This has been an incredibly interesting behind the scenes set of videos! I always enjoy your building videos when you share your thought processes, and this adds another aspect working with the Sims team. It's a pretty big deal being the sole builder, too-congratulations! Love the term 'Granny Flat'!! I've only heard that type of structure referred to as a casita or in-law flat. Glad you stayed firm on that bookcase-it's a fitting room divider for this home, and always enjoy a good Jerry placement! All the lots look fantastic-well done!
Love it!!! Especially the inspiration for Rory's room Ok I have to put a rocking chair in Lily's room, she can do some knitting to relax when she wants some alone time
It' s soo great that you had acces to the lore and could build the house this family deserve. I'm really enjoying this type of video, that I can watch early version and see how it develop in time. It's really cool
Hearing your reasoning/lore for why you have done each step in the building and decorating process has given me an extra layer of appreciation for the Lots looking the way they do. I love being able to tie something to lore in these games!
So glad they had you build the lots for this. I'm having such a blast playing this pack. Your lots are so good that I do not feel compelled to change them, they are good as is! Love that, as I can spend more time actually playing instead of fixing. THANK YOU! Also can't wait for more of your werewolf let's play as I am a bit stuck at the moment and your let's plays always get me going again. Good job all around, now get crackin!
Thank you EA for using these great builders for the lots in recent games. The care really shows. Thank YOU James Turner for giving us a look into the process. I love how you worked the story into the build. Having followed you for so long and thinking back about some of your previous builds like the abandoned warehouse turned gallery... I can see where you were a very logical choice as a designer for this pack.
I am so enjoying this series of videos. I love seeing your process and how you work with Maxis/EA to fit in with the lore. I think you were chosen for this not only because your builds avoid pathing issues without looking sparce but you are clearly easy to work with.
I love seeing the behind the scenes of the builds. I don't think I'll be replacing anything anytime soon. The terrain manipulation is such a great touch.
The only reason why I’m buying werewolves pack! EA already took way too much money from me LOL not only in The sims but also covet fashion (phone game) BUT YOU SIR! You’re the reason I’m buying the pack! Thank you!!!
I’m glad you pushed to keep the bookshelf as a room divider, one of my favorite details in the house!! Makes it feel open and inviting while still being cozy :D
i think it's really amazing because having actual people that play the games adds so much- i was able to tell whose room was whose without watching this video based on detail and placement of furniture alone. i was so excited to see that since it's also something i enjoy doing when it comes to worldbuilding and im so excited to just uncover more of the lore
this world's vibe is totally match with james's style of build, so glad they chose him as the builder for the lots, I really love this series, can't wait to see the library episode!
All of it makes me want to do the gameplay, visit everywhere, and play as all the characters. Like I wasnt sure, im very into stories. im overly detailed in everyones in my game. I take a ton of pictures.. I really want to take my time and play. Just well done everybody. (also all items, and cas are super useful)
the care and thought you put into these builds is so evident. great job james! hope you get to do this again with future packs. i would also be so keen to see deli get to build some lots for the sims in the future too :)
This video was really fun for me personally. I like seeing the process and the bit-by-bit that it was built. I think it's a little different than watching a build that normally would go up on the gallery for download because it came with the game. Ive been playing this lot for the last few days and had no idea that James had actually built it. No wonder it felt cozy and not devoid or life or personality like a lot of EA builds. I like that they're including players' builds and objects, I just wish I had known this was player-made.
its none of my business… but i hope EA paid you generously for all the work youve done for this pack james! your attention to detail is admirable, i am so incredibly proud of you from how far youve come. huge fan. your storytelling through your builds has made this pack so incredible.
I never thought about the compatability of the different lots you made, how they weren't all created separatily from each other but with all of them in mind. I'm really loving these builds and will be sad that the series will be over.
Amazing job, James, you definitely did right by the world and by the players. It's so great to have someone who actually cares about the game do the lots. They are so much more cohesive and aesthetically pleasing. You 100% deserve this opportunity.
I have never felt much desire to play with the premade families before seeing James build this world. It's so full of personality I can't help thinking "I can't wait to meet these sims!"
James!! You have no idea how incredibly excited I was to hear it was you building these lots! You did a phenomenal job, and I legit want to buy this pack because you got to build them.
It's really cool to see the world being built. I'm by far more excited for this pack than the high school pack. If I took over this exact lot, at most i personally would make it a little less rustic and might expand a room or two, while trying to keep your general layout. The external layout and the granny nook are perfect.
The amount of detail in this house is mindblowing🥺 like i think it gives so much more background story to the pre-made family living here, it seems like it's really their house and they've been living here for very long time Congrats James!🥳👏
Love the house! Too bad they moved out in my game due to the Neighborhood Stories feature. I can learn a lot from watching these build videos, I am very uncreative myself when it comes to that.
This is why one of the first things I do when I start a new Sims game is go into Manage Households and turn off the moving house options for NPCs in Neighborhood Stories
I really love that you are showing us the process, It is SO interesting and fun to see your creative process and thoughts as you made these builds that I now have in my game and can play with! You did so good!! They chose the perfect person for this gamepack!
Oh, I love the way you used the bookcase to create areas in the living room. Really smart! And it looks amazing! The entire house is pretty cool and I'm really glad to have you as the collaborator in this pack. Thank you for showing us the process!
LOL -- "we would have preferred this house that is supposed to have three people, plus the untouched bedroom of the fourth person who moved out, be one story." Okay then, Gurus, you do it. But I like the final design of the house and the granny flat for Lily. You did a good job!
SIMS Team: James is always complaining and finding mistakes in our builds, how about we make him do a whole world and see how hard it is? James: Uses this opportunity to troll the entire SIMS community with under-roll toilet paper. Because Werewolves are like cats and like to play with toilet paper. I love that the Sims team is actually including simmers and youtubers in the creation of packs now. Idk if they've been doing this and I'm only just now realizing or if this has been a thing for a while, but I love it.
I'm glad that there are lots using terrain editing in the game now! I never use terrain editing because there are no default lots with it so my houses stick out.
I love your LPs but you are the best builder and designer in the community IMO hands down - I wish you would build more! I've watched your older tutorials so many times. Would you ever do another real-time build with tips and tricks...? Thank you for your amazing content :) Love from Ireland! (Though I'm sure you get that in Oz since Irish people are EVERYWHERE down there lol) :)

For some reason in my world no one but lily lives here. I’m glad he made these video and explain the lore behind it. I thought it was weird that one elderly sim lived alone in a 4 bedroom house but I just shrugged it off.
My sims 1st day was to visit this house and I love this house and the area around it, so I had to have my sims move in there 😉 I was waiting on this video upload of how you did this house.
I love this series of videos. Thanks for sharing your process with us! It's interesting to see a bit into how you work with the sims team to make these.
EA have invited great builders to make great lots. The next step they must invite that outstanding gameplay mod coders to make the game work as actually a game, not a pack of nice editors Upd. Just tested werewolfs and must say it is gameplay wise much better then spellcasters or even vampires. And size of the world shows how it must be done. Still needs more lots though. Now all we need is more integration of add-ons with each other and base game. And more realistic features in base game and future add-ons. But it is definitely the right direction.

There were a few things he mentioned in this video that I thought "if only he had item from x pack available" like in the kitchen he said about them growing their own herbs and there's that item from realm of magic that would be perfect
Love it!!! Especially the inspiration for Rory's room
Ok I have to put a rocking chair in Lily's room, she can do some knitting to relax when she wants some alone time
James can just do all EA builds now. It's settled.
I disagree cause the community is way bigger than just James. There is other amazing builders out there that deserve to have this experience
@@theoneandmany1990 I really love Jame's buildings but I agree with having different builders from all over the world.
Devon Bumpkin is underrated, love his builds. There's so much character and storytelling...
@@theoneandmany1990 I would love for lilsimsie to build some , hers are great
@@serobinson1 she did already I think. Not sure which pack tho might be wrong haha but I do remember her saying
I love being able to tie something to lore in these games!
they definitely chosen the right person to create these lots.
An absolutely delightful look into how this lot was built, I think it is a rather lovely one! Thank you for sharing!
I can see where you were a very logical choice as a designer for this pack.
even with the restrictions, you still build leagues better than the actual sims design team tbh
Makes it feel open and inviting while still being cozy :D
same!
James is super talented. The amount of creativity despite the cheat restriction is fantastic
I think this is my favourite of the new houses. The environmental storytelling ist perfect.
i think it's really amazing because having actual people that play the games adds so much- i was able to tell whose room was whose without watching this video based on detail and placement of furniture alone. i was so excited to see that since it's also something i enjoy doing when it comes to worldbuilding and im so excited to just uncover more of the lore
I always love to see you build and convey a story about the build... and having this in the game just makes it extra special!
That transition still hit hard! 🐱🦁
That first house design looked so realistic though!
Edit: it did turn out quite nice.
this world's vibe is totally match with james's style of build, so glad they chose him as the builder for the lots, I really love this series, can't wait to see the library episode!
Ahh this build very charming! It's a bit run down, but I think you can tell that the Sims love their home and want to make it nice.
I like that they're including players' builds and objects, I just wish I had known this was player-made.
its none of my business… but i hope EA paid you generously for all the work youve done for this pack james! your attention to detail is admirable, i am so incredibly proud of you from how far youve come. huge fan. your storytelling through your builds has made this pack so incredible.
i hope this leads to more work in the future! your passion for this game is what keeps it alive ❤️
As a console player, terrain manipulation has been really difficult to master so these kind of builds are very impressive to me! Love it 🥰
I love how he just loved to play the game and now he’s building FOR the game😭❤️ I’m so proud of you James!
I love how you got to build all these lots for this new pack I bet it felt really good and a really big proud moment for you happy for you go James!!
Hahaha the toilet paper debate never made sense to me lol just make sure you replace the darn thing when it's empty.
I never thought about the compatability of the different lots you made, how they weren't all created separatily from each other but with all of them in mind. I'm really loving these builds and will be sad that the series will be over.
Really loving this build series! Definitely making me consider getting the pack!
The landscaping you placed around the place looks amazing! Your whole process on all the builds has been so interesting, well done.
I really appreciate how you really think of storytelling in your builds you’ve done fore this pack.
The amount of detail in this house is mindblowing🥺 like i think it gives so much more background story to the pre-made family living here, it seems like it's really their house and they've been living here for very long time
Congrats James!🥳👏
Thank you for showing us the process!
these videos really gave me new insights on how much storyline actually goes into the builds
LOL -- "we would have preferred this house that is supposed to have three people, plus the untouched bedroom of the fourth person who moved out, be one story." Okay then, Gurus, you do it. But I like the final design of the house and the granny flat for Lily. You did a good job!
I can see how City Skylines is a little behind now lol.
Amazing build yet again James!!
(Lore Canon by Katie M)
Honestly, I thought he would troll the community by not placing any bins. XD
All your builds are great and this one is my favourite just because of the way you arranged the living room.
This is amazing! It would also be cool to do a challenge like this too. Like following the EA rules when building a house.
I’m glad you keep the bookcase and didn’t switch it out with the base game one! it makes more sense and give the house more character
I love this! We can see exactly how hard it must be to make the builds because you have such specific guidelines to meet.
Just amazing! It is just so incredible to have watched you playing the sims right at the beginning with the rags to riches series when I first realized people actually recorded videos of playing sims and uploading them to youtube and now seeing you doing this! You must be incredibly proud :)
I'm planning on doing a rotational gameplay in the werewolf pack, so I've been binging your videos on it and they're so nice! I love how you grounded the builds to the lore and characters, and this house is one of my favourites
23:02 the moment you realise James is either a supreme troll or has never sat in a chair to play guitar. 😅🤣
this build is amazing. so glad it was James that got to build for thus world.
Literally just watching the first part perfect timing! :)
Thanks, James for this build walkthrough. It's really great to see how the process works while looking at the different stages in development for the world you're building in.
Literally the best builds in sims 4 amazing job James 👏
I love how cozy this house looks
I love these videos so much, so cool to see the behind the scenes process!
I love that the Sims team is actually including simmers and youtubers in the creation of packs now. Idk if they've been doing this and I'm only just now realizing or if this has been a thing for a while, but I love it.
Been living here all day (after marrying the alpha) and it's a great house! Love all the lots, you did a fantastic job!!
I'm glad that there are lots using terrain editing in the game now! I never use terrain editing because there are no default lots with it so my houses stick out.
u made this pack so interesting with your builds - I don't think anyone else could do it better than you
I love your LPs but you are the best builder and designer in the community IMO hands down - I wish you would build more! I've watched your older tutorials so many times. Would you ever do another real-time build with tips and tricks...? Thank you for your amazing content :) Love from Ireland! (Though I'm sure you get that in Oz since Irish people are EVERYWHERE down there lol) :)
The bookcase and the 'granny flat' are my favorite parts of this build, definitely looks cozy and self-built
I think it is so cool that you got to do this. Super amazing. Love watching the progression of how the builds were made.
James triggering everyone with his under roll in all his builds in this pack.... first thing ima change when i buy this pack, under roll is not accepted James.
But it does make sense, lore wise! Children and pets can't unroll it if it's under
Thank you for thinking of doing the video this way! It’s so fun to see the process and how much things change.
I seriously couldn't find this house for like half the day even though I knew it was near the starter home, so I gotta say amazing job hiding it!
I love this series of videos. Thanks for sharing your process with us! It's interesting to see a bit into how you work with the sims team to make these.
EA have invited great builders to make great lots. The next step they must invite that outstanding gameplay mod coders to make the game work as actually a game, not a pack of nice editors
Upd.
I would love to see your bb.move objects + all packs Renos of these lots! But excellent work!
