I Installed Sound Deadening In The Bonnet Of My Land Rover Defender 110 To Reduce Engine Noise

I teamed up with ‪@theyellowdefender6433‬ to help with his Defenders bonnet insulation and sound deadening, to help sound proof his defender engine bay.
The Land Rover Defender is notoriously noisy and to help reduce the noise coming from the engine bay you can install sounding proofing as bonnet insulation to reduce the noise of the engine coming into the cab.
We installed 1" thick insulation to the bonnet of the land rover defender. The difference was huge! We're doing all this in preparation for our Arctic Circle tour in which we will be driving 5000 miles in 10 days so reducing that engine noise coming in is essential.

@@TheOrangeDefender only had my defender since March so getting it set up currently, which is sound proofing, needs a turbo, new injectors would be good, chasing wiring, rebuilding the heater box, building out the interior, making the bed rack and tool box and also want to fit lockers and a new r380 stumpy and 1.4 transfer case as the lt77 and 1.667 transfer has the engine going on the motorway 😂😂

Sure, it’s 30mm self adhesive, flame retardant sound deadening roll. Got mine from 3M.
