Alcaraz is the only one after Federer that I see fully comfortable in his body with any stroke, there is not a trace of extra or ridged movements

Why doesn’t Nadal qualify for that, do you think?

@@EmperorsNewWardrobe yea but my original comment was just talking about sheer comfort and confidence in the skills

I feel like Djokovic is another player who is fully comfortable in his body with any stroke. In my opinion, he has the most efficient technique on groundstrokes which is why he can outlast 99% of players.

His timing and groundstroke depth remind me of some greats, Agassi comes immediately to mind. Except his movement is faster than Agassi... I would say that a few things in his game could be improved. First is the serve. No his serve isn't bad, but it's not a weapon like his other shots, and his second serve is a little subpar too. Also his angles are gonna lead to shoulder injury if he doesn't improve the technique anyway. He's 19 now but I doubt he can maintain that. Another is hit the ball a little earlier. I noticed he often gives that extra half second to let the ball go back down, which gives the extra half second for his opponent. Same thing, he's 19 and his speed/endurance are exceptional so he still does well, but something to keep in mind, this would allow him to put less effort into points without any other change.
Either way, his talent is immense and I have no doubt he'll make these changes over the next few years. He's only 19 and already doing that well... His mental strength and overall attitude are wonderful. Think of Federer who only managed to really get everything aligned at about 22-23 years old, and still did some extra changes at 36 to win 3 more grand slams. Alcaraz is doing a lot really well. He's the leader of the next generation for sure, douchebags like Zverev and Tsitsipas were just there to pass time until he made his way in. Medvedev is alright though his talent is not quite as high. Ruud can probably do well too. Really happy to see great new players like that, I now that the big 3 are retiring or getting closer to it... Federer already has, and I think Nadal/Djokovic have another 2-3 years left...

What a great player. I am looking forward to see his career unfold.
But out of concern from his latest loss against FAA (the match reminded me of RG22 QF against Zverev), what should (could) he still improve on to become a more dominant player over long period of time?

Djokovic also lost to FAA in Lavers Cup one months ago. FAA is a top 10 player anyone can lose to, really nothing out of the ordinary.

His body and serve will probably both still be improved.
