I was wondering what that was too then I remembered from her story somewhere (IG?) was that Bowser's bed was behind her and then I remembered what his snores sounded like and now it's a little funny-cute. :)
One thing I despise about apartments - once it’s renovated and a super nice apartment, there will STILL be the mouse hole in the wall and your sims still get negative moodlets from seeing the mice 🤡 EA please let us remove them
You have to be in live mode and the testingcheats enabled Then you can shift click on the object you’d like to get removed and choose destroy object :)
Deli, you can get rid of the pipes and electric boxes and mouse holes by moving a sim in, removing all the furniture, and fast forwarding without paying your bills and the repo man will show up and get rid of them!
Just a warning, if you cover up the holes in the wall you will still get mice and your sim won't be able to reach it to get rid of them. I learned that the hard way :( Love the reno it's so inspiring
His name is not Salem, as in Massachusetts, it's Salim. It's a middle eastern/south Asian name and it's pronounced sah-leem. The main chef at the Indian restaurant I worked at was named Salim & he really beamed whenever I called him his name with perfect pronunciation!
I thought the same thing! It might be because it's already lived in from the getgo, and it's the neighbour from the 'do it yourself' appartment with the open balcony
Another beautiful build! I just wanted to say thank you because you, James, Kayla, and Jesse have gotten me through so much with your videos. Looking forward to y'all's content has honestly saved my life. Thank you!!
You can delete the debug objects like pipes and mice holes with shift click. Covering them makes it worse, because the sim can't get to it to solve the problem and it will just make them tense all the time. The smelly floor is another thing and also cockroaches, but you can only delete these when they actually show up in the game, I think. I had a sim live in this kind of apartment and had a storyline where he would have to make a certain amount of money to renovate the apartment, which would get rid of the debug items.
You can only click on them and delete them if you have cc command center installed. Without them it doesn't work (I tried it). With cc command center is works! :)

Ok so I looked on the internet, it's called that way because they use to make glass doors in France in the 1700's but it actually refers to the very big double panel door you have on the inside of the house, for example between the kitchen and the living room. I always read this building as being built in the 60’s/70’s, so the exterior being concrete block and modern windows fits because architecture often leaned more modern, but the interior doors being more traditional fit the older less avant-garde original occupants and leasing agent.
Really love what you did with this apartment and how you made it so fitting for the sim living there! Super cool to see a different aesthetic come together so nicely

You can’t put anything in front of the mouse holes because once the mice come out you cannot reach them to get rid of them and you have to keep moving whatever is in front of the hole so your Sim can reach that spot to get rid of the mice. I play in this apartment a lot and it’s a very annoying apartment to plan it because you’re limited where you can put things because of the “features” this apartment comes with

Imagine building a community where the pool and park area are in windenburg, or in Magnolia Promenade, in the communal area in Junipet Station, or even in the realm of magic world!!! It would be amazing 😍😍
Deli!!! I actually did a reno of that apartment a few years back! I tried making it my own as possible... but it's so hard with the windows unable to move.
I really like this build but I think that it doesn't entirely fit the sim you were making it for, the bedroom looks great but i think the rest of the apartment was not colorful enough!!! I think the aesthetic of the rest of the apartment seemed more rugged and less soft which i think is what Salem really exudes (more softer pastel colors) through his clothing especially, after all he did start with a very colorful apartment with a pink rug lol, but the sim aside this build was great! please build more apartments and renovations for pre existing sim homes I'm begging you 😭
I've been living in a apartment building for a bit over ten years. Usually doors to apartment is totally wood with peephole, I haven't seen any apartment door with window. I could be wrong about it, but it's just what I've experienced. I know houses could have windows in it's front door, my childhood home had it, but it was made like you couldn't see anything but just very blurry figure.
City Living came with so many funky and colourful furniture, and you changed it to industrial - I saw so sad ToT But I agree that teal is a fantastic colour!! And the build eventually came together so it's lucky, cool c:

Harry, has some awesome doors that are opened like that first opened arch(Bafroom Pack -iirc).. In a beautiful black swatch, among many others ...Perfect for the modern build 👍🏻
Yayyyy dream home!! Woop woop 🎉
You are my favorite builder your style is just impeccable
Thanks Lux ❤️❤️❤️
Deli, I love that you went for open shelving, it looks great!
Thanks!
Deli you are looking so beautiful and radiant recently! Well always, but especially recently!!! the summer looks good on you!!! ☀️☀️❤️❤️
I think it's amazing! My sim had a renovation job there not long ago for the kitchen. I did a similar setup but nothing as elaborate and beautiful as yours
Alrighty...you twisted my arm long enough Deli! I am officially a member of the channel! Can't wait to see what you come up with for the new year! Love your videos and that you keep things relatively family friendly. I appreciate that bunches! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and James!
Thanks Melinda ❤️🤗 appreciate the extra support. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ❤️🍀
Its a pretty eclectic space. I didn't really like it at first but in the end it actually looked quite nice
Deli i would looove for you to do a build series in which you houses/apartments in genwral community lots. Imagine building a community where the pool and park area are in windenburg, or in Magnolia Promenade, in the communal area in Junipet Station, or even in the realm of magic world!!! It would be amazing 😍😍
bowser’s snore is so adorable, i love hearing it in the background
Oh good ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Deli!!! I actually did a reno of that apartment a few years back! I tried making it my own as possible... but it's so hard with the windows unable to move.
Yeah the windows are an extra challenge!
honestly hiding the utility box until it's needed seems pretty realistic haha! or make it that a sim can sneak behind a shelf or closet haha
This turned out so pretty! I would live there.
I really like this build but I think that it doesn't entirely fit the sim you were making it for, the bedroom looks great but i think the rest of the apartment was not colorful enough!!! I think the aesthetic of the rest of the apartment seemed more rugged and less soft which i think is what Salem really exudes (more softer pastel colors) through his clothing especially, after all he did start with a very colorful apartment with a pink rug lol, but the sim aside this build was great! please build more apartments and renovations for pre existing sim homes I'm begging you 😭
Bowsers snoring adding ambient white noise to the background, what a good secretary!
Yaaaaay !!!! LIVE STREAAAAMS!
Most apartments I’ve lived in have steel doors so people can’t break them!
City Living came with so many funky and colourful furniture, and you changed it to industrial - I saw so sad ToT But I agree that teal is a fantastic colour!! And the build eventually came together so it's lucky, cool c:
I love how lately you are using so many different itens 😍
The deli renaissance!
I was excited to watch this and looking forward to more live streams from you soon. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get through this video because there was like snoring throughout? I'm sorry! I just couldn't focus it was so distracting :( looking forward to the next video!
I absolutely love boho! I currently use the same style in my own home and you gave me some good ideas with this video! I enjoy all your content especially gameplay! 🥰 I’m currently watching all your 100 baby challenge livestreams. & have recently started my own. Thanks for being so entertaining & lovely. Excited for the new year 🎉❤
Lovely Deli looks very comfortable and the colors are cheerful and cozy good job😀😊
😀❤️
Idk if you're gonna see this but I just have to let you know that Salim is pronounced "Suh-leem". It's a Islamic/Muslim name.
Thanks 😊
