Old and New Amtrak Power + Tri-Rail at Deerfield Beach

ALC-42s are now a common sight on the Amtrak Silver Service, but every now and then a P42 appears. Amtrak 91 had a P42 leading in front of a Charger, and 97 had two Chargers. Both trains came within ten minutes at Deerfield Beach, and the Tri-Rail timings lined up quite well, with five trains in total in 50 minutes.

Those ALC’s are so boxy on the side and otherwise so quiet. I’ll miss the GE’s and their sounds for sure.
