that old white detector too!
Very interesting!!!
I just came across your channel. Really enjoyed it. The mystery item looks a crochet hook that I own that is very old.
Yeah that pointy thing that is your mystery item is a pick used to get the meat out of the nut like pecans or walnuts or what have you. My parents had one in a nutcracker set and that's exactly what it looked like. That other piece of metal you had just before that looked like the outer edge of a plate.
I have a house here in Oklahoma that used to be my grandparents. And there is a hill on the far side of their yard because we have 10 acres, that used to be where they dump their trash after they burned it and they said people had been dumping their trash there since at least the 1920s. I know there was all kinds of crap there and they didn't really want me playing in it when I was a kid. I believe there was even those old spin washing machines and other major junk. I thought about looking through some of it for the bottles there are a lot of intact types of bottles. Assuming it's not completely overgrown now I pay the taxes but I don't mess around there very much as I live in another city
Awesome content sir. Top notch.
Thank you!
Very cool. would love to find places. My daughter and I just got into MDing and hard to find spots here in AZ. either private property, or state land, Indian Res, etc.
Very cool, I can give you a few sites y'all can metal detect before they are destroyed and made into housing developments.
@@thearizonatreasurehunter2313 that would be awesome,
Just subscribed man. Great video.
Thank you!
the 30 caliber cartridge was made between 1896 and 1902
Hi Acoils! Thanks for that! That information just made my day 👍
The white pottery could be part of a chamber pot belonging to the ranch
COOL‼️
Awesome !!!!!
Thank you!
Awesome finds from the 603DlGGAZ
Thank you!
Looks like Black Canyon City or New River. I used to do a lot of quail hunting out there.
I’m actually in New River & Black Canyon City often
Fairly new to historical ammunition finds here...tell me why the excitement of the 45-70 round? Do they hold value? Also, big shout out to Terry Carter here for sharing your content! Discovered you through his channel
The 6 inch coil would work great out there. Gold coin possibly.
I just received mine in the mail and will go back to the site again with it soon.
That pointed worked end piece looks like an old dental tool possibly. Good location!
Maybe your "dinner plate" is possibly a gold pan?
A collection of porcelain and pottery pieces could make a cool mosaic piece put all together. 😊
I make jewelry out of the shards of glass and dishes
Really?! I can send you a ton of it then!
New sub. Curious what your scoops made of that your pinpointer doesn't pick it up?
The scoop is made of plastic
Came across this video today, just wondering why do you wear shorts & sandals to detect in the Arizona desert ? I also detect the Az desert but its long pants & hiking boots for me , sometimes even snake guards cause the rattlers are out there. Good luck.
It’s just easier to maneuver in certain areas that way. If I was in the mountains I wouldn’t be wearing a swimsuit and sandals lol
Clear glass turns light purple if in the sun over time in the sun. Word of wisdom DO NOT WEAR SANDALS to metal detect. ( AT ALL) not on beaches sunburns, fishhook broken glass long list. Keep tetanus shots up to date From Texas USA Be safe always
Also, did you dig down to get in the cellar? Was that possible? Cool stuff!
MY PASSION FROM THE PAST🤩😱🤩
Just subscribed love the channel. Just moved to Phoenix from salem oregon and metal detecting daily until I moved here I need to find a club or group of people. Is this far from phoenix?
At 17:14 your wearing sandals. My friend got bit by a rattlesnake on his big toe while wearing sandals.
That’s terrible about your friend.
What model is your Minelab? I’m debating between those and G AT-PRO
Hi Andy! It’s a Minelab Equinox 800
Honestly both machines your looking at are amazing.
I am looking for the hand tattoo and how to use it?
what's your reason for hunting in beach mode?
There was a lot of wet soil at the site. Also two flowing creeks nearby so I just left it on.
I AGREE…THEY ARE COVERING ALL THE REGULAR BEAUTIFUL BEACHES….SAD😢
That’s why I don’t sell my land, damn developers ruin everything
Find the privey!!!!
Its s 30 cal. casing
its not a needle it is a nut pick
Won't be long till you find the gold bars!💰🪙🪙🪙🪙🪙
Right?! I’m always hoping that the next adventure I’ll discover my retirement find. Gold bars are around the corner somewhere!
