Thanks so much for the help my friend. Sorry the day did not end on a good note for you. On a side note the van is back up and running. New fuel pump did the trick. Jason
Two things about Oregon: 1.People do just pull in front of you, like they have no ability anticipate what's about to happen. 2. There is nowhere to turn around if you miss a turn. I guess we don't have the money to have roads with shoulders. It's bad in the summer, but in winter time just forget about it and drive to the next town.
That all happens everywhere. People cannot think five seconds into the future to see that what they might do might inconvenience others and they truly do not care. When you are towing a trailer, trying to get turned around is even more challenging.
It didn’t used to be that way. During the ‘08 financial crisis things were nice and quiet here, nothing but country folks who know how to drive. As the economy grew so did the number of idiot city people who don’t know how to drive or even think.
@@jessepitt I wasn't in Central or Southern Oregon much between 2004 and 2009, so I can't speak to that time period, but drivers, and especially Bend drivers, were bad in the late 1990's and early 2000's, and they certainly are NOT any better now. I think that too many moved to Bend from PDX and Southern Cali. I was in Bend 2 days before Christmas, and it was pretty ugly, between the road conditions and the idiots on the road. I try to not go there, but I had to pick up a friend from the hospital.
Thank you for helping Jason! Other than your channel, there is no other channel I watch more than Jasons. His videos inspired me and my family to move out here to the Central Oregon high desert 7 years ago and it's been amazing ever since. Cheers ✌🏼🌲
For the outside shower, bucket the water out of the creek etc, but then run it through the pump a few times and this will heat it up nicely for a shower.
What a great idea auto chain. Also, those rollback are better than lifting heavey ramps like I have done in the past, and it can hurt your body lifting
Casey I love how you always make sure and get the perfect shot on stuff I love the camera angles showing the automatic tire chains working. I give you credit for waiting as long as you did to try out the new automatic tire chains I would of been trying them as soon as I got it just for fun.
You're a lucky guy. You live in my outdoor playground. I love to spending time in Central and Eastern Oregon. I hope I never need your services but I'm glad that if I do you will be there for me. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
Hope to never need your services but I’d be honored to call you if I do we are from Hope Idaho and come through Bend Oregon couple times a year thanks for your videos and all the hard work you do especially in the winter . Don and Donna
The cinematic qualities of the melting ice and auto chains, the tense struggle to get in and out of the lot at the Pilot, along with the dramatic last-minute rescue of Sasquatch, were outstanding! 😎 🤣
Awesome that there's an Ecoflow Ad at the beginning...your channel and a couple more are the only ones that I watch the ads. Used to run up that way and that's the first time I've not seen a bunch of trucks at that Pilot in Chemult. As usual another Awesome video 😁
Two of my kids have worked at the Chemult Pilot... I heard some stories from them, that I was glad I wasn't there for. Nice station, but the driveway is in a BAD spot. And Beaver Marsh Rest Area, so you didn't get very far before you found him.
As I am waking up I’m watching your video realize I am sleeping in the Chemault truck stop lol. And one of my Facebook groups I’m in has shared your auto chain video.
Lotsa luck with fuel pump ..lol ..did mine last summer .e250..would recommend new tank straps ...my front one was very rusted ..replace complete unit !! Cheaper & faster !!!
You shouldn't drink beer of root whilst driving that could get you into trouble. Some people believes everything they hear on the Interwebs and I once was told by a friend of a friend of a friend that root beer is beer since it has beer in the name and who am I to not believe what the interwebs has said. Nevermind I looked up the ingredients they were all wrong. I absolutely love your vids keep em coming.
Hey Casey, another great video I didn’t catch Jason’s two UA-cam channels also hope you’re okay after that fall today! I started following you after your appearance on Matt’s channel and have enjoyed watching your adventures!
Casey you talk about saving time we ran auto chain's on our two main 4+4 plow trucks a IH paystar and a freightliner for a small township in Wisconsin we used sand with little salt mix the County's use straight salt and we have to run on there road that are usually bared up. Less wear on the chains up and down when needed awesome 👍 product and was great to see them in action from the camera view after all these years of me using them thanks
Love the auto-chains. I have a Chevy Express that is just terrible in the snow, was wondering if they make a mechanical version of this to get out of a trouble spot?
Casey, I've always thought about taking an old cement truck to build a wrecker like yours, would that be feasible? Looking for the flotation of the dual front axles, just a thought. Cheers 🍻
Just watched the video of you helping the lady with the pot bellied pig. I see the trailer you bought and used. I don't know if name your vehicles or equipment, but may I suggest you name the trailer Mabeline, in her honor.
Rootbeer is my favorite soft drink, IBC Rootbeer is my favorite brand but I'll drink all of them and I even like the homemade kind that's not carbonated. I would usually say Rootbeer is my favorite coke but people not from way down south wouldn't know what I meant. Rootbeer is my favorite coke though lol.
Hey Casey !! Jason's adventure with the fuel system should remind you of your adventure with the Cherokee when the fuel system left you out in the cold with the family on the joyride in the snow !! 🤔🤔🙄🙄👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
Casey LaDelle good call on the safety chain left on until you unloaded but I will give you my experience with that winch , I have over 12 years' experience driving wreckers everything from light weight rollbacks to a 75 ton rotator and I had the same remote winch on my 22 ft bed on my Peterbuilt rollback . The winch worked great for about a year until I was unloading a Service truck at a shop that had a very steep area to drop off vehicles. Well on that day when I tilted my bed back the controller fried in my hand and the winch went into free spool and let the truck go free , when it got to the end of the bed the front end bounced on their uneven storage area and both of my J hooks came loose from the frame and the service truck took off down the hill and totaled a Toyota four runner . an awfully expensive winch failure to say the least. I loved that winch but keep a eye on the controller for damage to the watertight seal .
Love all your videos, really enjoy the ones with all that snow 400in. Of snow that insane but wish I could be there to enjoy it, with other people who love it…here in Ohio they complain about 2in. and don’t know how to drive it, here in Ohio they shut the schools and other business down, and everyone thinks the snow plow is only supposed to come on their street 😮I say people once the plow goes down your street they have to keep going, it’s a big city, it keeps snowing they aren’t going to set there and just plow your street people here in Ohio are so stupid when it comes to snow, I love how I see people there going about their daily business, going to breakfast and other stores…keepem coming for me here stuck in Ohio
When I saw the title I thought you broke down in another vehicle. Thanks for sharing (And shaming) only sorry you didn't get to play with your auto-chains. Maybe next time.
Greetings Casey. Coming from someone (Me) that knows very little about big trucks. Why is a rollback truck called a rollback and not a slide back or slide down etc? Thanks
When I drove a tow truck for AAA many years ago I used to get the occasional person that was drunk and didn't want to drive and made up a mechanical excuse so that I would pick them up and their vehicle and tow them to another town. I guess also to avoid check stops along the way.
Thanks so much for the help my friend. Sorry the day did not end on a good note for you. On a side note the van is back up and running. New fuel pump did the trick.
Jason
You are a world famous youtuber too Casey ! proof : I watch all your videos from France !
When I saw the title of world famous UA-camr needs a tow, I thought you broke down Casey and had to have someone come rescue you!
I thought the same, and grumpy was on a rescue mission
I was thinking the same, then I saw the thumbnail😁
Me too, but then I remenbered Casey is not world famous.
I mean there is North Korea, where he doesn't even bother to send merch.
@@stefantrethan Comrade..... that's funny!
🤣🤣🤣
That is cool that you helped a friend out and a Awesome job
You guys are a riot - the last video I saw was when you guys teamed up to help clean trash out of the forest, and that lawn mower - classic!
Oh this is that guy!
I’m so stoked you come into Klamath County.

Any bigfoots in your part of the woods? I always hear that Oregon is a hotspot.
For the outside shower, bucket the water out of the creek etc, but then run it through the pump a few times and this will heat it up nicely for a shower.
Glad to see that you finally got the wireless remote for the bed.
The first time i used those auto-chains, I fell in love with them on the F-350 ambulance I drove.
Good morning to you Casey, stay safe out there.
Top o' the morning everyone ! I find it hilarious when people glare at you for being in their way while cutting you off 🤦🤣🤣
I was stuck in the inn across the street from that truck stop in chamault for 2 days. That cafe is awesome and the people that own it are as well
What a great idea auto chain. Also, those rollback are better than lifting heavey ramps like I have done in the past, and it can hurt your body lifting
Cool van that needs modified! Always have things to improve on! Good job Casey getting him home!
Much rather watch you all day long! You help people and I've heard your nice in person.
Stopped at the cafe last summer and asked them about the sign. They enjoyed your video efforts. Great people, great food!
You earned my thumbs up just for pointing out the lady who cut you off and stared. I deal with that daily driving truck.
Casey I love how you always make sure and get the perfect shot on stuff I love the camera angles showing the automatic tire chains working.
I give you credit for waiting as long as you did to try out the new automatic tire chains I would of been trying them as soon as I got it just for fun.
He will need an automatic camera hanger thingamabob otherwise he still needs to crawl under the vehicle in order to video the auto chains.
Always love your videos Casey I thought it was really cool how you put the camera down underneath there and showed everybody how the auto chains work
What!!?! Your remote operates the bed also. Mine only does the winch. Man that must be nice lol
Great video!👍😎 Friend helping friend😊 Keep up the great work and stay safe out there!❤️🙏
Oh well, you got to show the chains in use. Nice recovery. We have those same DA people here in the Mid-Atlantic.
Thanks for the ride along the chain set up is cool,
That’s a cool van.

It was funny watching these videos back to back. The shots lined up pretty well 😂
Good morning Casey , yup you had to rescue Jason!!
Sasquatch will never be too tall for your wrecker... after the first overpass!
Hope to never need your services but I’d be honored to call you if I do we are from Hope Idaho and come through Bend Oregon couple times a year thanks for your videos and all the hard work you do especially in the winter . Don and Donna

Chemult was one of my favorite places to stop when I was truckin'...

Nice rig now, Jason!

Casey thanks for the footage of the auto-chains. As always another great video!
Keep up the Good Work.
Happy Friday !!!!
You sir, have some very cool friends.
That was a good video meeting your friend
Those auto chains would be very convenient if you didn’t have to keep crawling under the truck to video them in action.
YOU BOTH ( and Donald ) are the BEST !
I never saw a final update but did he ever find his dog ? Thanks again Casey for the awesome video.
Unfortunately no
Those chains sure save you a lot of time putting chains on your wheels! .... dang, what an invention. 🤗
SO Glad Jason called YOU!🦸♂️ So Exciting when You show up in another YT video🥳 Your Eyecrometer works Great!😎 Thanks for Helping💜
Saw Sasquatch on Jason’s channel and now it’s cool to see it on yours lol

Bummer for Jason's fuel pump, but it made for another great video! Those auto chains are so rad!
Great video
Monster energy!!!! It starts all my side jobs and road trips. It may very well kill me 1day, but it's my tradition.

Jason needs the Yankum rope set up on the front of his van to clean up the look. Casey you need to show him where to go for that.
When I saw the title I thought you broke down and had to call for help!
The jacket on the pump is for the government juice (DEF) because it will freeze
Yeah… that’s exactly what I said…
Sasquatch is a perfect candidate for that new yankum fairlead
The joke is you are world famous now. We talk about you in New Zealand 🇳🇿. Good one bud.
When the FL reverse alarm sounds, and closed captioning is on…. UA-cam think it says “thank you”😅
😂
Compared the Diesel price, that tank would cost you over 400 U$ in Sweden (at the cheapest rate)
I was just wonderin yesterday about the sign would like to have an update on it
Jason musta fixed the van....saw him in the OR hinterlands (Hwy 62?) rolling along...
Yep, he got it fixed same day
In the 1950s or thereabouts the Wagon Wheel was a well-known workhouse. I grew up in Klamath Falls.
I stopped at that Pilot a few months ago and wondered if I’d run into you there.
Great video, Pocket 2 video seemed to be smoother and not jumping around. Keep up the great work

Thanks for the video
There is/was a cafe that had a really nice family running it.

Hey, I watch his channel 👍🏻👍🏻
That roof rack so cool he should try and sell it? I'm sure someone out there could use it!!! Very cool van to bad it's a Ford LOL!!!
Hey Casey. I guess I missed the vid on the roll back's low power problem final fix. Did Cat finally get it right?
Is the Rollback pre DEF?
Another good video 😊
YAY!!!!
So glad the bumper didn't pull off the FORD lol
While Donald sits by his undersize fire pit stroking his cat laughing hysterically uttering something that sounds like "Nissan for the Win!"🤣
I initially thought that can't be right, she put her Honda 300 Rally on a ship headed for another continent a couple months ago.
