Hahaha the no free foot content was my favorite part!! My sister is so funny. I took a break posting for awhile, life got crazy for a bit, but I'm going to try to start posting more regularly now! Thanks for watching.
I rarely comment but I love UA-camrs that keep it honest. Obviously from your other videos, you are a seasoned hiker but this shows that anything can happen on a trail, like a knee injury. You seem like such a positive person in the outdoors which we need more of. You got yourself a new follower!!
Wow, the Grand Canyon is just incredible. I remember visiting Mather Point during the summer of 2021 and it was awesome, just really amazing how big and vast the canyon is, it's really a lot to take in, unlike anything I’ve have ever seen before. Beautifully amazing video. 👍👍👍👍👍
Good morning Erin! Miss you and your adventures! My spring break hikes were awesome in Grand Canyon. My grand parents lived by the north rim area. Had the most awesome summers there. We used to joke that my grandparents front yard was Monument Valley and there backyard was Grand Canyon lol. Have fun and stay safe. Laughed at the foot content lol.
I did this hike with the ribbon falls hike in between at the bottom in 1981. It was one of the best experiences of my life. It pushed me to some of my limits but in the end showed me that I could do most anything I set my mind to.
Hike from Cottonwood camp ground to the South Rim with full packs was aggressive. Sure it's pretty flat to Phantom Ranch, and mostly a downhill bias, but it still ate up a lot of your time and I am sure you were already a bit tired when you got to Phantom ranch. Even though Bright Angel trail is a bit longer I usually take it out because it has water stops so you can carry a bit less weight. But the views on the South Kaibab trail are better, you know in daylight, so I am happy for you that your took that way out. It's a heck of a hike! You guys did great.
I've been slowly watching all your videos, thank you so much for letting me experience travel vicariously. I am around your age and yet have developed health issues which have left me more-or-less homebound the last year. I'm getting better but still can't travel.
Watched the entire video...fully expecting y'all to be eaten by mountain lions and coyotes...was pleasantly pleased y'all made it all the way thru without being eaten by mountain lions and coyotes 👍👍
Thinking of doing this hike, searched and 1st result is your experience. Nice video! You should do this for other popular places, pros/cons videos for newbies..
I agree on that tampon issue. They are just price hiking nonsense and I don't like that. I wouldn't buy anything from that place. I would keep it moving. Wish I had a family to do hikes with me. They are too much city people. I was the only one that escape to enjoy the outdoors more.
Missing your cool videos since a long time ago. I laughed with no free foot content, reminded me of Nickelodeon jajaja. Warm regards dear Erin!!

Nice video!
What was the date of your hike? I've been enjoying your adventures! I could be your grandmother but debating heading out west in my Subaru Forester.
We started the hike on October 15th! Thank you for watching! Out west is the best :)
totally agree with your mid-video rant!
Right?! It's ridiculous! Thanks!

Right?!?! Agh made me so mad! And that’s a bummer, the outdoors are best shared, but also a great way to meet new friends!
Did you seriously just blur out your foot? 😂 what’s this world coming to
Hey Baby 😍
