- I tried the official Sims 4 shell challenge! I'm so stoked with how this turned out, I hope you like it. If you're wanting to give the challenge a go, finish it before December 6th 2022 and you might be able to win an expansion pack. I think The Sims is giving 10 away. Good luck if you try! Please take note the rules in this challenge are different to the usual rules in shell challenges. We go through them at the start :) they are much more relaxed and flexible.
I got confused when I read them at first took time looked at other creations see to see what others did when it came to rules but in the end I stuck with my guns and did it as if it were a regular shell challenge ☺️

Del Sol Valley will now and forever be called Sel Dol Valley. A lovely Deli quirk that I love. And the build is amazing.

In spanish the name make more sense as "Sol del valley" that would translate as sun of the valley. While Del sol Valley is like "The sun valley".
@@augusto7681 I think it makes more sense in Portuguese, which is "Vale do Sol", I think. Never looked it up-

For how many bars that are included in every pack, I feel like not many people actually put them in their builds. Roof top bar? Back yard bar? Bar + coffee bar on the side of kitchens or dining areas?
Maybe I just like mojitos and mimosas too much.. 😅
You and me both lol. I never think to put them in bc in reality you don’t need a designated bar to make yourself a drink. I wish sims could just make them at a regular counter

I feel like they're very stifling, is all. Not many decorations to go with the amount of freaking bars we have.
Or I wish there would be a mini set of a cocktail shaker and a bar measure similar to the set for fizzy juices that came with spa day

I'm imagining that the "kids" room was once a home gym or something that had to be converted into a kids bedroom and thats why the door situation is weird. Love this build so much. All the different angled walls make it so interesting to look at from every angle.

This house gives me a vibe only a few of my own builds do. They give me a feeling of very smart design and furnishing that would be epic to live in irl. Really cool!

A genuinely incredible and inspired house. At first I was thinking oh no... But you know how to just pull stuff together sooo well. Well done Deli. ❤️🏡
eco friendly "concrete" does exist. It's mud mixed with sand and some hay. straw, grass. or pine needles. It's what they used before concrete and still is used today in fact about 1/3 of the world does. Tribes in africa use it for building thier huts, and some aritecs are prefering it from concrete in more modern homes due to it's qualities like insulation, it helps keep heat out and cools down the interior

I loved the yellow you had in the living area but the end result all around turned out really cool! This is a really fun house and you're right, it looks good from all angles. I especially love the meditation spot. lol And I'm gonna guess you were building this in the midst of one of the Burger Bois streams. 😂 Maybe James accidentally channeled the chaos for your Sim's fire. I'm surprised they can fill the pet bowl too. 😸
I like the yellow too. It could have been black/white and yellow to give a spicy in the room.

Environmentally friendly concrete indeed exist. It's called Green concrete and is made with residual industrial materials. It is also cheaper and more durable than regular concrete.
I'm not usually one for a dark color scheme, but I actually really like this build.

As far as long lasting building materials go, concrete is actually surprisingly environmentally friendly. It's inert, just needs water to activate, and can be endlessly recycled.
