The GameCube was the first home console that I ever owned myself, and I have so many fun memories playing those amazing games! When I was a kid, I got my GameCube for $29.99 used at GameStop. How times change…
I have a black GameCube also. It's one of my favorite colors. The GameCube is such a fantastic console. Awesome games got released for it but some are expensive now.
GREAT VIDEO! The gamecube is such a great console! Just so you know, both of those gamecubes are rarer variants with the digital output. If you look on the back, there is the power output, then the 2 video ports as well, rather than most models that only have the one AV output. So you can get an EON GameCube to HDMI adapter and use either gamecube for HD GameCube gaming! And plus, they're more valuable so you got a decent score with those! They can be pretty pricey! And that is a MadCatz Memory card, so it is definitely old school! pretty cool that you have that in it's packaging! The market for the gamecube and gamecube games is honestly REALLY high right now, so those were honestly really good scores! You should show off your GameCube game collection sometime! I'd love to see all the games you have!
I got a black gc, 2black, 1 blue🎮.Few years ago I got the Game Boy Player at my flea market for $2. As no cd was included. I did it by using GC Smash. I transfer files on to the gc card using my modded wii, and somewhere in the game menu section. The gba booted right up.
Cool that both consoles miraculously have the digital A/V port. They are more sought-after because of modding capability. Making me want to go check eBay for Spice Orange GCNs! Loved the video :D
O my gosh I found ur channel like a week ago and I needed some time to think of subscribing was worth it... it was I did and yeah absolutely love ur videos so yeah
Recently went thru my old boxes I just moved. I was upset my gsmecube wasn't there it was. I have all my games. Paper mario, tales of symphonia, twilight princess, metal gear, and many more! I love my gamecube
I would look into getting a Datel Action Replay, a Gecko memory card adapter and an SD2SP2 gameboy style adapter. You will need a 2 GB SD Formatted to Fat in the Gecko with Swiss and a larger SD formatted to Fat 32 with GUI format in the SD2SP2. I use a 128 GB. Google is your friend. It's definitely worth it for backing up your games.
I just purchased one with a lot of PlayStation 2 games to go to my collection today. I got the sonic game for gamecube can't wait to relive my childhood memories!! 😭😭
Nice finds! The GameCube is one of my favorite consoles and I have a lot of great memories with it. I suggest looking into one of the modern HDMI solutions like the Carby. I have one and it looks amazing! Also, be careful with those 3rd party memory cards - I've heard too many horror stories of corrupted saves. Now that you have GameCubes, you won't want to use your Wii again for playing GCN games - way better on the Cube, especially with the fun startup animation!
Very nostalgic for me, game cube was the first game system I ever played on if Vtech doesn't count!😂😂 But thnx for sharing, it was quite interesting seeing a game cube in 2022!
Game Cube controllers seem to go up and down a lot. I got a new Japanese Smash controller for $40 or so a few months ago. I can't believe they're $60 rn. That's just for a stock controller though. Game Cube controllers, if you get them all modded up and everything, can easily be at least $100, maybe even $200. I think the competitive Smash scene is mostly to blame since it's by far the most preferred controller, even for Smash Ultimate. People go crazy for a particular controller.
Oh! And do you want to buy any more accessories for the GCN like Wavebird controller, Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance Link Cable, and Nintendo GameCube Microphone? Now, the Nintendo GameCube Microphone doesn’t act like an actual microphone you sing into. It’s actually a special microphone used for minigames in Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7.
I still have 3 GameCubes. Two indigo and one black. But one is just the console no cables or controllers. They all work though! I’m hoping to get a couple of GCloaders in the future for them.
Hey. So this fun fact can be for Leikavee, but you guys can join in too. I want to share with you some big facts about the GameCube startup. So if you press and hold the Z button on a single controller and you fire up your GameCube, a squeaky toy sound over a xylophone, followed by a boing and a child laughing will play in place of the original startup jingle. Then gather up your family, press the Z button on four controllers, and then a Japanese shout, woodblocks and triangle ding will play also replacing the og jingle. That’s what I do sometimes when I fire up my GameCube. Oh. By the way, there’s a little easter egg about the menu music. You know how the GameCube menu music is a slowed down version of the Famicom Disk System startup jingle, right? Well, speed it up to 16x and you get this: ua-cam.com/video/u1m6j38CDOc/v-deo.html
Don't use those - if you have the DOL-001 model with digital video out port, you can use one of the modern HDMI solutions, like the Carby! With HDMI output, the GameCube looks outstanding, and it really holds up to modern games!

Do you still have it? Because I do.
@@George-zk4nv yep.
The detective in me suspects a connection between the diaper box and the reason why the console was sold. 🤣
Good score. I've been playing my GameCube lately too. Got it out for the Picoboot mod and has me playing the old Sunshine, Kart and Fzero again

I love how you can treat the GameCube as a little lunchbox.😂
And I really do want to get back into playing my GameCube.
A lotta ppl joked on the handle and lunchbox look, but it's really useful on the go.
Thanks Jess for sharing another brand new video I’ve missed these type of vids but you’re back now soo thanks ever soo much for sharing

I should put some game consoles in some boxes, tape them up and then film myself taking them out. lol

Leikavee, I enjoyed the Video that you posted on youtube about the Nintendo Gamecube. Also, You look Gorgeous in the Black shirt you were wearing.
Awesome haul and unboxing. I would have done the same by getting the GameCubes lots for sure

Congrats on the haul
The MadCatz memory cards were pretty terrible. My sister's basically deleted her save data, out of nowhere, back in the day.
Say, Jess. Have you heard about the new Kirby game coming out soon?
Congratulations 🎉🎊

Hello Jessica 🙋😇
What is your favorite console?
Do you have any preference?
And your favorite video game?
Thank you very much.
A hug 🙏😘
I want to know too.

Did you get a ps5 yet
Hey Jess is your Detective Pikachu vid sponsored or something, I wonder why you turned off for that specific video?
Thank you for letting me know! I don’t know why it did that, it isn’t sponsored either, I just turned the comments back on!
@@Leikavee no problem, just thought I would let you know
