Hi Naresh, You can use a gap analysis virtually anywhere you have a goal or target you havent met. You assess the current situation and compare it to that goal and that is your gap. Gap means a distance that has been left open. Another example: You can do a Gap analysis on your weight loss if you were overweight. Where am I now, where should I be - and how will I get there (or lose that weight). I hope this helps. :-)
