Went to the Bahia palace today and it was incredible! Definitely the highlight for me so far. Got here yesterday, it’s my first time in Marrakesh… and it’s completely bonkers 😂 Hope you guys enjoy the rest of your trip!
Definitely felt similar to how you do... it's crazy 😂 Marrakech was such a cool experience though! I agree the Bahia was a highlight. Thanks for the kind wishes, and hope you enjoy your trip as well!
The story behind it is very romantic. The governor at that time of Marrakech rose from a common man to become so powerful and he fell in love with a beautiful woman from a noble family and he wanted to build the palace as a gift for his beloved wife and give it the same name as hers...Her name was Albahia
Greetings from fes, actually the price for the access to the Bahia Palace is 10 Dirhams for Moroccans to encourage them to discover their culture, and it's 70 Dirhams for tourists, but really it worth it.
My stomach acts up sometimes while traveling, too. Such a bummer and pain in the...well, you know. 😂😂 We've seen Moorish architecture in southern Spain and it's amazing - I'm sure seeing it there was incredible! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Just a small remark, actually it's the Governor's palace (19th century) not the King's palace. The King's palace is still owned by the King and not open to the public. Nice job you're doing, keep it up 😉
I recently saw your video about the cheapest desert tour from Marrakech. Question, where was the dessert tour? Was it in Agafay or somewhere else? Was the waterfall in Imill? We will be traveling to Morocco in October of this year and am working on our itinerary.
Si un jour vous êtes de passage à Casablanca, je serai honoré de vous faire visiter notre cité et vous faire découvrir de beaux coins que seuls les anciens Casablancais connaissent. Et bien sûr ça sera gratuitement.
@Rudy Robles The doorway one was unintentional haha. She only really gets annoyed when we're standing really far away and she has to run to get to it 😂

That makes sense. It was worth it for sure! The tile work alone was beautiful.

The stomach issues ended up staying around for a couple weeks, not too fun but everything else made it worth it!

Was that a “Tia for size”‘ at the doorway? Think Tia is getting annoyed at the “Tia for size” requests. 😂

Nah we haven’t.
In Morokko find you not fresh water in all place!
We've avoided the tap water, but the bottled water from Morocco is pretty good.
