That's the kind of damage one can be happy about after rolling a car! Emily is lucky that you have such a good network of friends so that he car could be checked out so quickly!
Emily giggling when her truck tipped right side up was perfect. Glad for her it was a spin and rollover with fairly minor damage. So rad you could have Nate check it out first thing Monday. Speaks volumes what a beast that Four Runner is! What a rad video Casey!
The best part of the whole thing is the young lady wasn't injured in the accident. Maybe watching your channel will give her some defensive driving pointers. I'm 71 year's old and can always use a reminder about driving skills especially summer to winter driving.
Took my 4runner to Elite Fleet a few years ago. Stand up guys, did a great job on my rear wheel bearing seal which I and another shop both failed at. One of their guys closed the garage door too soon and messed up my mountain bike (mounted on the roof). They covered everything to fix that and I have no complaints. It was real cold out and shit happens.
Casey- nate are you busy? Nate -Yep booked solid for a month! Casey- Dang this really pretty girl needs her toyota looked at after a rollover! Nate- I'll do it first thing in the morning!!! Priorities on point at elite fleet lol.
Emily definitely save it! I’ve had that exact 4Runner and they are the best. What I did is I bought a Toyota oem fender and had it painted by a body shop. I sprayed the inside with under coating and installed it myself. It’s easy. You might have a rear axle seal leaking and just have a shop replace them both and you ready for another 100,000 miles. The running boards and bumpers you can have a friend help you and you can replace them. Get a oem marker light so it fits because the aftermarket ones don’t fit. Message me if you have any questions because I have had only Toyotas since 1976! I’m glad your safe and not hurt. Bruce
Wow, now that's a all such a terrific stroke of luck following a rollover! Having a free recovery service happy to help, a garage who could give her a quick time to take it in and check it all out. Really a fine community of kindly folks to help out in a pinch :)
I was in total agreement about you cab size. Still valid point. After watching this video I realized one thing I enjoy about your channel is you let random people record for you. It is always a joy to see your edits with what you have to work with. Great work!
Nice ! Hopefully Emily can keep that 4 Runner! That was awesome that it’s fine after the rollover. Great that you got it checked out quickly too. You’re a great person Casey. Update us on what she did make out doing with the 4 Runner.
3rd gen best gen! I have a twin of this, was rear-ended on the street shortly after I purchased it. Tow hitch took the force, and bent the frame behind the rear suspension. Still tracked perfect even after that. Had the frame pulled straight, and I've put about 50k on it since then :D
My 04 Tacoma has that same engine, V6 with a cast iron block. 295k miles and runs perfectly. My left front fender looks worse from a tire which threw its tread at 70 mph. Lost the fender flare and that is the most expensive part to replace.
I like Emily. She makes an excellent first impression. She was smart to have her Toter checked out. Shows she cares about her stuff. Looks like she has a very good old Toyota on her hands, well worth the expense of fixing the fender and mirror. Or not. A whole lot of Toyota 4Runner owners would be perfectly happy with this one. Even after the rollover, this on is probably in better material condition than over 1/2 of the ones out there. And it has almost 300,000 miles on it!
If that vehicle is in that great a shape after that little mishap I don't believe I'd even bother with the insurance company. She can change the fender and get another mirror as she goes. So glad everything worked out for this young lady. Thanks Elite for taking care of it so well and so quickly. We love Grumpy but he might shouldn't have been on that slick road trying to video. Emily did a super job, thanks for helping her. Stay safe and GOD bless
Emily got off good for a roll over. She got the cheapest tow truck in town who got her into a garage the next day , even when all of the shops were running a week plus on new service.. And she probably got a discount for the work done on her vehicle. So that was her win, win, win, win... Great one Casey. Be safe and enjoy life.
Great Content and Recovery Emily is a Lucky Woman Thanx for sharing your experience Have a Great Day 👍 Nate is really Cool 😎 for taking care on a short time
that really was an impressive inspection and you can tell it was not just for the camera that mechanic looked that vehicle over very thoroughly and you can tell it was routine for him and he has done many like that for a long time....they had a really nice shop too and thanks to them for letting us all watch and ride along
Yota’s are great. My old 1995 diesel 80 Series Land Cruiser tripped over 500k km (311k miles) a week or so ago, still going strong, and the engine’s never been opened, just regular servicing …. Love ‘em ❤️🇷🇴
Casey have you thought about having an extra vehicle on your recoveries? That would fix your not enough room problem plus it might come in handy when you have a recovery where you need the extra vehicle. I will agree Nate is a great guy doing this for that lady is awesome
@@CaseyLaDelle Oh come on now, UA-cam ad revenue could cover at least part of it. Plus you could do some more recoveries with the extra help. Just a thought. Anyways, good video as always. Cheers!
That v-6 in that old 4 runner is bullet proof.I’ve owned three of them. Plus I love the sound of that old diesel wrecker. That is a real industrial engine that was made for work trucks by international harvester. Super tough. Not like these so called super duties.
I see You're truck came equipped with automatic alignment for the perfect pull for putting that 4runner back on it's wheels nice and soft like 😂😂, good episode!
Emily-cam insted of 360-Grumpy-cam! That's some good luck to have that little damage from rollover! Oh, it also seems to move so easily! They don't always seem that easy (even though the truck slide at first seemed like it could have given more trouble).
Love the 4Runners. Had a 1993, ran it to 296,000 and traded it in on a 1999. The new 93 owner took the body from it and put on a 92 chassis and ran that another couple years. Ran the 99 to 306,000, the last of which my son drove it and lifted it, and mudded with it. Got a 2007 and ran that till 175,000. Couldn't find a used '12-'16 so that broke my run. Need to find another soon.
Great video!! Even without the endings! She was really lucky considering she rolled it onto it's side. I can't believe it's in that good of shape at 285,000 miles!!!! I didn't have that good of luck with my 2004 F 150... engine took a crap at 106,000, frame is rusted so bad that at the last inspection the guy said that was most likely the last time he'd pass it.
Let's all thanks Emily for her help recording this for us. She deserves a hand. Maybe someone can help her fix her car up a little. if I was anywhere near I would volunteer. Mainly glad she is ok, Jesus definitely took the wheel on that one. Cool on Nate helping out too on such short notice. Thanks Sir.
Man, he gave that thing not just a once over but a thousand over! Probably the most thorough check it’s ever had in its 285K life! Now I wish I had bought a Toyota instead of my Honda.
Great job guys, keep up the great work. Glad she's ok-great truck. My old Toyota got stolen right in the front of my place, never saw it again, fkn sucks!
I smell a build coming up - stretch the wrecker OR get a chassis with a crewcab and stick the wrecker stuff on the back of it. Or not. Great video. It is a testimony to Toyota quality, high mileage and takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. :)
Nice rescue, as always ! And I so much liked the music in the end! Playing the Baritone Sax I had my ears wide open. Could you tell me the name of the band please :)
Still have a 2000 4Runner in the family. Pretty much the best vehicle we've ever had. Still going strong with over 300k miles. Haven't had it on it's side though. Hasn't needed any major engine or transmission work. Rear got noisy at about 200k. Other than that, normal maintenance.
Lived in WA state back in 80s.73 chev 3/4 t pickup.wkile driving bact to house on a snowy plowed rd caught lf tire on a 3 or 4 inch berm of ice in ctr of rd.
