Fun fact: "volk" (волк) means "wolf" in Russian, and "Volkov" is a common russian last name (just like "Wolf" last name in English). Cute they added a household of werewolves under the family name "Wolf" :)
It also means "(a) people" in Dutch. As in a group of people belonging somewhere, mostly used for referring to the people of a nation, but can also be used for just a community of people. Which fits the wholesome werewolf pack & the leader taking in other wolves for a sense of belonging. They probably just meant to refer to the Russian word but I like the (probably accidental) double meaning! :)

This pack seems like it took so much work to make, which is crazy for a game pack! It feels like an expansion pack hahahaha I’m obsessed. They really stepped up their game this time around
Seeing starter houses that I don't immediately have to change is such a good feeling. They've done way better with this pack then a lot of there pervious ones
when I heard werewolves, I thought that it sounds kinda boring.. but Im actually impressed with everything this pack has! new world, new build/buy, new cas, game play!
Whenever simsie makes videos like this, it always makes me super inspired and almost persuaded to get the pack. Out of all the packs I have, I feel like I’ll enjoy this pack the most! Just seeing this video already makes me absolutely ADMIRE this pack, the details, and the backstory’s. Also, thanks simsie for making awesome videos every singular day, (I’m subscribed)
this is the first occult pack i bought for my game & i love it!! it's been so much fun to play & build in this world. also you referencing dan howell made me giggle :)
I love that James made the library perfect for people doing rags to riches. Like he set it up to where that could be a place to go if you’re trying to do the challenge
Just wanted to say… My daughter (she’s 5) absolutely love you and your videos. I couldn’t agree more. She certainly has good taste. Sending you lots of love and only good vibes.
I really love this pack! I don’t play with occults much so I probably won’t use the werewolves much, but they are fun. The main thing I love is the cas, as well as the world. A lot of the build stuff is great too! Overall a great pack!
This world is absolutely the best one of the smaller gamepack ones so far! I find some of the expansion pack ones more interesting but they obviously have an advantage of being larger and having more objects/lots/sims etc. for how limited they seem to have to make the gamepack worlds this one feels like it has more content than a few of the large ones!
i imagine this world is somewhere between henford on bagley and granite falls. i always theorize what worlds lead into eachothwr by the scenery and it def looks like granite falls/glimerbrook/henford forests
ooooh i love the stories the townies come with. Like you could make the author of the books live in a different world and visit it sometimes and other stuff like that
Love pine forests so much, the world is amazing. Not a fan of werewolves but it brings back that Maxis charm that the old games used to have. I really miss Sims 2 PsP and DS, the aliens and military conspiracies were truly my favorite. Sims 2 and Bustin’ Out were the epitome of those pop culture references, loved that era.
I was thinking of getting this pack just for the world 🤣 I’ve never been super into werewolves, but the town is stunning. I just don’t think I can justify spending $20 when money is tight and the world only has like 5 lots. I just really wish they’d add more lots.
I think a cosmetology expansion pack would be so cool! Like so much gameplay, build mode, and cas objects would have to come with it! They could put a playable career as a cosmetologist (hairdresser, makeup artist, aesthetician, nail tech, etc.). They could also make a cosmetology school and complete a certain amount of hours. I think the school should be as long as it would take to get through a university year or semester or whatever. The point is that would be so cool and so fun! Maybe they could even make a new world with salons and the school and a sim version of cosmoprof and Sally’s beauty stores!
I just hope they continue to be this great and detailed with regular family game play because I think that’s important since most players are realistic like myself, although I will be getting this pack and exploring it to the fullest, the world is amazing, cas, bnb all amazing, and I am excited to experience this.
I couldn't have cared less about werewolves in the Sims 4, I was like "No way I am going to buy that game pack". But now seeing what it has to offer, I am almost convinced that I will buy it. It looks fantastic!
Small little lore I learned from Tiktok but Lily is actually Caleb’s and Lilith’s (from the Vampire Pack) cousin. They were close until Lilith started getting involved with the “Dark Arts”. It was revealed that Lilith was turned by Vlad and that Caleb was turned by Miss Hell, a Sim featured in the trailer but not in-world. Anyways, Lilly stated that she was already growing apart from her family but was furthered pushed by both of them turning into life states that were considered mortal enemies.
It's a very pretty world and I appreciate that the devs are making more of an effort! But I understand what you mean that your average family of 4 won't be living there with all the residents randomly wolfing out lol
i have a bunch of respect to EA for adding so much detail to this pack! I personally don’t play with occults a lot but after seeing the detail and lore i might invest!!!
This makes me want a revamp for Vampires world. There are only four lots in it, after all. They could expand the world into something bigger like this. Maybe turn the present Vlad's mansion into a library/community center (functional graveyard?!) and give him a castle shell to skulk around. Perhaps, make that boarded up cave where bats come through into a rabbit hole passageway that takes you to his secluded, spooky mansion that is hidden away. Then add in more lore snippets on tombstones and in the vampire tomes. (Those are some thick, expensive tomes. They should be able to tell more about Vlad, the vampires in the portraits and the like.) 'Make that small island in the lake accessible (but you have to work a bit to find the way to it) and have it be the only place you can collect something rare. It also makes me want Realm of Magic to have a better lore system with the NPC sages fleshed out some. You got a small story regarding to why the Magic Realm is all disjointed and all, but other than that... Give us some history of the Realm before the void, the things the sages must do or put up with among the three of them to keep things in balance and all that jazz.
im loving the pack so far and have been having a lot of fun discovering the lore. one annoying thing though, with minimal spoilers, is that i learned that lily is related to some other sims in the game, and they seem to be really important to her. but just like johnny zest and the landgraabs, its just not there. they dont even know eachother. i know those sims werent from the werewolf pack so i dont know how possible it is to make that relationship exist, but it sure is disappointing learning about the relation after my sim already joined lilys pack and got engaged to lilys treasured lost relative she talks about a lot because for a moment i thought that would make for a really cool inadvertent reunion but its actually completely meaningless as far as actual gameplay is concerned
I already have two ideas for sims to play, one is a 'classy' and powerful werewolf family, who's twins are complete opposites (one embraces the feral side of being a werewolf, and the other embraces just pure power & sees her lycanthropy as a means to getting power) who moved there to seek out the help of their old friend because their toddler son shows no signs of being a werewolf (husband is convinced of cheating.) And also a young child is left turned into a werewolf after their entire family was killed by one and Kristopher's old friend who's a human social worker takes the child to Moonwood Mills in order for them to get help for their newfound lycanthropy and fear of werewolves
I’m really hoping to see a pack refresh similar to so with Vampires and Realm of Magic, they set the bar sooo much higher and those packs deserve better
I was really not excited when I heard that the next pack would be werewolves, but I agree, this world is very cool and it makes me actually want to play.
I would like to see an option for adding split lots residential rental w/ retail. Or multiple residential, to build tiny home neighborhoods. Get larger lots w/ options to split up for building communities w/ mix of commercial and residential.
This pack and the world is very real big cottage vibes, like a family of werewolves that live in a cottage and have like a farm but like in that farm world whatever it’s called I don’t know! Now i wonder if you have a human and then have a werewolf and then they have a baby with a baby be half human half werewolf?
werewolves aren’t my thing, but this pack still has me super excited!! it gives me hope that future packs will be loaded with just as much detail as werewolves does!!!

This pack seems like it took so much work to make, which is crazy for a game pack! It feels like an expansion pack hahahaha I’m obsessed. They really stepped up their game this time around
This is the first occult focussed pack I've bought, and it's soo good! Woot! 🌙✨
A banana and glitter?
This world is so cool The sims 4 are getting so much better at creating worlds
Seeing starter houses that I don't immediately have to change is such a good feeling. They've done way better with this pack then a lot of there pervious ones
I love the lore too! This reminds me of sims 2 when you would look into the townies memories to see what was going on in the neighbourhood 🧡🧡🧡
This pack gives me strong gravity falls/stranger things vibes - from the world to the clothes and the build items. I love it
when I heard werewolves, I thought that it sounds kinda boring.. but Im actually impressed with everything this pack has! new world, new build/buy, new cas, game play!
This by far has the be one of the best pack and the best occults 10/10 pack
I’m glad to keep seeing improvements by the sims team
James did the builds though.
@@citrusbutter7718 that’s why there is improvements
@@imjudyyy1945 Yeah but the credit should go to him as far as the interactive builds.
@@citrusbutter7718 agree but I was talking about the world not just the building in it
Whenever simsie makes videos like this, it always makes me super inspired and almost persuaded to get the pack.
I feel like with the more open world feel they are preparing for the sims 5 with little to no load screens. I love this pack!
I disagree, most of the worlds are pretty open, this one has more gameplay scattered around, but people haven't explored it.
the world is so cool, so well thought. I'm in love with this pack, and I really like the werewolves
I can see myself using this world a lot. I loveee how it looks and all the details!
i played this pack for several hours and i legit had so much fun, i was laughing so much. they did a great job with this one
I love the new world too! They did a good job on the pack!
ooooh i love the stories the townies come with. Like you could make the author of the books live in a different world and visit it sometimes and other stuff like that
I feel like of the worlds released in the last year or 2, it's probably my favorite world. And James's builds are amazing.
I 100% believe this world was inspired by the Twilight series. Think about it! Jacob is the potential heir? The werewolf sparing area!?? Y’all
And one of the werewolf lore books is written by Bella Jacobs 😅
I would LOVE for them to go back to some of the old supernatural packs and refresh them with new attention to detail. I am so hype for this pack!!
I absolutely adore the world too Kayla it’s beautiful!!
I do believe I absolutely LOVE this world! It's my favorite!
It looks fantastic!
i hope that with the werewolves and vampires that we get to have hybrids too. i think it would be so cool.
This pack is so replayable. I love the pack interactions and the personality each wolf has
"I wanna go properly play with the pack" (15:48)
True on more than one level 😁
It's a very pretty world and I appreciate that the devs are making more of an effort! But I understand what you mean that your average family of 4 won't be living there with all the residents randomly wolfing out lol
I love this world wayyyy more then I thought i would 😳 they managed to fit in so much on so few lots 😆
Lore!!! I’m so glad they’re giving real backstories and relationships between townies
i’m honestly shocked at how.. good this pack is
i have a bunch of respect to EA for adding so much detail to this pack! I personally don’t play with occults a lot but after seeing the detail and lore i might invest!!!
i absolutely love that if you have two sims and they’re both away from the home lot, they’re still around
This world is soooo good. I can't believe I saw some people complaining about them adding this new world.
Im Loving the World And Characters, the lore is intresting. Having the sims community building lots, Maybe there will be hope for Sims 5 nuilding?
Give us some history of the Realm before the void, the things the sages must do or put up with among the three of them to keep things in balance and all that jazz.
i love how open world this one feels
I’m getting into your old videos but I LOVE how quick you are because I just seen the trailer
im loving the pack so far and have been having a lot of fun discovering the lore. one annoying thing though, with minimal spoilers, is that i learned that lily is related to some other sims in the game, and they seem to be really important to her. but just like johnny zest and the landgraabs, its just not there. they dont even know eachother. i know those sims werent from the werewolf pack so i dont know how possible it is to make that relationship exist, but it sure is disappointing learning about the relation after my sim already joined lilys pack and got engaged to lilys treasured lost relative she talks about a lot because for a moment i thought that would make for a really cool inadvertent reunion but its actually completely meaningless as far as actual gameplay is concerned
Definitely one of my favorite worlds. Can’t wait to get the pack
I already have two ideas for sims to play, one is a 'classy' and powerful werewolf family, who's twins are complete opposites (one embraces the feral side of being a werewolf, and the other embraces just pure power & sees her lycanthropy as a means to getting power) who moved there to seek out the help of their old friend because their toddler son shows no signs of being a werewolf (husband is convinced of cheating.) And also a young child is left turned into a werewolf after their entire family was killed by one and Kristopher's old friend who's a human social worker takes the child to Moonwood Mills in order for them to get help for their newfound lycanthropy and fear of werewolves
could you build greg's house? the exterior from the unplayable one in the world and give it an interior?
The books are great! It's a running series about a character named Peter Barker. I immediately bought them for my sims
I’m really hoping to see a pack refresh similar to so with Vampires and Realm of Magic, they set the bar sooo much higher and those packs deserve better
I love the werewolf pack, you can roam around. lots to explore :D
I was really not excited when I heard that the next pack would be werewolves, but I agree, this world is very cool and it makes me actually want to play.
One of my favorites if not THE favorite world in The Sims 4
Anyone else realize when looking at the kitchen there were three used chairs and one looking relatively unused? James did an excellent job.
I would like to see an option for adding split lots residential rental w/ retail. Or multiple residential, to build tiny home neighborhoods. Get larger lots w/ options to split up for building communities w/ mix of commercial and residential.
wait the townies lore is so cool i would love to play with lou and try to cure his lycanthropy and get celene back
This pack and the world is very real big cottage vibes, like a family of werewolves that live in a cottage and have like a farm but like in that farm world whatever it’s called I don’t know!
Now i wonder if you have a human and then have a werewolf and then they have a baby with a baby be half human half werewolf?
werewolves aren’t my thing, but this pack still has me super excited!! it gives me hope that future packs will be loaded with just as much detail as werewolves does!!!
I don't buy packs and just play base game but this looks so fun!
This pack makes me hope for an update to all occult packs
