  • Getting work done on your bike when you don't have a work stand is a drag. You either need a second person to hold your bike up or turn it upside down, risk damaging your saddle and grips/shifters.
Topeak FlashStand is a portable work stand that weights 500grams will do just enough to get your rear wheel off the ground.
Watch me unboxing and testing this cool product.

How wide is the opening of the hook part that fits over the downtube? Thank you!

I don't have that information, but I believe Topeak's website has it.

Can the lift up the front wheel instead of the rear wheel?

The mount is done in a way that only the rear wheel lifts up, but that's just based on weight balance, so you could just add more weight to the rear wheel and the front wheel will lift up.
      Hope that makes sense?

Since the length is adjustable, I think it will do, I'm going to buy one for my Specialized Status

Only two legs it was better with three legs.

I found it to be very steady with just two legs. Plus, it's easier to carry. If you're using this on uneven terrain, three legs would be best.
