That dang Jeep trim is always needing restoration it seems, glad there are so many good product options now. I used Lithium trim cubes in the Spring and they still look great.
Bruce - Great detail on video. I plan to use this product tomorrow on a Subaru Forrester and was searching your site to see what experience, if any, you have had with product. Great timing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skill.
Great video Bruce. I watched Yvan demo this stuff on his diy UA-cam channel. Def the product to get to restore the black. Those applicators are great for ceramic coating wheels, if you have spokes or tight spaces to get into.
Thanks. I’ll make sure to review that link. Those little blue swabs are awesome for so many things. I also use them for interior cleaning in tight spaces.
@ I put a trim sealant on the trim a couple months ago, any recommendations on a good clean to make sure restore and protect bonds? I also don’t have gold standard polish.
@ Hmm, I’m not familiar with this and the web site doesn’t have a lot of detail. Safe to say friction/abrasion will likely help remove; so I’d probably use a good all purpose cleaner and scrub the trim well before applying a new product. Let me know how it goes. You might try one piece of trim and see the results before doing it all.
Yes, I’ve used that before as well. I think the combination of dye and ceramic makes DIY Trim Restore & Protect particularly durable and effective, albeit a bit messier install. Thanks again for taking the time to watch and share what works for you 👍🏻

Im going to be ordering this very shortly. As usual, another excellent video!! 👍🏻🇨🇦
Awesome! Thank you!
A man with great taste, I see the KC tool sticker in the background. Detailing products take enough of my money.
Yep. I’m a fan. Thanks for watching.
Nice job Mr. Bruce! Very thorough explanation on how to restore plastic trim.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you
Excellent video. This is a great product from DIY for trim.
Thank you, Mike. Appreciate it very much.
What a transformation on those hood latches and door handles. Nice! I'll be picking up that dental tool for sure.
Thanks! The hood latches and door handles were looking worn.
That dang Jeep trim is always needing restoration it seems, glad there are so many good product options now. I used Lithium trim cubes in the Spring and they still look great.
Awesome. I have used those as well and they work! Glad you’ve found something that works well for you.

It was great timing! I think you’ll really like the results. Best of luck.
Awesome video Bruce! Just purchased a bottle few days ago for my daughters new to her CRV. The pillars need a bit of help.
Cool! Good luck and have fun 🤩

@@lindavent9490 Yes - use them on ceramic around front grille or any other tight spot. I also use them for cleaning tight interior surfaces.
Let's go
Thanks Bruce, I do have a bottle and my 2015 Jeep Wrangler that I'm going to do. I hope mine looks as good. Very nice.
Best of luck! I’m sure it will look awesome!
Great video. Love DIY products
Thank you! They make some decent products. Appreciate you watching.
Looks great Bruce! I ordered some of the blue swabs, the link to the flat swabs goes to the nitrile gloves.
Thanks. I’ll make sure to review that link. Those little blue swabs are awesome for so many things. I also use them for interior cleaning in tight spaces.
@Bruces-Garage I've seen you use them before but totally forgot about them. They'll definitely come in handy on occasion!
First!!!!
Great tutorial Bruce.
Thank you!
I just purchased DIY trim restore and protect, excited to see the transformation on my wife’s 2012 outback.
Fantastic! I bet you’ll make it look great.
@ I put a trim sealant on the trim a couple months ago, any recommendations on a good clean to make sure restore and protect bonds? I also don’t have gold standard polish.
@ What sealant did you use? That may determine how aggressive you need to be.
@@Bruces-GarageI used the AM details trim sealant. Disappointed with results. Still looks kinda faded

I like using Cerakote trim restorer, no dye formula. It has lasted more than a year and easy available local in my area...
