I actually use a helmet mounted GoPro and this setup to make my videos ua-cam.com/video/PmI0VHUsQpY/v-deo.htmlsi=7Fc-5s2LrIk-WcK8 And you are perfectly right, not even the 4090 could drive triple 4k TVs, that's why I actually run them at 2k instead (7680x1440). I can't see the difference from where I'm sitting and I can run them at 120fps 😉 I would buy 2 more TVs, because the immersion triples offer, is hard to beat. But triples are quite a pain to setup. I want you to know what you are getting yourself into 😁

Hey! Just curious -> does it look less realistic in person? For us with the go pro framing, it looks pretty much identical to reality since we don't see the edges of the monitors, but I'd assume you do?
I see pretty much exactly what you guys see while playing! The TVs wrap around and give me a field of view close to 210-220 degrees, so I'd have to turn my head almost 90 degrees to either side to see the edges of my monitors😊
It looks like you got your side monitors to line up pretty much perfectly with the bezel free kit. I have done the fov adjustments from the Trauma Team Racing youtube you've linked but my setup still does not line up like yours. Did you do anything different or did you use the exact settings in that video? What was your window position in the config file? Also, are you using Nvidia surround or not? Thanks!

Also, I have to constantly mention this to people with sims. YOu should turn the HALO OFF for simulation since in real life your eyes "see past" the halo....
@@ProjectSimRacing In real life we see a 3D image using both eyes. That's why a real pilot sees through the halo column. The halo column becomes "transparent". Since it's a 2D image, there is nothing behind the column in the game. You claim to see past the halo, but you just got used to it. That's why it is more real (for the player, not for the UA-cam viewers) to turn off the halo column.

But you can probably imagine the comments if I turn it off! 😂 I’ve been doing this long enough to know how it goes: ‘REALISM MODE with the halo off? @@ProjectSimRacing I appreciate this conversation haha. But honestly, and kinda objectively speaking, its more real with halo mode off. All you got to do is get people to do the test. Mentioning it here for those who dont know - Hold up one finger 1 foot from your face in between your eyes. Look at the finger, then focus your eyes on something in the distance. Both eyes will compose the image in your brain and your finger will "become see-thru" - This people, is how you see the halo in a real F1 car. Your eyes do not even notice it there as long as you are looking into the distance and not directly on the halo.
Do you hold ur ERS button? That's different to me, I might have to give that a good because I always forget to turn it off in some corners! Awesome setup btw!

What FFB settings do you run in game and wheel.
I actually use Fanalabs recommended settings for F1 24 and default in-game settings 🙂

Also, I have to constantly mention this to people with sims. YOu should turn the HALO OFF for simulation since in real life your eyes "see past" the halo....
I don't agree, because I "see past" the halo while driving, just like you said. So why turn it off?
@@ProjectSimRacing In real life we see a 3D image using both eyes. That's why a real pilot sees through the halo column. The halo column becomes "transparent". Since it's a 2D image, there is nothing behind the column in the game. You claim to see past the halo, but you just got used to it. That's why it is more real (for the player, not for the UA-cam viewers) to turn off the halo column.

But you can probably imagine the comments if I turn it off! 😂 I’ve been doing this long enough to know how it goes: ‘REALISM MODE with the halo off? Really?!’ ‘All that gear and you turn the halo off?’ ‘Turning off the halo is basically cheating!’ So yeah, no matter what I do, someone’s going to have something to say! 😆
@@ProjectSimRacing I appreciate this conversation haha. But honestly, and kinda objectively speaking, its more real with halo mode off. All you got to do is get people to do the test. Mentioning it here for those who dont know - Hold up one finger 1 foot from your face in between your eyes. Look at the finger, then focus your eyes on something in the distance. Both eyes will compose the image in your brain and your finger will "become see-thru" - This people, is how you see the halo in a real F1 car. Your eyes do not even notice it there as long as you are looking into the distance and not directly on the halo.
