Those bash guards are paper thin. He flexed it pulling himself under the trailer. Cheap wood supports under the seats. But the drain valve hanging below the bash plates is a no go. After looking at other comments, I saved myself trip to California or Utah to look at one.
Bash guard with a drain valve hanging below it. And gottas love that open tank that you can buy a heating pad for. Hang up and go play with golf carts or something.
Jim Needs Salesman of the Year..im a Big Airstreamer but Id Buy This bc The Under carriage is Better Made and Looks Fantastic👍🏻👍🏻😎✌🏻...Love the Openness Also
You’re walkthrough is so thorough except that you never talk about the bed size or type. I know its not that important to most people but I’m currently looking for a trailer and one of my priorities is the bed.
Please find a way to add double sinks. If you've lived off grid for a while you know it's a must. One sink always dedicated to washing and one sink for anything else.
BEAUTIFUL PRODUCT AND EXCELLENT PRESENTATION ! Especially when he slid under the trailer on a mechanics creeper, I laughed! You never see that on any other trailer video. A couple questions that need clarification tho; 1) 4:40 Exterior Prep Table - It's just pulled open and pushed shut with no latches. How is it held in place? 2) 6:15 Locking Screen Door - It's explained that the lock is on the screen door, not the exterior door, it wasn't explained what secures the exterior door to the screen door, and what holds the exterior door open in place? 3) 15:30 & 16:45 All Aluminum Framing - I wont buy a trailer with wood framing 'secured' with staples, so I appreciate the aluminum with welded joints. However, my jaw dropped when the seat cushions were removed and I saw only two PINE WOOD 1x2's supporting the seat over the four batteries. How long are 1x2 furring strips going to hold up with 250# users sitting on this seat? Same thing on the rear bench, just four spindly little 1x2's for a seat twice as long. In spite of how fantastic this trailer is, attempting to support these seats with wood 1x2's is a non-starter for me. ALL of the framing for the seating should be constructed of aluminum as the rest of the trailer. I've seen other videos where the presenter claimed it had all aluminum construction - no wood. Seating structure is 'construction'. 4) Roof Material - Plenty time was spent under the unit, but nothing on the roof, sealants and how water is drained. I would appreciate a dealership response to these questions before I can consider purchasing.
Glad I found your channel! I just had way too much trouble with the crazy "special effects" on other Black Series videos. I'm here to be informed. Being entertained is secondary to my needs. I have subscribed and will check out more of your videos.
Why is the underside not covered with a hard surface? Fiberglass panels or something, not just bubble foil insulating. Looked like lots of cupboards that are really small. Definitely looks nice and seems fairly tough. Pricey I bet. Not a toyhauler though.
This is bigger then hq19 but you lost the washing machine there is not that much storage there is something hiding behind any big storage space also there is no generator so all your getting is a bigger dinette and a split bath that’s in the kitchen
@@sportsguy2891 I agree, I dont understand seating for five adults with sleeping for two and two children. Id prefer smaller dinette and more storage for food and clothing
The HQ19 washing machine is very good, and the generator is also very important for dry camping. HQ21 is bigger which is good, but the lack of the above functions is not good
Overall, it looks ok. A few concerns though. First, that aluminum skin on the exterior and the exterior compartment doors and latches look extremely flimsy. Next, the battery compartment looks like it isn't vented to the exterior, meaning all of those fumes from the batteries are going into the living space. Also the gas lines look like cheapo rubber hose with hose clamp fittings and there doesn't appear to be a propane gas leak detector in the living space anywhere.
Justin N -I just got on here and seems everything is good to go until I saw your comments and started thinking as I watched the rest of it then said yeah this is a problem! Good looking out .
You do very good reviews of all the features of your products but you need to show a full exterior view and a similar scan of the interior as we have no idea what the overall exterior or interior looks like. I think this would help draw customers to your products.
The only thing that discourages me is the black water tank on the side where you will gather and chill.. the HQ21 (2021) I like very much because your general water, gray and black and your fresh water are all on the other side where it's not an eye sore when you're at a K.O.A or hooked up to a shore line and your sewer
Why wouldn't you guys have placed the awning over the outdoor kitchen or made the awning a bit larger to cover the kitch? I don't wanna cook in the rain! lol
The HQ21 is a nice unit, but unfortunately I can only give it a 4/5 rating. Why? Two main reasons: 1. The refrigerator door should open the other way around. Why does it open to the bathroom/bedroom? It should open to the kitchen/cooking area. 2. Too small. I'm 6'6" tall. If this had higher ceilings I could even overlook the refrigerator door issue. As it is, I'd be hunched over all the time in one of those. It's a shame, too. It's definitely one of the nicest setups that I've seen... Bar none.
Hi. Can’t wait to order mine probably this year. The only thumbs down is the side storage compartment doors. Made out of plastics?? Seems kind of a let down when the trailer is a beast but has plastic storage doors. Can the factory change them out if we order them? Also, I hope the fridge door can be switched to right opening??? The way it is in the video would be a pain in the neck. All in all ...... we have been looking to upgrade our camper and have searched for three years. This is the one!!!! Excited!!!!
4:16 you mention r16 insulation... would that be good enough for as cold as -50C? looking into these as a 24/7/365 mobile living space but it has to meet requirements for living in Canada's harsh winters. are there custom options? to be honest there are a few things this thing could use to make it even better.
this is not a fulltime trailer..it is for boon docking and camping, remember this is from Australia, a lot different mentality and will appeal to those of us who want a more capable trailer, so storage is not going to be what you want.
During the table review with lifting the cushions exposing the batteries, charger, and storage area, the wooden cross beams seem to be quite small. More information concerning weight limits placed on those please. Materials used for inside the cushions? Memory Foam?
High Definition TV Antenna explained well. Is there a Satellite TV Application available? Also solar panels on the roof, unless I missed it I did not see this covered. Thank you.
Yes, this unit does come standard with 2x 150watt solar panels. Our units come standard with the HD TV antenna's, however if you wish to change it out you would have to discuss any modifications with a dealership.
Ahh... having the thermostat right above the heater and vent will cause short cycling and ineffective heater function. The thermostat needs to be about 5’ away from the vent. This is a no brained.
All the things that matter are done right, sound, lighting, product presentation etc... My only critique is if you're going to do a fade cut every 30 seconds drop the ear to ear grin...
Hinges for the fridge/freezer should be on the other side. Nobody wants to walk away from the sink/stove to get something from the fridge and have to close the fridge just to get back to the sink. In addition, you can’t close off the bedroom via the sliding door if you need to access the fridge…. No way to navigate around the fridge door to get your food out.
Plan on trading in my trailer in the future and have a few questions/requests. Is the roof walkable and is there an option for a 3 way 12v compressor refrigerator? Will there be a slide out option for the dining area? Thanks!
We don't recommend you hanging out on the roof with the potential to damage the solar panels. When it comes to any customizations, it would be up to your dealership to make modifications. At this moment we do not offer a slid out options.
In Utah over the phone quoted me 56,000 for the series 19. And to add the weather package to cover the pipes and wrapped the tanks, the price went up to 62,800.

They definitely need a different guy doing the walk-through, most all the stuff he pointed out is standard in any trailer. Let’s point out what makes this trailer bad ass. I sold RVs for one month I probably could do a better walk-through than this, not even knowing the unit.
With regards to the refrigerator, I'm hearing on other reviews that the fridge "likes to be level".
