Question of the Day: For this race at Zandvoort, I had my motion rig at 12%. Since it's such a bumpy track, do you think the shaking was too intense, just perfect, or would you like even more for future videos? Really appreciate the feedback!
This person is a true hardcore driving simulation user. Many UA-camrs post videos as if they are good at driving with all the safety features turned on, but this person actually turns off all the safety features. If you see that even if you step on the accelerator a little too hard, you lose control of the steering, you are a genuine user.
lol okay let’s settle down 90% of all sim racers turn settings off . They are a disadvantage and makes you slower . Most people with a rig will have them off 😊
@@ShanDiegoMG no. Many SimDrive UA-camrs turn on the driving option. I can read 100% even if I only watch the car a little bit. And the core of the safety function options I'm talking about is traction control. The rest is not perceived as difficult by driving UA-camrs who actually drive a bit. Traction control is an option that causes great difficulty because it causes stress while driving at every moment.
What a rollercoaster of a track! Fantastic, smooth driving - high commitment stuff. Throttle control was a joy. Rig is unreal - movement looks ideal 7:50
Brother what an absolutely insane vid you got that Sim dialed in and your attention to detail is incredible also phenomenal driving 👌 great work as always 👍
I personally love tracks like Zandvoort just because the car behaves like a mad cow so i d rather crash than compromise realism. In fact i never win a race!!!! You are the top dude🙏
I was wondering if there was much setting up to do for your motion system or is it plug n play with minimum setup? For example bass shakers took up so much of my time to research, set up and tweak for a long time to get things pretty good and when I looked at other people settings turns out I was just scratching the surface. Great driving and great content by the way, as always!
Thank you so much mate! Really appreciate it 🙌 I can't say anything about the other motion systems out there, but it I can tell you Qubic has made it as easy as possible with theyr Qubic Manager. And for me it was easier then my bass shakers. After a couple of days in the rig, you know exactly what options you want to dial up /down or turn off completely. I'd recommend finding a good video on YT with Qubic Manager, and you'll see what I mean.
Honestly the only way I'd improve this is by using the realistic helmet sound mode, I been using it for like a year and it is jarring when I hear the outside sound in this game, helmet sound is soooooo much better
Thank you so much! My screens are way too big to be mounted on the rig, plus you can’t exactly toss TVs around like that! 😉 You can check out my full setup here: ua-cam.com/video/PmI0VHUsQpY/v-deo.htmlsi=7Fc-5s2LrIk-WcK8 As for VR, I’ve tried it many times and do enjoy it, but I still prefer triple screens with today’s technology. For me, it’s the best balance right now. That said, I’m sure VR will keep improving in the coming years! 😊
I’m sorry if I keep anoyying you with these questions but I just got my fanatec stuff with the csl elite v2 pedals but was wondering if it’s normal that there is no travel on the load cell break.
@LondonCustoms-pm4fd You’re not annoying at all! 😊 The minimal travel on the load cell brake is totally normal. It’s designed to replicate the feel of real racing car brakes, which are naturally very stiff. It might take some time to adjust, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be braking like a pro! 😉
It's this tablet amzn.to/3XY8mwV running an app called SimHub. And I've used this to mount it trakracer.eu/collections/accessories/products/button-box-stream-deck-mount?ref=ProjectSimRacing

Thanks, bro! I really appreciate it! 🙌 Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love my setup and am super grateful for it! But I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and I always notice those little details myself. I’d love to change things up for each video, but it would just take too much time. Gotta find that balance between making it perfect and keeping the content flowing..
Of course I can. But I need to take in consideration how everything is looking on my side screens as well. And because games don't offer triple screen support, no matter the seating position, it's always going to be some kind of compromise 😉 Been trying to find the perfect compromise for the past two years..
So, I thought it would be cool to watch this on my VR headset. What a mistake. It was an awful experience. I was simultaneously nauseated and frightened to death. Zero out of 10, would not recommend. Mad props to drivers virtual and real. But it’s a hard no from me
@ShouzhongJi I don’t recall making a definite promise, but I appreciate the suggestion! I’ll definitely keep it in mind. If I do decide to make a video on Shanghai, I’m not sure when it will happen, but it’s on my radar!
